Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-2 in a thrilling Premier League match and Amad has since responded on social media.
Manchester United’s Amad has aimed a dig at rivals Arsenal following the Red Devils’ victory over the title contenders. United entered the fixture hoping to capitalise on the positive momentum from their 2-0 triumph over Manchester City the previous weekend.
However, they were confronted with another big test, travelling to face Premier League leaders Arsenal. Michael Carrick’s side fell behind in the opening period courtesy of Lisandro Martinez’s own goal.
The visitors managed to equalise before half-time when Bryan Mbeumo levelled the score at 1-1. Things improved even more for United afterwards, with Patrick Dorgu completing the turnaround to put them 2-1 ahead in the 50th minute.

In a thrilling encounter, Arsenal believed they had salvaged a point when Mikel Merino found the net in the 84th minute. Yet there remained one final dramatic moment, with Matheus Cunha’s spectacular goal securing all three points for United with just three minutes left to play.
The victory sparked celebrations from United both on the field and amongst the travelling supporters, and it appears Amad has now extended those celebrations to social media.

Prior to kick-off, social media personality and Arsenal supporter Jay predicted the result of the match on X (formerly Twitter). He posted: “Arsenal are winning 4-0, they just sent me the script.”
Amad didn’t hesitate to remind him of the prediction. He quoted the post and added a picture of the final score, writing: “Enjoy KID” alongside a winking emoji.
Jay responded with: “Buck me in ends g, don’t tweet me ever again.”
Amad had one final comeback, which read: “Your only hope is a corner (laughing emoji). Be humble KID (shushing emoji)”.
The victory ensures that United maintain their winning streak under interim manager Michael Carrick. It also propels them above Chelsea in the Premier League standings, with the team sitting in fourth place.
On the other hand, Arsenal remain four points ahead of both Manchester City and Aston Villa at the top of the table. The defeat means they missed an opportunity to extend their lead.
United will return to the pitch next Sunday, hosting Fulham at Old Trafford (2pm kick-off). They then welcome Tottenham the following week (Saturday, 7 February, 12.30pm kick-off).
