Telegraph Fantasy Football: Game Week 12 insights

Eze lights up North London derby

The eighth-highest-owned player in the game put non-owners on red alert with a hat-trick and 17 point return in Sunday’s early evening kick-off. The immediate fixtures don’t look so promising for the Gunners, but based on recent form it’d be wise to take notice of the ex-Palace midfielder.

Further Misery for the Champions

Last week’s picks would’ve let new suitors down after Liverpool succumbed to a 3-0 home defeat against Forest. Salah (£7.7m) likely only has three fixtures left before joining up with the Egyptian national team for AFCON, so owners will be looking at possible exit strategies for the pricey forward.

Howe finally over his Pep hoodoo

After 18 winless matches over the Spaniard, including 17 defeats, Eddie Howe finally got the victory over the 54-year-old that has alluded him for so long. Harvey Barnes (£4.4m) was the hero of the hour, notching a brace with his second and third strikes in two games.

Telegraph Fantasy Football Tips: Game Week 13

The Telegraph Fantasy Football player list has been analysed ahead of the upcoming games, and these look like the best players to transfer in:

1. Morgan Rogers (£3.8m)

After a breakout season in 2024-25, the midfielder found himself in many XIs at the start of the season. However, he has flattered to deceive this campaign until bursting onto the scene with a double against Leeds last weekend. It’s home comforts against bottom of the table Wolves next, where the 23-year-old can build on last week’s heroics.

2. Jérémy Doku (£4.4m)

Rested for their midweek tie in the Champions League, the in-form winger should be straight back in the team for the weekend visit of Leeds. ‘Pep roulette’ is a common concern for TFF managers, but there has been more trust shown in the Belgian this campaign and a prolonged period of starts for the foreseeable looks likely.

3. Neco Williams (£3.0m)

If looking at new defensive recruits, look no further than Sean Dyche’s marauding full-back. The Welsh international picked up a clean sheet, an assist and a 10 point return last weekend and looks primed for further returns in the coming weeks.
