Southern Hospitality's Joe, Maddi Reveal Who Was 'Upset' By Will's Exit

Joe Bradley and Maddi Reese got real about Southern Hospitality star Will Kulp’s exit, revealing who among the cast was most “upset” by his departure.

“I feel like you were upset because you wish that he was there to support Emmy [Sharrett] more,” Maddi told Joe, 30, while exclusively chatting with Us Weekly at BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas on Saturday, November 15.

Joe agreed, adding that he was “really upset” that Will, 30, exited the Bravo show ahead of season 4 and left his fiancee, Emmy, 27, to pick up the pieces.

However, when Joe spotted Will at BravoCon over the weekend, he was pleasantly surprised.

“Him being here when he doesn’t want to be here this weekend, and he could be studying or doing anything else, him supporting Emmy right now, I’m happy for them,” Joe explained. “We want them to be happy at the end of the day.”

Southern Hospitality star Maddi Reese wants to travel the world, but she’s considering staying in Charleston for boyfriend Joe Bradley. “I went to college [in] Charleston. I have been there for eight years. Sometimes I crave something more,” Maddi exclusively told Us Weekly while promoting season 3 of the Bravo series. She explained, “That’s why […]

Maddi, meanwhile, said Will not filming season 4 “in a way brought us closer to Emmy,” because she and Joe showed her “the most support” possible.

During season 3 of Southern Hospitality, Will was accused of cheating on Emmy while away at law school. Instead of addressing the rumors head-on, Will left Emmy to defend their relationship to their friends on camera, deciding not to attend the February reunion.

Emmy exclusively told Us at the time that she knew Will was “100 percent” faithful and the pair got engaged in May. Two months later, Will announced his departure from the reality show, saying he wished everyone the “best of luck.”

While some fans are upset they won’t see Will back on screen for the upcoming season, the majority of his former costars are happy with his choice to step back.

“I think that was probably a good decision for him,” TJ Dinch exclusively told Us at BravoCon. “I think, you know, he should probably focus on school, and that’s what’s important to him, and that’s OK.”

Bradley Carter agreed with TJ’s assessment, telling Us during the same Saturday interview in Las Vegas, “It’s good.”

He teased, “We have so much going on this summer that it really wasn’t like a topic too much. We weren’t really thinking about it. We were able to have fun and keep growing with the summer and, like, there’s enough going on.”

Molly Moore and Mia Alario, meanwhile, were happy to see Will go.

“It’s like, you know when the fly keeps swarming around you, and then it finally goes away,” Molly quipped during a joint interview with Mia, 27, on Saturday.

Mia chimed in, “And you open the door for it, and you’re like, ‘Please just get [out]!’” comparing Will to an annoying fly.

Molly joked, “And then you roll the window up, and you’re like [free]. That’s how we feel.”

While Emmy exclusively told Us at BravoCon that it was “refreshing” for Will to focus on law school and not the reality show, she didn’t appreciate Molly and Mia’s quips about his exit.

“It’s ironic of them to say that. I mean they kind of are like a fly on the wall, kind of buzzing around, being annoying constantly,” she clapped back. “But I mean, each to their own. I know I should be a little nicer, but I’m tired and feel kind of blunt right now.”

When asked whether things are “going well” with Molly and Mia, Emmy said, “Everything’s fine.”

She noted that they were all together the night before. “But, I mean, like, they’re petty and sassy, so I’ll be a little petty and sassy,” Emmy concluded.
