Fulham have now sealed the deal to sign a Premier League star as reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano gives the ‘here we go’ this afternoon.
The club are actively pursuing multiple targets to strengthen Marco Silva‘s squad this window as the Cottagers look to build on their impressive form and challenge for European qualification.
The west London club have made Ricardo Pepi their top striking target, with multiple bids apparently rejected by PSV Eindhoven.
The USA international striker remains a priority as Silva seeks reinforcements following Rodrigo Muniz’s injury, which has increased the burden on 34-year-old Raul Jimenez.

Silva emphasized the clarity of Fulham’s transfer strategy, stating weeks ago that the club knows “clearly what we need” and that staff and board are aligned on recruitment priorities.
The Portuguese stressed that improved league form wouldn’t alter their measured approach to squad building, and outgoings could facilitate new arrivals, with Adama Traoré now officially joining West Ham after limited playing time this season.
The forward’s departure has freed up wages and squad space while generating funds for incoming transfers, and according to Romano, some of that cash has been immediately reinvested in Man City’s Oscar Bobb.

The Norwegian is a stellar capture for Silva after coming through the ranks at City and displaying plenty of promise at first, before a serious injury thwarted his chances of regular first-team action under Pep Guardiola.
The forward first emerged as a genuine prospect when he scored a dramatic injury-time winner against Newcastle in January 2024, helping City secure their historic fourth consecutive Premier League title.
That moment announced his arrival, but subsequent events prevented him fulfilling his potential.
Recurring fitness issues devastated Bobb’s development, with a fractured leg in August 2024 costing him nearly an entire season. This campaign began promisingly with starts in City’s opening three Premier League matches, but injuries continued plaguing the 22-year-old.
Antoine Semenyo’s £64 million arrival from Bournemouth effectively ended Bobb’s City career, pushing him further down the pecking order.
However, City’s 20 per cent sell-on clause and matching rights in the deal suggest a real belief in his long-term potential.
