Waspi women have expressed outrage at Labour over compensation, with many flocking to Reform UK.
A huge survey of almost 11,000 affected 1950s-born women shows a mere seven per cent back Labour, whole support for Reform UK has rocketed to 24 per cent, while support for the Conservatives stands at 13 per cent.
The polling, taken between December 11 and 20, showed 82 per cent of WASPI women believe Labour “does not care” about them, reports The Mirror.
Meanwhile, three quarters of affected women (74 per cent) said any decision on compensating WASPI women should now be taken away from ministers and handed directly to Parliament.

Asked how they voted in this year’s election, 30 per cent of the WASPI women polled said they backed Labour, with 18 per cent supporting the Tories and 15 per cent having voted for Reform UK.
Three quarters of affected women (74 per cent) said any decision on compensating WASPI women should now be taken away from ministers and handed directly to Parliament.
WASPI chair Angela Madden told The Mirror: “The findings show the stark electoral price of Labour’s betrayal of WAPSI women to ignore the findings of the independent Parliamentary Ombudsman.
“With overwhelming numbers of furious Labour MPs backing fair compensation for WASPI women, the Prime Minister must urgently change course and deliver on his previous commitments.”

It has been suggested up to 100 Labour MPs could vote against the government’s decision to reject compensation.
Former Shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott said there should have been an attempt to compromise with Waspi women who have campaigned over the Government’s failure to notify them of changes to the state pension age.
She said: “I am a Waspi woman, so I know that when they say they didn’t hear about it, they’re quite correct, I didn’t hear about it, I didn’t get a letter.

The Hackney North and Stoke Newington MP also criticised the new set of Labour peers, which includes partygate investigator turned Sir Keir Starmer’s chief of staff Sue Gray.
She told Times Radio: “I think the time is coming when we’re going to have to look again at how the Lords is selected, and how the Lords goes forward.
“It’s very hard to defend this set of peers who very much reflect who the leadership know and like.”
