Netflix Serves Up a 91% RT Historical Drama for ‘Bridgerton’ Fans
Regency romance isn’t the only corset-tightened comfort Netflix viewers are binging right now. With Bridgerton surging again after Season 4 Part 2 dropped on February 26, Netflix’s tea-and-scandal lane is clearly hot. It marks the kind of moment where audiences start hunting for another polished period fix that delivers class politics, forbidden desire, and social disasters that hit like plot grenades — at least until Bridgerton Season 5 makes it home.
That’s where this incoming title lands perfectly: it’s a full, self-contained two-hour continuation (not a season-long commitment) built around the same addictive ingredients. There’s a reputation on the line, a powerful household navigating changing times, and a central heroine (Michelle Dockery) forced to take control when the world starts judging louder than the family can whisper. It also comes with final chapter energy: the sequel was designed to feel like closure while still letting the characters flex their best traits one last time.
The movie is Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale (2025), and it’s scheduled to arrive on Netflix US on March 7, 2026. It runs about two hours and jumps the story into the 1930s, with Lady Mary facing a public scandal as the Crawleys confront financial strain and a rapidly modernizing world. If Bridgerton is your guilty pleasure, this is your classy chaser. Before Netflix, Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale was exclusively available to stream on Peacock.
How Do ‘Downton Abbey’ and ‘Bridgerton’ Differ From Each Other
Bridgerton and Downton Abbey both deliver lavish costumes and romantic stakes, but they scratch different itches. Bridgerton is a glossy, modernized fantasy of Regency society with fast pacing, heightened drama, bold music cues, and romance as the engine. It’s built to feel like a bingeable soap with prestige dressing. Downton Abbey is slower, warmer, and more grounded: it’s about the whole household (aristocrats and staff), with class change, duty, and family continuity taking priority over steamy scandal.
If you love Bridgerton mainly for the heat and melodrama, Downton may feel restrained. But if you love the social rules, shifting power dynamics, witty etiquette warfare, and long-term character investment, Downton is an easy yes. It’d be less spicy, more satisfying. Regardless, jumping straight into Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale would feel a little off in both taste and pacing. It does work as a stand-alone watch, but the franchise is best experienced in order: the series first, then the films.
Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale is now available to stream on Netflix. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

Jack Harlow Reveals Career Move That Made Him ‘Blacker’
Jack Harlow is giving an inside look into the process behind his new album, but not without some controversial takes.
The rapper revealed that he may have switched races in his mind to help him attain the right creative height to explore a new area for his sound and birth his latest project, “Monica.”
Jack Harlow released his fourth studio album on March 13th on his 28th birthday, four years after he broke the internet and charts with the release of his hit single “First Class.”
Jack Harlow Unveils The Mystery Of Transitioning Between Music Genres

The 28-year-old admitted that he got blacker by exploring the R&B genre, years after he broke out as a rapper. He revealed this on the New York Times podcast when he was asked if he consciously made the decision to go deeper into “blackness” with his new project.
The rapper admitted that he did get blacker with his music, and he has always enjoyed the sound of “Black music.” The podcast hosts compared Harlow to some white artists who leave rap and pivot into traditionally white sounds.
Harlow explained that he is fully aware of the politics of today and understands why a lot of his colleagues who are white found a safer spot getting out of rap and going into a different direction. As reported by TMZ, the rapper stated that going in an entirely different direction with his work even made it more satisfying, and going R&B with “Monica” was very intentional.
The Rapper’s Newly Released Studio Album

Harlow brought his vision for “Monica” to life at the Electric Lady Studios in New York City, after he moved to the city from his Kentucky home. As stated by Billboard, Harlow’s new joint featured efforts from producers such as Aksel Arvid, Jermaine Paul, Clay Harlow, Angel “BabeTruth” Lopez, and Hollywood Cole.
More creatives like Robert Glasper, Ravyn Lenae, Omar Apollo, and rising hometown R&B artist James Savage also made their contributions to the project. Harlow’s latest album comes after his third studio album “Jackman’ peaked at No. 8 on Billboard 200 in 2023 and snatched the apex spot on Billboard’s Top Rap Albums chart.
Harlow’s 2020 hit track “What’s Poppin” landed at No. 2 on Billboard Hot 100 and became his first Diamond-certified record by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in 2025. The rapper’s latest album homes nine tracks, and represents a massive shift from releasing one single last March.
Jack Harlow Addressed Exploring The Acting Side Of His Career In 2023

The musician debuted as an actor in a sports-centered project, “White Men Can’t Jump,” in 2023. The Blast noted that Harlow touched on the complex side of becoming an actor after spending years as the soul behind the microphone in a studio.
“Through this film, I was able to gain my confidence as an actor, and to me, this sh-t is not a side quest. This isn’t a side mission I’m taking on to keep the entertainer thing going and make some extra money,” the rapper declared.
He revealed that he felt a deep passion for acting, the same as he did for music, and while he feels acting is a much more difficult terrain than music, he would not deny the freedom that came from it, which is very different from making music in the studio.
Harlow confessed that he felt a slight constraint to going all the way with hip-hop due to the tradition involved and his being a guest in the field. The rapper’s first stint at acting was during an appearance on “Saturday Night Live” in 2021.
The ‘Industry Baby’ Hitmaker Voiced His Admiration For Dua Lipa

Harlow sparked dating speculations with Lipa after he named a song after her on his 2022 album, and he did not shy away from admitting that he admired the pop star. As stated by The Blast, he declared on the track that he would be very interested in doing more than just a feature with Lipa if the opportunity surfaced.
Luck finally fell on Harlow when he met up with Lipa in November 2022 at the Variety Hitmakers Brunch in Los Angeles. The following month, they were spotted separately walking in and out of the same restaurant within minutes of each other.
According to an insider, Harlow had jetted out to New York City the day before to meet Lipa after her performance at the Z100 Jingle Ball. Another source added that Lipa also felt the same way about Harlow and might be on the page as him when it came to pursuing things romantically.
Jack Harlow On His Wild Sexual Encounters

Four years ago, the rapper revealed he lost his virginity, not once but twice, and when he had sex at 18, he was reminded that he had no prior experience with sex. He first shared that he lost his virginity at 16, and his understanding of sex changed when he started seeing someone older.
He recalled the lady being about six years older than him, and it blew his mind as she taught him so much about sex, even though he was far from ignorant on the topic. The rapper saw their first act of intimacy as such a pivotal moment for him, and it was significant enough for him to see it as losing his virginity for the second time.
Harlow identified more perks in the relationship aside from the sex, which included the lady coming to support him during his indoor soccer games and driving the team home after the matches. The rapper admitted that he was beyond proud to admit to everyone that they had sex when she sat there watching him play.
Will Jack Harlow’s latest album do the magic on the charts?

William Shatner Recovering From Surgery After Brutal Accident
By Jennifer Asencio
| Published

Captain Kirk is unfortunately not invulnerable, no matter how much he seems like he is on-screen. William Shatner announced recently at the Saturn Awards that he was facing surgery on his shoulder. The surgery took place on March 11, 2026.
At 94, Shatner is still very active outdoors. The surgery was scheduled to fix his shoulder due to a serious injury he received after falling from a horse last year.
This wasn’t just a leisurely horseback stroll on a trail. Shatner said that the horse was trained for equine skills. This was an animal bred to compete, run fast, and slide to a halt. The horse that he owned drifted a little too far, and she was going so fast that he was thrown from his saddle, his shoulder breaking the fall.
Set Phasers To Recovery

A lifetime in Hollywood playing the captain of the most important and famous vessel in Starfleet prepared him for an active life on Earth. Age and gravity conspired against him in his attempt to roll to mitigate the impact of the fall. Alas, at 94 the body handles impacts less gracefully, and he seriously injured his shoulder. He described the whole situation and surgery by saying, “You put the ball in the socket and the socket in the thing, and you come out 10 hours later, and you’re pain-free.
This surgery was to correct an injury that happened in late 2025, and wouldn’t have taken place if Shatner had been too unhealthy to have it. He has since displayed his positive attitude and wry humor on social media, posting on X that “It was a routine procedure. I’m so well that tomorrow I’ll be in Cleveland at a convention.”
One Tough Captain

Audiences may have bad flashbacks of when Christopher Reeve, who played Superman in 1978, was thrown from a horse in 1995 and subsequently paralyzed. He later died in 2004 from conditions related to sepsis, but not before becoming an advocate for the severely disabled. A true fighter, he continued his acting career despite his condition, including starring in a remake of Alfred Hitchcock’s Rear Window, a film that is about a disabled man who witnesses a murder out his window, and an episode of Smallville.
It would have been devastating if William Shatner had experienced the same degree of injury, especially at his age. We could have lost a national treasure. Thankfully, signs point to the former Enterprise captain recovering from his surgery and giving us just a little more time to enjoy his company.

Guy Ritchie’s Hit Crime Saga Surges Again as Season 2 Looms
Guy Ritchie has developed his own unique niche in television. The British multihyphenate is known for witty, fast-paced dramas that keep viewers engaged from the moment they press play until credits roll. Ritchie usually focuses on action-heavy shows and movies, giving them his signature once he’s done. The writer-director has been courted by every streaming service, from Netflix to Prime Video and Paramount+. For the latter, he executive-produced the gritty crime thriller MobLand, which, despite lacking those Guy Ritchie qualities, still feels like one of his best works yet. MobLand enlists some of the best British acting talent to bring a truly deranged crime tale to life.
It’s been over six months since fans saw a new episode of MobLand, but that doesn’t mean that the show has escaped television’s consciousness. Data from FlixPatrol shows that the show is back on Paramount+’s streaming chart after several weeks of absence. This return coincides with the release of Ritchie’s latest project, Young Sherlock. The Prime Video drama has become a streaming sensation as fans of the iconic detective watch a younger Guy Ritichiefied version of the character. Young Sherlock is the number one TV show on Prime Video globally, which might have inspired first-time viewers to check out another one of Ritchie’s projects. The timing could not be more perfect because another season of MobLand is coming soon, and it’s bigger than the first.

What’s the Status of ‘MobLand’ Season 2?
Filming for MobLand Season 2 is ongoing. The series has expanded its scope beyond London, with some cast members spotted filming in Spain. However, London remains at the heart of the show as Harry Da Souza continues to fix everyone’s problems while hiding his own. The MobLand Season 1 finale flipped the character’s dynamics and alliances shifted, setting Season 2 on an even more explosive path. Series actor Emmett J. Scanlan explained Season 2’s scale in an interview with Hello Magazine, saying
“If you liked Season 1, penned incredibly by Jez Butterworth, then Season 2 is Season 1 on steroids! It is insane, it’s bananas. I loved Season 1, I loved reading it and getting lost in that world. I think Season 2 is even better. The scripts are fantastic.”
MobLand was created by Ronan Bennett, with Butterworth serving as director. Ritchie directed some episodes of Season 1. Pierce Brosnan (Conrad), Helen Mirren (Maeve), Mandeep Dhillon (Seraphina), Paddy Considine (Kevin), Daniel Beets (Brendan), and Anson Boon (Eddie) portray the unhinged Harrigan family that Harry works for. Other cast members include Joanne Froggatt as Jan, Harry’s wife, and Teddie Allen as Gina, Harry’s daughter.
All episodes of MobLand Season 1 are streaming on Paramount+. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates.

General Hospital TWIST: Jason Abducted in Crisis – Does Joss Kill Cullum in Desperate Rescue?!?
General Hospital reveals Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is ready to disappear with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), but their plans may be intercepted or interrupted by WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).
Our leaker says Jason’s going to be kidnapped and I suspect it comes while he’s gone with Britt or maybe even sooner. We’re going to talk about how Cullum may kidnap Jason and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) gets involved to stop the bad guy once and for all.
Britt and Jason Plan to Disappear on General Hospital
So, we’ve got Cullum getting super aggressive right now. Recently, he ran into Britt at Bobbie’s and he pulled her outside to torment her. Cullum told Britt he was pleased that she’s on schedule with Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project.
But then, Cullum dropped the hammer and he said Britt needs to keep up that pace or Cullum is going to cut off her meds and make sure that Britt rots in Steinmauer for the rest of her very short and miserable life. This guy is charming. Am I right?
So, Cullum terrified her and of course Britt went running to Jason and told him she only has a day or two to finish the project and she really doesn’t want to finish it. It sounds like it’s going to be a weapon, you know.
Britt told Jason that it’s either finish it or it’s time to disappear. And he told Britt they need to get her medication first and she said Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) is on it. And then that was when Britt texted Lucas to meet her and Jason.
Lucas Determined to Help Britt on GH
And Lucas showed up and said Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) knows where her meds are being kept and he’s trying to get into the safe when nobody’s around. But Lucas did promise they will get Britt’s meds to her. And then Jason said the arrangements have been made and he and Britt are ready to disappear.
They’re planning to go to Canada where there’s some kind of small farmhouse off the grid. It’s quiet. It’s secure. And the thing is though, they need the meds because then Brick (Stephen A. Smith) is going to meet them up there, pick up the medication sample, and then he’s going to go and get Britt’s meds reverse engineered.
And of course, she is worried because she knows Cullum is going to use every resource at his disposal to track them down, which would be, you know, all the WSB resources. But Jason promised Britt that he’ll make sure Cullum will not find them.
Jason & Britt Ready to Take Off
So, this week, Jason and Britt are saying their goodbyes and they’re getting ready to take off, but I feel like Cullum knows they’re going to run. I feel like he has eyes and ears on Britt.
And just as an aside, I mean, Jason’s bailing on Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) yet again. Come on. Jason basically told Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) to take care of Danny and then he’s just leaving town.
We reported a leak about Jason changing his will before he leaves town. And then bam, he was there talking to Michael about that same thing. So, that was kind of interesting. And we’ll see what Jason says to Danny before leaving town.
Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) said to tell him the truth. I know this is all to facilitate Steve Burton’s leave of absence, but they’re just making Jason into such a deadbeat dad.
Will Cullum Kidnap Jason to Force Britt’s Compliance on General Hospital?
And our leaker also told us that it was going to be Cullum who would kidnap Jason to set up for when Steve Burton takes that three-month break off of General Hospital. And of course, the actor is already gone. We’re just now counting down the episodes until the character is gone.
And I suspect that Josslyn Jacks is going to get deeper involved in all of this. So, I think that Cullum is going to snatch up Jason to force Britt to complete the project. Cullum wants to take all hope away from her. So, Britt knows she has no choice but to comply or else Cullum will kill Jason and then let Britt die a horrible, horrible death from Huntington’s.
And of course Britt would be devastated if Cullum does this. But it also makes perfect sense because Jason’s absence has to be explained since Steve Burton is off of our screens by the end of the month. And we know that Britt isn’t going to be offscreen with him.
So, it’s not like Jason and Britt are leaving and they’re both going to be gone for two or three months hiding out. It’s not going to go that way. So, of course, if Cullum kidnaps Jason and stashes him, Britt must complete the project to save him.
And I kind of doubt that Cullum’s going to stash Jason at Wyndemere down in the catacombs or anything like that because that’s where Britt is working and they probably wouldn’t want to risk her being able to set Jason free.
So I suspect Cullum’s going to lock Jason up somewhere else entirely. He could toss him in a dark cell in Steinmauer and just leave him there.
Josslyn Goes After Cullum to Protect Carly and Jason
So, at the same time, we’ve got Josslyn, and she knows what a threat that Cullum is to her mom, Carly. And if the WSB creep kidnaps Jason, I think Josslyn is going to ignore Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) orders.
He told Josslyn, “Go back to playing college student.” She doesn’t agree. She wants Carly protected. And I think that Josslyn is going to go after Cullum with all that she’s got and maybe drop the bomb on the WSB director that no, she’s not some ditzy party girl.
Josslyn is a WSB agent and she knows Cullum is corrupt and a double agent. You know, Josslyn can threaten to expose him. Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) is a reporter after all. And we’re seeing Josslyn kind of coming into her own with this WSB thing and she’s pretty badass.
Joss Has Turned into a Badass WSB Agent
I have to say I don’t hate it. You know, she pistol whipped Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), did not hesitate, took him down, tied him up, and Josslyn was very clear with Carly. She was the one who chose to join the WSB.
She wants to make a difference in this world. Josslyn wants to take down Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and people like him, bad guys, as she says. And Cullum is definitely a bad guy. So, if Josslyn can protect Carly and Jason and Britt and Lucas and everybody else in Port Charles from Cullum, well, you bet that she’s going to do it.
And we already know Josslyn has no qualms about killing bad guys. Even before she joined the WSB, she killed Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). She did it in Croatia with Vaughn (Bryce Durfee). So, I think she’ll have no problem taking out Cullum. Probably won’t lose any sleep over it.
Josslyn May Be Injured Saving Jason on GH
But Josslyn might wind up injured in the bid to save Jason. And while she’s trying to get rid of Cullum once and for all. We reported another leak recently saying Eden McCoy has rumored to have not renewed her contract at General Hospital.
We heard they are going to be recasting the role of Josslyn. And of course, that is not confirmed yet. But if she is injured, saving Jason from Cullum, that would be an easy way to swap actresses if Eden is leaving.
And honestly, even if there is no Josslyn swap, I feel certain she’ll get involved when Jason goes missing. If I were Cullum, I would wait until Jason and Britt leave town and get up into Canada because that way Cullum can snatch Jason when everybody already thinks that he’ll be gone a while.
General Hospital: Britt Back to Work to Save Jason’s Life
And then Cullum can stuff Britt down in the lab below Wyndemere because everybody thinks she’s also gone. So, Jason can be dumped in Steinmauer or wherever. Britt can be dumped in the lab and then everything happens that Cullum wants.
But I want to see a reckoning with Josslyn coming out of this as a badass hero. I want her to take Cullum down. And after all, she owes Britt for saving her life from hook killer Heather Webber (Alley Mills).
So this could actually be a situation where Josslyn could make that up to Britt. Plus, if Josslyn takes Cullum down, maybe Carly will back off and acknowledge that it’s up to Josslyn if she wants to continue her career at the WSB because she’s proved she can handle it and she can handle herself.

Bold and the Beautiful: Ivy’s Rage Spirals Out of Control – Sabotages Dylan Leading to Major Forrester Creations Firing?!?
Bold and the Beautiful excites as Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) is on fire and she wants to make sure that Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) doesn’t get back with Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) at all cost. And soon Ivy finds out Dylan (Sydney Bullock) was hired at the company. And I suspect that Ivy is going to go absolutely ballistic.
I want to talk about how Ivy may sabotage Dylan to try and get her fired from Forrester Creations. But if Ivy does this, I think it may blow up in her face.
Bold and the Beautiful: Ivy Goes Off the Rails over Dylan News
So Electra’s little tantrum, I don’t think will be anything compared to how Ivy’s going to react when she hears that Dylan is Forrester Creations’ latest hire. She’s going to go ballistic. Electra told Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that Dylan is not what’s best for Forrester, not by a long shot, and was pleading with Steffy not to hire Dylan.
And Steffy told Electra, you know, you’re talking about what’s best for you, not the business. And told her she needed to suck it up and move on. Maybe Electra could learn something about not getting involved in a workplace romance from this whole thing. Steffy said that Electra has to put her personal issues with Dylan aside and just do her job.
So, Electra said she’ll try to accept it, but I’ll tell you who is not going to accept it, and that is Ivy. I expect her to go absolutely nuclear on everybody. On Steffy and Dylan and Will and maybe some others. I think Ivy is going to rant about it not being proper. Not at all, you know.
Ivy Will Confront Steffy and Demand Dylan Be Fired on B&B
So, let’s talk about what she will do from here. The first thing I see happening is I think Ivy is going to go and confront Steffy and demand that she rescinds the job offer and fire Dylan before she even starts. I think Ivy will find it absolutely preposterous and tell Steffy she can’t believe that she’s going to force Electra to work with Dylan.
The woman who in Ivy’s, you know, exaggerated extra brain stole Electra’s boyfriend. But I expect Steffy to do her signature smirk and the one eyebrow lift and tell Ivy to get a grip. This is business and she and Electra need to show some professionalism. I also expect Ivy may rage at Steffy for telling Electra to suck it up.
I think Ivy’s going to be very protective of Electra on this issue like she is about everything else. She’s like a helicopter aunt, but I expect Ivy may fight Steffy on this and act out. And we all know Steffy’s already not a fan of Ivy, so I don’t think that would go over well.
Ivy May Threaten and Bully Dylan at Work
Another thing I suspect Ivy may do is that she may approach Dylan at work at Forrester. And I could see Ivy telling Dylan she doesn’t belong there. She needs to do what Ivy told her before and leave LA now. I could see Ivy telling Dylan, “Get out of Forrester Creations. It’s where Electra works. Her family owns it and Dylan has to go.” You know, some kind of ultimatum on Bold and the Beautiful.
And if Ivy tries bullying Dylan at work, I suspect Will will hear, he could overhear or he might hear it from Dylan. I think he would stand up to Ivy because bottom line, Will cannot stand Electra’s aunt. And if Will defends Dylan, you know that Ivy will go even more unhinged on Will because she hates him and she’s got this whole imaginary thing in her head about him being inappropriate, you know.
And if Ivy tries bullying Dylan on the job, I could see Will going to tell Steffy about it and tell her that Ivy is acting horribly, that she’s being unprofessional, that she’s bullying Dylan and being ugly to him. Steffy may put her foot down and tell Ivy if she’s going to act like this that she’s got to go.
Ivy May Accuse Dylan of Stealing on Bold and the Beautiful
All right. Next. Remember, Steffy told Dylan that she can wear clothes provided by Forrester Creations at her new job because Dylan wanted the job, but she told Steffy she doesn’t have clothing that’s nice enough to be up to fashion house standards. So, Ivy might see Dylan in the lending closet choosing some outfits and freak out. And Ivy may accuse her of stealing.
And of course, Steffy told Dylan that she would have clothing to choose from. But you know how Ivy, her main exercise is jumping to conclusions. She’d assume the worst and she might drag Dylan into the CEO office and say that she’s a thief and was stealing company property.
And of course, that wouldn’t work because Steffy told Dylan she’s more than welcome to wear Forrester clothing. And Ivy would end up looking ridiculous and like a bully, which if we’re being real, she is. I don’t like this version of Ivy. I don’t like the way Brad Bell’s writing her right now. She’s never been like this before until Brad Bell just decided to do this.

Ivy May Plant Jewelry to Frame Dylan
So from there, Ivy may escalate. She may plant jewelry in Dylan’s bag and then try and accuse her of theft. I just remember that Electra mentioned to RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) how much some of those pieces are worth and the priciest ones are kept in a safe.
And if you remember, Ivy dropped a gemstone in the runway room as an excuse to send RJ in there to spend time with Electra. So, I just worry that Ivy might use her own access to all those precious diamonds and gems and gold to try and set up Dylan to make her look bad, to take a fall, to get her out of there, to get her away from Electra.
So, we might even have Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) back for that because Ivy may want to bypass Steffy and report Dylan to security. But I suspect Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) would get involved and tell Steffy that Ivy is the one who’s been spotted taking things that don’t belong to her, not Dylan.
Because at that point, Daphne would probably tell Steffy about the letter that Ivy stole from Electra that she’d left for Will and that Ivy was making threats at Daphne. You know, she is Steffy’s bestie. And of course, Daphne’s very trustworthy. So, I think Steffy would absolutely believe whatever Daphne said over anything Ivy said and would confront her about it.
Ivy May Catch Will and Dylan Kissing at Work
The last thing we may see since we’ve got Will and Dylan heating up, they may sneak a kiss at work. And if Ivy sees, I’m sure she would go into a shrieking fit about it being improper and inappropriate and, you know, chew them out for breaking Electra’s heart and then tormenting her at work when, as we know, Ivy is the one who tormented Electra.
Ivy’s the bad guy in all of this. But I’m sure if she has the chance that she’ll make Dylan and Will to look like the bad guys. Electra was a little unhinged about Dylan. But Ivy is next level and she is manipulating everything. So bottom line, when Ivy hears about Dylan’s new job at Forrester Creations, she’s going to lose it.
And I’m sure that Ivy will be the first person that Electra runs to and she’ll tell her this and set her off. Ivy is going to lose her whole entire mind over this. I don’t even know what fictional world she’s living in. You know, what she saw, she threw way out of proportion. I think she was pretty much lying about what she saw.
And it’s just a shame because Electra didn’t even give Will a chance to speak and then that opened the door for Ivy to manipulate all of this. But if she does try to sabotage Dylan at work, I think it’ll backfire and it could actually set the stage for Ashleigh Brewer’s exit as Ivy, which should be coming in the next few weeks when her maternity leave kicks off because she is big pregnant with her first baby. And congratulations to Ashleigh Brewer.

Doomsday’ Is Making Its Massive Call Sheet Worth It [Exclusive]
For a movie as secretive as Avengers: Doomsday, even the smallest comments can feel like a major clue. That is especially true when the person talking is Lewis Pullman, whose MCU future has suddenly become a lot more important after Thunderbolts* introduced him as one of Marvel’s most unpredictable new players. Now, based on Pullman’s latest comments, Doomsday sounds exactly as enormous as fans were hoping.
Speaking to Collider’s Steve Weintraub during an interview about Wishful Thinking at SXSW, Pullman was asked what he could tease about making Avengers: Doomsday with Joe and Anthony Russo. His answer was less about plot and more about the atmosphere on set, but it still painted a pretty exciting picture. He told Collider:
“I can tease that the way that the Russos work is kind of strangely similar to how this really small movie works. They have not lost their creative source by any means. Those guys are in this same kind of style, like family style, very incorporating of everybody. They trust all the actors’ knowledge of their character, and so they give that freedom, and they’re also very beautifully gentle leaders. They are gently creating this corral of structure for you to live in.”
Strap on Your Hockey Masks; It’s Friday the 13th — The Collider Movie Quiz!
Because today is Friday the 13th, let’s march our way through the iconic slasher franchise. Ch-ch-ch-ch. Ha-ha-ha-ha.
What Can Fans Expect From ‘Avengers: Doomsday’?
Pullman then addressed the cast size directly, and honestly, his wording sounds a lot like what fans have already been thinking from the outside: “And I think that it’s one of the craziest stacked casts I’ve ever heard of. I don’t think there’s been a movie with that many all-time stars in it, and I was just lucky to be able to sit in the corner and have a couple of lines in there.” That may be Pullman being modest, but it also lines up with just how absurdly crowded the movie’s ensemble already looks. Any time the movie is reported on, the first comments also go straight to the sheer scale of the lineup, with Marvel folding together the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, the Wakandans, the Thunderbolts, and several legacy X-Men characters for the film.
The more interesting tease came when he was pressed not about the Russos, but about the actual movie itself. Pullman kept the details vague, but the broad promise was exactly the kind of thing Marvel fans want to hear. He said:
“I can say that as a fan, it’s a fan’s dream movie because every character that is in it has crucial, integral developments that are really exciting. Nobody is kept on ice and is just there to be there. Everyone is there for a reason and their own very individual reason, and it’s really exciting.”
We can’t wait. Avengers: Doomsday will open in theaters on December 18, 2026.

Keke Palmer Has Priceless Reaction To Surprise Proposal
Y’all! It’s safe to say Keke Palmer did not see this moment coming. The actress found herself in an unexpected situation while on stage at a major event this week — and the crowd (plus her fellow stars) were just as shocked as she was.

Keke Gets Surprise Proposal Mid-Panel
During a panel at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, a man in the audience appeared to get down on one knee and propose to Keke while she was speaking. In clips now circulating online, the actress can be seen looking down toward the stage edge as the man holds up a ring box. Clearly caught off guard, Palmer responded politely but firmly, saying, “I can’t marry you, I don’t know you. I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry, sir.” She even turned to the audience, asking, “Is this a prank?” as gasps and laughter echoed from both the crowd and the stage.
Keke Keeps Cool Amid Surprise Chaos
The surprising moment happened during a live promotional panel for Palmer’s new film ‘I Love Boosters,’ where she appeared alongside co-stars Demi Moore, Naomi Ackie, and Eiza González — all of whom looked visibly stunned by the interruption. According to attendees, the man had reportedly been acting “weird” throughout the event, and the unexpected proposal only added to the awkward energy in the room. Despite the moment catching everyone off guard, Palmer handled it with grace before the panel continued on.
The Internet Isn’t Playin’ Behind Keeks
Fans immediately stormed TSR’s Instagram comment section and had a full-on field day over the moment. Some were side-eyeing security, wondering how a man could get that close, while others couldn’t stop talking about Keke Palmer’s priceless reaction. And of course, you already know—plenty of jokes slid in, while others were just asking when a delulu man like that might come for them.
One Instagram user @jourdddan said, “Ummm where was the security?!? 🗣️🗣️🗣️ They should’ve been up there ASAP“
This Instagram user @abovebrasialove added, “😂😂you can’t make this up“
And, Instagram user @uniqueleya commented, “Embarrassing af 😂 like why would u do that sir 😂😂😂”
Meanwhile, Instagram user @babyygirl_jaylee shared, “Aye you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.“
While Instagram user @kweensteph86 wrote, “They took WAYYYYY to freaking long to get to him. Where was security, that’s crazy.“
Finally, Instagram user @versatile44youu added, “Awww I wish someone would do that to me 😚”

R-Rated Sci-Fi Sequel So Awful, It Nearly Killed Legendary Franchise
By TeeJay Small
| Published

Like many film fans, I grew up watching the first two Alien movies. I fondly recall catching them on cable, HBO, and DVD over the years in various bits and pieces. Last year, my friend and I sat down with a mission to catch up on all the Alien movies, since we legitimately couldn’t recall whether we’d seen Alien 3, Alien: Resurrection, or either of the prequel films. And while it was a lot of fun running through Alien and Aliens as an adult with a fully formed prefrontal cortex, I think the third movie genuinely caused me psychic damage.
Immediately Undermines Its Own Legacy

Alien 3 picks up right where Aliens left off, with Sigourney Weaver‘s Ripley resting safely in a cryopod alongside Corporal Hicks (Michael Biehn) of the Colonial Marines, and Newt (Danielle Edmond), a little girl that the duo rescued from planet LV-426. Through a series of extremely jarring and unpleasant editing choices, we see that an enormous alien egg was actually resting in the middle of the ship the entire time, as a facehugger emerges to cause chaos.
Let’s ignore the fact that the Xenomorph queen absolutely did not lay an egg inside the ship during the final moments of Aliens, and instead focus on the absolute smack in the face that is this opening scene. Cpl. Hicks and Newt are brutally killed in stasis, and the ship is knocked off course by a pair of the most competent facehuggers of all time. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a sequel so blatantly disrespect the end of the film that came before it, but saving Newt was kind of a big deal, so we’re kicking things off with one hell of a sour impression.

As the lone survivor of the massacre, Ripley wakes up on a planet known as Fiorina “Fury” 161. This place is a maximum security correctional facility loaded with inmates who have committed heinous violent crimes including the assault of minors. Over the course of Alien 3, many of these characters are meant to be redeemed by helping Ripley to fight off the Xenomorph.
Here’s a note for any and all screenwriters in the future: there is absolutely no way you could ever make me root for any character within hours of revealing that they are violent and repeat offenders. I genuinely think everyone involved in making this movie needs to be placed on a watchlist of some sort.
Ripley Was Done Dirty
While exploring the prison, Ripley meets with the planet’s chief medical officer, played by an unusually awkward Charles Dance. The doctor, Clemens, repeatedly refuses to explain what horrible crimes he’s committed to end up on this planet, which gives the impression that it’s something worse than child abuse. Spoiler alert: He got hooked on prescription drugs while working as a surgeon and once accidentally killed a patient on the table. I’m not sure why that character flaw is seen as too horrific to admit, as Clemens so cavalierly explains that every single other man in the movie is a Jeffrey Epstein-level monster.

Then, as if to drive home the point that these characters are genuine animals and not just misunderstood victims of an unjust legal system, a group of men corner Ripley and attempt to tear her clothes off. This scene is accompanied by a heavy metal score that sounds like it belongs in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2, which makes the assault equal parts horrifying and unintentionally laugh-out-loud hilarious.
Luckily, one of the criminals steps in to reveal that he has a heart of gold, and rescues Ripley from the other attackers. Because after two movies of mowing down Xenomorphs with machine guns, escape pods, flamethrowers and mech suits, Alien 3 decides that Ripley is little more than a damsel in distress, desperately in need of a male handler to keep her alive.
The Dog Version And The Ox Version Do The Franchise No Favors
After narrowly avoiding a violent assault, Ripley decides for the very first time in the entire franchise that she’s super horny, and hooks up with Charles Dance, while he struggles to find anything of value to add to the movie. Failing to find something, he’s immediately killed by the Xenomorph, right after he finishes delivering a monologue about his pointless backstory.

Speaking of the Xenomorph, this thing is a mess. Unlike the previous unstoppable killing machines highlighted in the first two films, this Xenomorph is a hybrid that sprang forth from the chest of a dog (or an ox, depending on which cut of the movie you’re watching.) As a result of its quadrupedal nature, the alien navigates on all fours, and only sometimes knows how to open doors.
While I admire the puppeteering and VFX that went into bringing this creature to life, it fails to come together in the final cut. The result is an alien that looks like she’s shaking her booty with each step, complete with a green hue surrounding her perimeter, because the reflection from the green screen wasn’t properly keyed out.
A Pitiful Redemption Arc Attempt
45 minutes into this boring, unlikable adventure, Alien 3 decides to do one interesting thing, and reveals that Ripley is pregnant with a Xenomorph queen. This makes her effectively immune to attacks from the Doggo-morph, and puts her on course to enact a suicide mission so that the queen she’s carrying can’t wreak havoc on the entire known galaxy. She rallies the remaining freak-off frequenters, who suddenly agree to let a woman be their leader, and maps out a plan to blow the entire prison facility to smithereens.

At this point in the narrative, Alien 3 could almost serve as a so-bad-it’s-good movie, on par with classics like The Room or anything from Neil Breen‘s catalogue. Unfortunately, the final act is one of the sloppiest, most poorly-paced, obnoxiously shot, and outright boring things I’ve ever voluntarily watched. Ripley’s big plan involves sending prisoners to run up to the Xenomorph and tap it on the shoulder, then run away and slam doors in its face like they’re the Road Runner antagonizing Wile E. Coyote.
What follows is a seemingly endless sequence of identical bald British men running down identical hallways, apparently corralling the alien into an area of the facility that has not been choreographed to the audience in any meaningful way. I could recreate this entire scene by shaving my head and filming myself jogging through a single hallway in my apartment 65 times, but that would run the risk of being funny on purpose.

I lost count of how many times I checked the timestamp during this chase sequence, only to lament that I must be experiencing some form of Interstellar-style time dilution. It was as though I crash-landed on Miller’s planet, and every agonizing second of screen time was taking years to view. Towards the end of this chase, Ripley prepares to sacrifice herself, only for Dillon, the man who rescued her earlier in the film, to sacrifice himself on her behalf.
Maybe this is supposed to be the final redeeming moment for Dillon, where he gives his life to save a woman, in contrast to the multiple women he abused. But that doesn’t make any sense because Ripley has already made it extremely clear that she needs to die anyway. She then kills herself like five minutes later, so all Dillon really managed to do was take a triumphant moment from a strong woman and make it about himself one last time.

Alien 3 is handily the worst movie I have ever seen in my entire life. I would sooner remove my wisdom teeth, have them reinstalled, and remove them again without anesthetic than watch this movie a second time. If I go to your house and this movie is playing in the background, I might burn the building to the ground on my way out the door. Some sci-fi fans view Alien 3 as an overhated and misunderstood masterpiece, and I’m happy they have something to enjoy here. Still, I just don’t see anything appealing about this exhausting film, and I’m glad that it’s not currently streaming on any major service.
If you’re still interested in watching Alien 3, it is is currently available for on-demand rentals and purchases through YouTube, Fandango at Home, Apple TV+, and Amazon Prime Video.

Prime Video’s 2026 ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ Successor Isn’t Walking the Plank on Streaming
The fans love Anthony and Joe Russo’s work in the MCU, be it Chris Evans-led Captain America franchise that got grittier with each installment or the superhero mashup Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame that broke box office records. However, their work outside the MCU is yet to see a familiar fate. The duo has made films such as Tom Holland-led Cherry, The Gray Man starring Ryan Gosling and Evans, The Electric State, and series such as Citadel.
Seems like the brothers have finally found a win with their latest feature, The Bluff, starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Karl Urban. The swashbuckling feature directed by Frank E. Flowers has taken the global audiences by storm. It follows Ercell “Bloody Mary” Bodden (Chopra Jonas), who thought she had left her violent pirate life behind, finding peace in the Cayman Islands with her loving husband, T.H. (Ismael Cruz Cordova), their son, Isaac (Vedanten Naidoo), and her sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Safia Oakley-Green). Things take a turn when her notorious former captain, Connor (Urban), arrives seeking revenge. Now she is forced to confront the demons she’s tried to bury, thrusting her back into a deadly game of secrets and survival. Armed with lethal swordsmanship, cunning traps, and a fierce will to protect those she loves, she wages a brutal war against Connor’s merciless crew to save her family.
Urban is well known for his eccentric characters, especially his portrayal of Billy Butcher in The Boys, while Chopra Jonas-led Citadel, a high-octane action series, stars Richard Madden. So, when the two powerhouses came together on-screen, the audience got glued to their seats. The Bluff has managed to maintain its top spot on Amazon’s global top 10 since it first dropped. The feature is standing tall among titles like The Wrecking Crew starring Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista, Afterburn, The Fall Guy, and more.
Strap on Your Hockey Masks; It’s Friday the 13th — The Collider Movie Quiz!
Because today is Friday the 13th, let’s march our way through the iconic slasher franchise. Ch-ch-ch-ch. Ha-ha-ha-ha.
Where Will We See Priyanka Chopra Jonas Next?
While fans will see Urban in films and series like Mortal Kombat II and The Boys season 5 soon, Chopra Jonas will be next seen in RRR director SS Rajamouli’s historical epic Varanasi. While no details are available yet, the director previously teased Collider, “It’s not sci-fi. It feels like it’s a sci-fi film. It’s not. It’s a more fantasy, mythological-based film. And the antagonist, Kumbha, I’m always known for presenting my antagonist better than my protagonist. I love working with antagonists.”
Meanwhile, check out The Bluff on Prime Video now and stay tuned to Collider for more updates.
