When it comes to strength training, there are many things that can either enhance or subtract the benefits that come with lifting weights. Whether you’re doing strength training for women or bodybuilding for men, the same general rules apply.

Be consistent with your fitness model. Stick to your workout plan, do your best each time, and strive to make improvements along the way.

Don’t assume that heavy lifting is necessary to build strength, tone up, and achieve weight loss. You can burn fat and lose weight with basic exercises such as bicep curls, deadlifts, squats, ab exercises, butt workouts and lower body exercises, as well as doing a circuit that incorporates cardio, HIIT, or TABATA.

You can get a great full body workout at the gym or do home strength training. Home workouts are just as effective as gym workouts as long as you find a routine that works for you. Online workout videos are a great way to increase motivation and get a great workout at home.

Diet is crucial, so make sure to keep it clean by eating healthy, whole foods that contain plenty of nutrients to give you the energy you need to burn fat and build muscle effectively while boosting your metabolism. Protein, healthy fats, and fiber will keep you full longer and help you build lean muscle.

Listen to your body and do what works for you. Don’t assume that you have to follow the most ripped bodybuilder or trainer you see. You don’t have to lift or bench a million pounds or join Crossfit to get fit and healthy.

Fitness is personal, so try different things to build your power, strength, and balance. You can start with quick and easy routines that use bodyweight / no weights and are low impact, then gradually build up to more intense routines that incorporate weight lifting and even cardio HIIT with weights.

Ultimately, you have to experiment by combining many elements into a fitness blender and eventually you will tone it up and slim it down, sculpting your best body ever while living a healthier, happier life!

    The workout is great most of the time but what I don’t like is how fast she does for the stretching is too fast!! My body doesn’t like it! Lol

    Could you guide me to more videos in order to get rid of lower belly i have had csection and I am 42. I have a bad pooch. I m doing very regular with exercise routine but my lower abdomen looks bad 🙁

    I have been incorporating this workout into my weekly routine of running and weights since April. I have gained so much flexibility in my knees especially due to the courtesy lunge, I have had knee surgery due to a MVA and years of running in bad shoes so this improvement has brought me happiness! My balance has improved and so has my running with this and others by Christine. I have learned how to do so many new abdominal and glute exercises that I do on their own. A full body workout hitting all of the major muscle groups in the upper body, and using static lunges as a staple to target the entire lower body with some RDLs for more hamstring specific! Finishing with an absolute abdominal burnout!

The timer will be on for 60 seconds per exercise with 20 seconds rest in between!

All you will need is a pair of dumbbells and your mat!

The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 17.5kg for most of the workout! I will reduce to 9kg each for shoulder press and holding during abs section!

These are straight forward compound movements with full range movement and standard tempo to allow you to perhaps lift that little bit heavier compared to if consisting of isometrics, tempo or partial reps!

The biceps are worked within the rows and triceps during chest press & shoulder press! There are no specific arms exercises due to this and compound movements such as chest press and rows recruit a lot more muscles over isolation so perfect for shorter workouts!

We finish with some ab specific exercises! Let’s focus on really holding that crunch during the leg lowers, pushing the lower back well into the mat and during toe reaches, how high can you crunch and reach whilst controlling the lowering back to mat? 😁

Perfect workout when you want a full body resistance workout in 30 minutes!

What are Kegel exercises?
Kegel exercises are also called pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) exercises. They target the muscles of your pelvic floor, also known as your (PC) muscles.

Both men and women have PC muscles. They provide support to your pelvic organs, including your urethra, bladder, and bowel. They help hold your organs in place, promoting good bladder control and sexual function.

What happens to your PC muscles over time?
When you’re young, your PC muscles are typically taut and strong. As you age, they can become weakened and stretched. They can also become too weak or loose as a result of pregnancy or childbirth, surgery for prostate cancer, bladder or bowel problems, or other factors.

This can negatively affect your bladder control and sex life. But just as you can strengthen your arm or leg muscles through regular workouts, you can strengthen your PC muscles with Kegel exercises.
