New ‘CIA’ x ‘FBI’ Crossover Episode Goes Next-Level in Early Look at April 13 Release [Exclusive]

It’s no secret that FBI‘s latest spin-off, CIA, will more closely tie into the main series. Both are based out of New York, and the premiere episode saw none other than Jubal Valentine (Jeremy Sisto) introduce Nick Gehlfuss‘s by-the-books agent Bill Goodman into the joint operation between the two titular agencies. CBS has also worked to promote the two series as two sides of the same coin, united in their purpose to save people and stop threats before they get out of hand, but differing in their methods. For weeks now, they’ve been gearing up for their first big two-way crossover and, this coming Monday, April 13, it’s finally about to happen.

Collider is excited to share an exclusive sneak peek from CIA‘s upcoming seventh episode, “Elimination Game,” which will see Bill and his loose cannon CIA partner, Colin (Tom Ellis), on security duty at a high-profile international soccer game. However, everything quickly goes off the rails after a bomb threat, sending the pair on the trail of two missing players who are being hunted down. While they try to find the stars before it’s too late, the case continues to evolve and grow more complicated, necessitating some reinforcements from two agents with many years of experience under their belts — Special Agent in Charge Isobel Castille (Alana De La Garza) and Special Agent Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym). From the promos, it appears Isobel will provide her expertise in the office, gathering all the intel needed, while Maggie joins the mismatched duo on the ground.

Our footage picks up in the immediate aftermath of Colin’s latest risky stunt, or, as he calls it, a “hunch,” the exact kind of reckless behavior that has made him so effective, yet so confounding to work with for Bill. This time, though, he’s not the only one there to push back on him. Maggie chews him out, knowing that his actions could’ve backfired and gotten Bill killed, but before he can get any more lecturing, an old friend pays a visit. An officer from South Korea’s National Intelligence Service recognizes that “where there’s chaos, there’s Colin,” and swings by to greet his old buddy and meet his new, much less fun partner. The two have a history dating back to their mutual friendship with Colin’s old partner, and it makes things a bit awkward for Bill, who’s still learning the ropes and not quite gelling perfectly with the CIA case officer.

You are a Dutton — or you might as well be. You understand that some things are worth protecting at any cost, and that the modern world’s indifference to history, to land, to legacy, is not something you’re willing to accept quietly. You lead from the front, you carry your family’s weight without complaint, and when someone threatens what’s yours, you don’t escalate — you finish it. You’re not cruel. But you are absolute. In Yellowstone’s world, that combination of ferocity and loyalty doesn’t make you a villain. It makes you the only thing standing between everything that matters and everyone who wants to take it.

You thrive in the chaos of high-stakes negotiation, where the money is enormous, the margins are thin, and the wrong word in the wrong room can cost everyone everything. You’re a fixer — the person called when a situation is already on fire and needs someone with the nerve to walk into it. West Texas oil country rewards exactly what you are: sharp, adaptable, unsentimental, and absolutely clear-eyed about what people want and what they’ll do to get it. You’re not naive enough to think this world is fair. You’re smart enough to be the one deciding who it’s fair to.

You are a Dwight Manfredi — someone who has served their time, paid their dues, and arrived somewhere unexpected with nothing but their reputation and their wits. You adapt without losing yourself. You build loyalty through respect rather than fear, though you’re not above reminding people that the two aren’t mutually exclusive. Tulsa King is for people who are still standing when everyone assumed they’d be finished — who find, in an unfamiliar place, that they’re more capable than the world gave them credit for. You don’t need a throne. You build one, wherever you happen to land.

You carry the weight of a system that is broken by design, and you do it anyway — because someone has to, and because you’re the only one positioned to do it without the whole thing collapsing. Mike McLusky’s world is for people who are comfortable operating where there are no good options, only less catastrophic ones. You speak every language: law enforcement, criminal, political, human. That fluency makes you invaluable and it makes you a target. You’ve made your peace with both. Mayor of Kingstown belongs to people who understand that keeping the peace is not the same as being at peace — and who do the job regardless.

‘CIA’ and ‘FBI’ Are in It Together for the Long Haul

“Elimination Game” is just one part of the CIA and FBI crossover. Back in March, Necar Zadegan, who plays the Deputy Chief of New York’s CIA office, Nikki Reynard, made her debut on the mothership series, helping Isobel when a case of smuggled goods turns out to be an international threat that requires her insight. With the spin-off series already confirmed for Season 2, it’s likely just the beginning for a long and fruitful partnership for the two shows that will give new life to the franchise on CBS. Their efforts together are designed to make the FBI world feel even bigger and thrust agents from both sides into new situations and offer new perspectives.

In an interview with TV Insider previewing the CIA side of this first link-up, Peregrym teased what Maggie’s mindset is seeing Bill and Colin’s partnership for the first time. She definitely sees where Bill’s struggles are coming from, not just from the difficulties of operating in a completely different world, but also from the trust issues he’s saddled with while on his real mission to root out the mole within the agency.

“I just see the dynamic between them and I’m like, ‘Ooh, this is a tough place to be when you can’t really trust your partner. Bill’s on our side. He’s FBI. We understand the rules, we get it. I can see what’s happening with Colin. And I’m like, ‘Oh, this guy’s off the rails a bit.’ And so I feel sorry for Bill, but I’m also like, ‘You just need to find a way to figure this out. You’ve got to find a way to work together, and it’s not going to be forever that you’re in this situation.’ But I feel bad for him. I’m just trying to support him in his situation, essentially.”

CIA Episode 7 premieres on CBS next week on April 13. Check out our exclusive sneak peek in the player above.

Kai Cenat Gets Mention Amid Adin Ross And Reggie Feud

Oop! Kai Cenat Gets Pulled Into The Mix As Adin Ross Reacts To Reggie’s Diss Track (VIDEOS)

It’s going down in the streamer community as PlaqueboyMax hosts his streamer diss track wars. While some are just throwing friendly fire and spitting bars, others are taking lethal shots. Despite Kai Cenat staying out of the streamer scene since his ‘Marathon 3’ ended seven months ago, his name still seems to come up. Reggie didn’t hold back and took a few shots of his own, sparking a reaction from Adin Ross, which ended up dragging Kai’s name back onto the timeline and fueling even more back-and-forth.

Kai Cenat Previously Explained Why He Distanced Himself From Adin Ross

Tension has been brewing in the streamer community after once-close friends Kai Cenat and Adin Ross stopped associating. From expensive birthday gifts to collab streams, the two were once locked in. Back in July 2025, Kai Cenat revealed that he distanced himself from Adin Ross after Adin’s manager allegedly called him the N-word multiple times over the phone.

At the time, Kai said he and Adin were still cool, but it was clear he wasn’t comfortable with the hate he received from Adin’s stream community and preferred to stay away from the unwelcome energy.

Adin later pushed back, saying it wasn’t just his chat making racist remarks. He even called his manager on stream to ask if he really said it. The manager claimed he didn’t remember and, if he did say it, he didn’t mean it in that way. Over time, the tension continued to grow, with fans questioning where they stand. Despite Adin seemingly throwing shade, Kai has yet to respond.

Reggie And Adin Ross Go Back-And-Forth After Diss Track Shots

As of April 9, Reggie participated in PlaqueboyMax’s diss wars. While he didn’t show up, they played his tracks dissing Adin Ross and Cuffem. In one bar, he says, “If you diss KC3 again we gon come and kill your mans.” The streamer went on, “And Adin Ross you ride with Cuffem we gon knock you off.” He added, “Aye Adin Ross you think you tough you is not a boss…“You think cause you rich we won’t come and end it all.” Reggie then asks Cuffem, “How you let a white b**** control your life.”

Adin later went live while folks shared their thoughts. He said he wasn’t bothered and wouldn’t sue Reggie over the threat. He states, “I promise you he probably had to get that diss track approved by Kai. Had to get a permission slip signed to even say that sh**.”

Reggie responded, “Cap. Kai has nun to do with what the Clover Boys do as men we are our own people SYBAU,” Adin clapped back, “Daddy can I please make a tweet responding back, please.”

Reggie continued going off on Adin as he wrote, “You using Black people for your personal gain. You still a bih tho lol, sh** sad fr, you cool tho, love you, hope to see you soon. He claimed Adin is mad because Kai doesn’t mess with him anymore. He also told supporters to pay attention, saying the Clover Boys get hate because they’re winning.

Nurse Convicted After Soiled Diaper Assault

Rihanna Seemingly Addresses Baby Rumors, Talks "Little Pouch"

Chile… things took a disturbing turn inside a Tennessee nursing home, and a licensed nurse is now at the center of a case that ended in a guilty verdict. Now, Sharandal Mitchell has been convicted after a jury found her guilty of assault tied to a March 2024 incident. What started as workplace tension over patient care quickly spiraled into a situation involving a diaper, a face, and a whole lot of side-eyes.

Mitchell Convicted In Shocking Assault Case

A jury has found contracted nurse Sharandal Mitchell guilty of assault after a deeply disturbing incident at Medina Christian Care Nursing Home in Medina, Tennessee. According to the Office of the District Attorney General for Tennessee’s 28th Judicial District, a jury convicted Mitchell on Tuesday of offensive contact, a Class B misdemeanor, after she allegedly smeared a soiled adult diaper on a coworker’s face during a March 2024 confrontation.

Wait…So, What Exactly Happened?

Authorities say the situation began when a coworker reported Mitchell, a licensed practical nurse contracted through ShiftKey. The coworker alleged that Mitchell refused to care for a patient suffering a prolonged nosebleed and failed to administer prescribed medication. After facility management instructed her to surrender her medication cart keys and leave the premises, Mitchell allegedly refused and remained on-site. Additionally, behavior officials described this as erratic, as she blamed the coworker for alerting management. Law enforcement eventually responded to the scene, and officers reportedly waited about two hours while Sharandal Mitchell refused to leave.

Shocking Patient Room Assault Leads To Guilty Verdict

Things reportedly got worse inside a patient’s room, where prosecutors say Mitchell walked in while the coworker was there. Then, she allegedly put on gloves, picked up a used adult diaper with urine and feces. From there, she grabbed the coworker by the hair and smeared it on her coworker’s face. The coworker then pushed her away to defend herself before officers stepped in and took Mitchell into custody.

District Attorney General Frederick H. Agee said the jury’s verdict makes it clear there’s accountability for what went down inside a healthcare facility. He added that though misdemeanor cases don’t usually make it to trial, his office is treating this case with the same weight as felony matters. Lastly, Mitchell will face sentencing in May before Circuit Court Judge Clayburn Peeples.

Moneybagg Yo & More React To Pooh Shiesty, Gucci Mane Case

Published

on

Rihanna Seemingly Addresses Baby Rumors, Talks "Little Pouch"

Gucci Mane shocked his fanbase when he seemingly broke his silence on Pooh Shiesty‘s ongoing kidnapping and robbery case. He didn’t name-drop anyone in his newly released diss track, ‘Crash Dummy.’ But the internet found the lyrics pointed enough! From describing a set-up to confirming he signed papers “under duress,” Gucci’s words went viral overnight. Guwop released the song following a viral report about his statement to police after the alleged incident on January 10. Between his statement and ‘Crash Dummy,’ social media has been poppin’ off nonstop about the case, Gucci’s street cred and what it means to be a “snitch.” And even other rappers are joining in, with some picking sides! Here’s where these rappers, including Waka Flocka, Asian Doll and Moneybagg Yo, seemingly stand.

RELATED: Oop! Gucci Mane Breaks Silence On Kidnapping Case With Diss Track ‘Crash Dummy’ Aimed At Pooh Shiesty & Big30 (LISTEN)

Moneybagg Yo Shares A Message About Pooh Shiesty & Big30

On Friday, as the internet went off about ‘Crash Dummy,’ Moneybagg Yo made it clear who he’s standing behind. And, spoiler alert, it’s not the alleged victims in the case. He reposted a photo and video on his official IG Stories from the page @insidethebagg, which is known to be his lifestyle and media page. It appears his main page is also tagged in the post. The picture and video shared show Moneybagg Yo, Pooh Shiesty and Big30 talking and posing in the studio. Also, the caption reads, “Free Shiest Life!! Free Thirt Ball” with a 100% emoji. For those who don’t know, all three rappers are from Memphis.

Asian Doll Seemingly Calls Gucci Mane A “Rat”

Asian Doll, whose from Dallas but was once the first female rapper to Gucci Mane, is on the same vibe as Moneybagg Yo. She took to X with her disapproval after her former boss dropped, ‘Crash Dummy’ on Friday morning. In one tweet, she seemingly dissed Gucci without naming him, writing, “Rat a** n*gga a pure b***h.” Another tweet said, “FREE POOH SHIESTY & BIG30 #SnitchK.”

RELATED: Aht! Aht! Asian Doll Claps Back As Fans Speculate About Gucci Mane’s Label Amid Pooh Shiesty’s Arrest

Waka Flocka Addresses Claims He Dissed Gucci Mane During Atlanta Performance

Even Gucci Mane’s former collaborator-turned-foe, Waka Flocka Flame, spoke on him following ‘Crash Dummy’s release. However, his focus seemed to be less on picking a side, and more on clearing his name. Last night, he was one of several guests that took the stage at State Farm Arena for the ‘Boys 4 Life’ tour. Before the show, Gucci had already teased his ‘Crash Dummy’ track. A video of Waka Flocka’s performance circulated in which blogs and viewers claimed they heard him say a version of, “F**k Gucci Mane.”

But Waka took to Instagram Stories early Friday to clear the air. He said folks online are doing too much, writing, “Y’all reaching with the Gucci sh*t be bool and stop putting me and hate in the same sentence.” Hours later though, Waka Flocka seemed to mock Gucci Mane, quoting lyrics from the song in an IG Stories video.

Latest In The FBI Case Against Pooh Shiesty & Gucci’s Police Statement

Here’s the latest in the case. A week after his arrest on April 1, Pooh Shiesty was denied bond. In a bombshell criminal complaint, the FBI had accused him, his dad, Lontrell Williams Sr., Big30, and six others of being involved in kidnapping and robbing Gucci Mane and two others. On Wednesday, an FBI agent testified that Gucci and the victims spoke to local police on January 10. He claimed that Gucci, real name Radric Davis, told his security, former cops, that they were outgunned.

After the bond hearing, Pooh Shiesty’s lawyer confirmed that while R.D., media-identified as Radric Davis, did talk to police that night. However, he hadn’t yet given a statement to the FBI. An interview is scheduled, per the FBI agent who testified at the bond hearing. But, even Shiesty’s lawyer said that the information at the hearing indicates Gucci Mane and the other victims, M.M. and B.P., haven’t spoken to the FBI or police since January 10. Pooh Shiesty was remanded to prison until trial, which has no start date as of Wednesday.

What was Pooh Shiesty’s reaction to learning about Gucci Mane’s police statement? He reportedly shook his head and leg in the courtroom on Wednesday. And that’s the same general energy on the internet. A mix of shock, disappointment and a whole lot of “snitch” speculations. If you let the internet tell it, the legal drama unfolding is a Pooh Shiesty vs. Gucci Mane situation. But to be clear it’s the FBI versus nine people accused of being involved in a high-profile kidnapping and robbery. Still, Gucci Mane is Gucci Mane, arguably the godfather of trap music, and ‘Crash Dummy’ was an unexpected turn that not only other rappers are weighing in on.

We Could Save Movie Theaters If Studios Just Did One Simple Thing

We Could Save Movie Theaters If Studios Just Did One Simple Thing

By Robert Scucci
| Published

I’m probably dating myself here, but does anybody else remember when a three-hour movie coming out felt like a cultural event? James Cameron’s Titanic was so long, 3 hours and 14 minutes to be precise, that it was sold for home viewing on double VHS sets. It was a cultural phenomenon, costing $200 million to produce and earning over $2.2 billion at the box office. But it was also the exception, not the rule, when it came to cost and scale of storytelling.

These days, ever since the MCU became the cultural juggernaut that it is, movies have gotten longer and exponentially more expensive, which makes me wonder why studios stopped putting out 90-minute movies with budgets at or around $50 million. When you look at the box office returns for so many doomed projects, they tend to have two things in common: they’re too long, and they cost too much to make.

Don’t believe me? I brought receipts.

Make Them Cheaper And Shorter!

Nic Cage Superman
Even Nicolas Cage couldn’t save The Flash (2024)

While I’m not totally averse to long movies, I’ve always been a strong advocate for the 90-minute runtime. It’s a simple three-act structure that lets filmmakers tell a complete story. They’re also cheaper to make, and you can have more movies in rotation at your local theater on any given day. A three-hour movie occupying multiple screens cuts into revenue potential because we’re putting all of our eggs in one basket.

2024’s The Flash cost $220 million to make and runs 144 minutes. It earned $271.4 million at the box office. That might seem like it at least broke even and secured a small profit, but it didn’t. Factor in marketing and distribution, and it’s a box office failure.

Weapons (2025) earned back The Flash’s budget with just vibes, lighting, and $38 million

2025’s Weapons cost $38 million to produce, with a runtime of 128 minutes. Still a little long for my taste, but it earned $270 million, almost exactly the same as The Flash, for a fraction of the cost. That’s a financial success.

Of course, there are other variables at play. Superhero fatigue had fully set in by 2024, while a strong horror flick from a rising filmmaker is usually a reliable moneymaker. But the core takeaway still stands. The longer, more expensive movie performed worse than the shorter, cheaper one.

Warner Bros. executives looking at their expense report for Folie a Deux

2024’s Joker: Folie a Deux cost $200 million and runs 138 minutes. It earned $208 million, barely recouping its production budget. That’s a failure. Compare that to 2019’s Joker, which cost just $70 million, runs just over two hours, and earned over a billion dollars. The pattern is hard to ignore.

Let’s push it further. 2025’s Anaconda runs 99 minutes, cost $45 million, and brought in $135 million at the box office, earning three times its production budget. If you need more proof, just look up the financials for any movie to come out over the past decade, and tell me what you see.

The John Wick Method Works For Scaling An IP

John Wick smoking the competition

I’m going to lay out something I’m calling “The John Wick Method,” because it perfectly illustrates the point. I’m not against long films. I’m not against expensive films. But films that are both long and expensive need to earn their keep. Superhero movies learned this the hard way when Marvel and DC kept cranking out epics nobody asked for, forcing them to course correct, reconsider their release schedule, and how much money they’re dumping into projects that don’t necessarily guarantee a return on their investment.

The John Wick franchise, on the other hand, started small and scaled up. The first film topped out at $30 million and earned $86 million. It runs 101 minutes. The concept was proven, audiences wanted more, and the sequel followed with a $40 million budget, a 122-minute runtime, and $174 million in box office receipts. Chapter 3 runs nine minutes longer than Chapter 2, cost $75 million, and earned $327 million, and so on. People wanted John Wick to be bigger and badder, that’s exactly what they got, and the numbers prove that this is the way to properly scale towards a film like Chapter 4, which is nearly three hours long, but doesn’t feel like a total slog to get through. It’s exactly why it earned $447 million against its $100 million budget.

Joaquim Phoenix in the painfully long, egregiously expensive Napoleon (2023)

You know what didn’t perform well? 2023’s Napoleon, which had a $200 million budget, barely broke even at $222 million, and comes with a 205-minute director’s cut that hit streaming because the 157-minute version apparently wasn’t punishing enough. Think about how many Anaconda and Weapons-type films we could have cycled through theaters if Ridley Scott didn’t have such a hard-on for historical epics.

This isn’t an indictment of long, expensive movies. But when 2000’s Gladiator was released, it felt like an event, not standard practice. We wanted to see what $103 million looked like on the big screen. And because it was a great movie that fully justified its 155-minute runtime, it felt like a special occasion. That’s why it earned nearly half a billion dollars. It was spectacular, and people wanted to see it again.

We Want Movies, Not Events

To answer your question, Maximus: No, we are not entertained, but we’d like to be

When every single film is treated like an event, audiences have to be selective. The last time I went to a regular, non drive-in theater, four tickets, a large popcorn, and a large soda cost me $100. If it’s also going to cost me three hours of my time for a movie that isn’t even good enough to recoup its budget, then why aren’t studios cranking out shorter, cheaper films?

We’ve reached the point where it’s obvious you don’t need hundreds of millions of dollars to make something worth watching. And nobody wants to burn an entire afternoon or evening on something that’s just “meh.” It will deter them from making a night at the movies a regular family outing, especially when you consider how much it costs to go to the movies these days.

The John Wick franchise did it right. It proved demand with a tight runtime, and a relatively inexpensive concept, then scaled up once it was proven that audiences were invested. Unless studios can consistently capture lightning in a bottle like that, it’s time to cut runtimes, cut budgets, and make movies people actually want to sit through instead of self-indulgent endurance tests. Do that, and you’ll see more asses in seats. Suddenly, 10 screens can show 10 different movies. Suddenly, people care about going to the theater again.

The actor and his wife announced on Thursday, April 9, the birth of their second child, son, Ford Joseph Lawrence. Joey and Samantha shared a picture of both of them wearing the widest grins and holding their bundle of joy, accompanied by the caption:

“Our newest member has arrived. What an absolute blessing you are, baby boy! It will be an Easter Weekend to remember forever. 4.6.26. God is so good.”

The actor’s carousel of pictures features the actor and Samantha sharing a passionate kiss by the tub, while cradling their son tightly to her chest (from the look of things, Samantha welcomed their baby boy at home via a water birth).

Another image shows their baby getting a well-deserved nap while being wrapped up in a warm shawl. The great news comes months after the actor and Samantha announced that they were expecting a baby boy in November.

Many Others Shared Excitement For The New Baby’s Arrival

Joey and Samantha’s comment section was instantly filled with warm words from their friends, including former WWE superstar Brie Garcia and singer Debbie Gibson.

Several online fans and friends noticed the striking resemblance between baby Ford and the actor, emphasizing just how beautiful he looks and how much of a gift from God he is to the family. One more Instagram user stated, “Always wondered if you were a Ford or Chevy guy..lol Congratulations, Kal, so happy you got your boy in time for your 50th birthday! Yay! Joey got his boy!”

Another eagle-eyed commenter picked up on an issue with a particular emoji attached to the post, advising Samantha that adding a dove icon in the caption might come off a bit scary because people often associate that with someone dying.

The couple’s marriage hit the rocks after two years together as Samantha filed for divorce in 2024, citing irreconcilable differences. As shared by The Blast, Samantha submitted her divorce filing on August 13, 2024, citing June 7, 2024, as the official date of separation.

In the filing, Samantha requested that Joey be granted limited visitation with their daughter, with an adjustment to the schedule as their child gets older. In December of the same year, Joey shared an Instagram post of himself and Samantha posing for a picture with his arms around her waist. The actor followed up with another image of the duo sharing a kiss, while stressing in the caption that Samantha is his “forever after.”

Joey and Samantha hinted that things were well in their marriage, expressing gratitude and love for their lives and each other under the post. Fans did not let the pictures slide as they expressed their shock about the couple getting back together after spilling so much vitriol about each other during their split.

At the point of the couple’s separation, an insider noted that unfaithfulness played a very dominant role, and it happened too close to home with Joey and his co-star, Melina Alves. The Blast stated that Joey fully lovebombed his co-star for their upcoming movie at the time, and the actress allegedly fell in love with him.

The insider noted that when Samantha learned about the affair, she called out Joey, but nothing positive came out of the confrontation because the affair continued. Despite efforts by the estranged couple to salvage things by going for counseling, Joey frustrated the whole scheme by fooling their counselor while getting ready for dates with Melina, leaving Samantha to deal with all the sadness.

Melina’s estranged husband, Edward Rider, even testified to the alleged affair in his divorce filing, sharing that the actor and Joey were sneaking around in March 2024 on the set of “Socked In For Christmas.”

Joey Lawrence Unveiled A Long-Kept Secret About Himself

Over a year ago, Joey, alongside his brother Matthew and Andrew Lawrence, appeared together on Friday, March 28, at the Connecticut Convention Center, to chat about their rise to stardom. Joey confirmed that Lawrence was indeed his middle name, but he had to change from Joseph Lawrence Mignogna to Lawrence because no one in the early 80s could pronounce Mignogna.

The actor’s brother, Matthew, added that using their stage name at the time came with its perks because it created a shield around them when it came to privacy. “There was an insulation factor. Some people might check in old school ways, but it would be very, very hard to find us. That was a great thing,” Matthew explained.

He added that he sometimes finds it hard to travel internationally because two different names were in his government records. Joey revealed that he was the first to pick the Lawrence last name before his brothers, Matthew and Andrew, followed him into show business and decided to unify their stage identities by adopting a new last name.

Congratulations to Joey Lawrence and Samantha Cope on their son!

7 Netflix Shows That Are Amazing From Start to Finish

Published

on

The great thing about Netflix is that it offers a diverse range of content for all kinds of audiences. The platform never seems to run out of new and trending entertainment, and while that is a great concept, it also backfires sometimes.

The streamer is home to so many shows at this point that picking one almost feels like a task in itself. That’s where a list like this comes in handy. Here are the Netflix shows that are guaranteed to pull the audience in and entertain them from start to finish.

‘Dark’ (2017–2020)

Dark is Netflix’s first German-language original series, but it’s memorable for far more than just that. The show begins with a child going missing in the small town of Winden. That becomes the catalyst for one of the most intricately constructed narratives in TV history. The story unfolds across several timelines and revolves around four families hiding secrets that lead back to a wormhole hiding in the Winden Nuclear Power Plant. What’s great about the show is how carefully it builds its mythology. Dark never treats time travel like a gimmick, because it’s the very skeleton that the story centers on.

Now, a huge part of why it all comes together perfectly is the casting. Each character exists across multiple timelines, and hence, is played by different actors at different ages. However, the performances are so consistent that the audience is almost tricked into believing these are the same people. That shows just how much work the show has put into its world-building and emotional core. Not to mention that it delivered one of the most satisfying finales in recent times. For a show so complex, it’s fascinating how bingeable Dark is until the very last scene.

The Crown is unlike any other show on Netflix. The series, created by Peter Morgan, is a six-season-long dramatization of Queen Elizabeth II‘s reign. The story begins with the queen’s 1947 wedding and follows her journey to becoming one of the longest-reigning monarchs in history. Of course, the show is never really just about the queen. Instead, it is a deep dive into the institution that she inherits along with the people around her. The timeline moves forward in each season, and the entire core cast is replaced with older actors. Now, this transition could have easily been extremely jarring, but the show does a great job of reframing the characters through a different lens.

For instance, Claire Foy‘s Elizabeth is strong but still uncertain of what lies ahead. On the other hand, Olivia Colman portrays the character as more guarded and shaped by decades of duty. By the time Imelda Staunton takes over the role, the audience genuinely feels as though they have watched Elizabeth grow through the years. The Crown strikes the perfect balance between personal and political storylines without ever feeling convoluted. There’s no denying that the final two seasons are a little less historically accurate than the initial ones, but that doesn’t change the fact that The Crown is prestige TV at its best.

‘The Queen’s Gambit’ (2020)

The Queen’s Gambit has set the benchmark for what a miniseries can be. The show is a masterclass in storytelling and follows Beth Harmon (Anya Taylor-Joy), who is orphaned at nine and becomes a chess prodigy. The story follows Beth’s rise through regional tournaments, national championships, and eventually to Moscow, where she faces the Soviet world champion. It’s fascinating how The Queen’s Gambit makes chess feel so exhilarating, but all the external competition Beth faces is barely the main point.

The show explores how the protagonist finds ways to cope with the trauma she has been through. Beth’s addiction, her relationship with her adoptive mother, and the loneliness she lives with are the true emotional core of the story. Beth is not easy to root for, but Taylor-Joy plays her with a realness that’s impossible to look away from. The show’s stunning visuals, accurate period details, and costumes are just the cherry on top. All in all, The Queen’s Gambit keeps the audience hooked till the very last minute, not just because of the big match, but also because of how invested they are in Beth’s personal journey.

‘The Haunting of Hill House’ (2018)

The Haunting of Hill House has set an unbelievable standard for horror TV series. The show, created by Mike Flanagan, tells the story of the Crain family and the summer they moved into the eerie and mysterious Hill House. The story unfolds across two different timelines and follows the Crain siblings as children, and then as adults who are coping with the strange death of their mother. Unfortunately, though, none of them seem to have escaped the shadow Hill House casts over their lives, and somehow, all of it goes back to the fateful night they fled the place with their father.

The horror in The Haunting of Hill House doesn’t come from jump scares. Even the paranormal elements in the show serve as metaphors for the Crain family’s personal fears and trauma. Hill House itself serves as a living, breathing character with its own role to play in the narrative. Early episodes can feel a bit disorienting as the past and present come together, but the slow build rewards the audience with a payoff so well constructed that it reframes everything they thought they knew. The show delivers plenty of chills, but more than that, it’s a story about grief and the way families crumble under pressure.

Your Fate Has Been Calculated
You’d Survive In…

Your answers point to the world your instincts were built for. This is the universe your temperament, your survival instincts, and your particular brand of stubbornness were made for.

The Resistance, Zion

The Matrix

You took the red pill a long time ago — probably before anyone offered it to you. You’re a systems thinker who can’t help but notice the seams in things.

  • You’re drawn to understanding how the system works before figuring out how to break it.
  • You’d find the Resistance, or it would find you — your instinct for spotting constructed realities is the machines’ worst nightmare.
  • You function best when you have access to information and the freedom to act on it.
  • The Matrix built an airtight prison. You’d be the one probing the walls for the door.

The Wasteland

Mad Max

The wasteland doesn’t reward the clever or the well-connected — it rewards those who are hard to kill and harder to break. That’s you.

  • You don’t need comfort, community, or a cause larger than the next horizon.
  • You need a vehicle, a clear threat, and enough fuel to outrun it — and you’re good at all three.
  • You are unsentimental enough to survive that world, and decent enough — just barely — to be something more than another raider.
  • In the wasteland, that distinction is everything.

Los Angeles, 2049

Blade Runner

You’d survive here because you know how to exist in moral grey areas without losing yourself completely.

  • You read people accurately, keep your circle small, and ask the questions others prefer not to answer.
  • In a city where humanity is a legal designation rather than a feeling, you hold onto something that keeps you functional.
  • You’re not a hero. But you’re not lost, either.
  • In Blade Runner’s world, that distinction is everything.

Arrakis

Dune

Arrakis is the most hostile environment in the known universe — and you are precisely the kind of person it rewards.

  • Patience, discipline, and political awareness are your core strengths — and on Arrakis, they’re survival tools.
  • You understand that the long game matters more than any single victory.
  • Others come to Dune and are consumed by it. You’d learn its logic and earn its respect.
  • In time, you wouldn’t just survive Arrakis — you’d begin to reshape it.

A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Star Wars

The galaxy far, far away is vast, loud, and in a constant state of violent political upheaval — and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • You find meaning in being part of something larger than yourself — a cause, a crew, a rebellion.
  • You’d gravitate toward the Rebellion, or the fringes, or whatever pocket of the galaxy still believes the Empire’s grip can be broken.
  • You fight — not because you have to, but because standing aside isn’t something you’re capable of.
  • In Star Wars, that willingness is what makes all the difference.

‘Beef’ (2023–Present)

Beef is a masterpiece that places its audience and the characters in a pressure cooker of tension. Beef Season 1 begins with struggling contractor Danny Cho (Steven Yeun) and entrepreneur Amy Lau (Ali Wong) getting into a road-rage incident with each other. However, instead of moving on, the two find themselves consumed by this petty feud, and as they take turns retaliating, their beef grows more personal and destructive. Despite the absurd premise, the show doesn’t reduce its characters to stereotypes and actually works to uncover why exactly they are so angry, not just at each other, but at the world.

Beef is a masterclass in pacing, and the escalation never feels forced. The show moves between dark comedy, psychological drama, and tragedy with immaculate precision, and the chemistry between Yeun and Wong is the heart of it all. Beef Season 2 is set to premiere on April 16 and will follow Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny as a young couple who witness an alarming fight between their boss and his wife. If the show’s first installment is anything to go by, viewers can expect another interesting exploration of how humans behave when they are pushed to their limits.

‘Mindhunter’ (2017–2019)

Mindhunter truly changed the game for TV shows when it premiered. The psychological crime series follows FBI agents Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) and Bill Tench (Holt McCallany), alongside psychologist Wendy Carr (Anna Torv), as they work to understand the minds of dangerous serial killers. The show tracks the early days of criminal profiling in the 1970s and revolves around the trio interviewing imprisoned murderers to identify patterns and prevent future crimes. Mindhunter is less about the violence and more about getting into the minds of these criminals to figure out what drives them.

However, the story also focuses on the impact of it all on the FBI agents and their personal lives. Mindhunter is known for its eerily accurate portrayals of famous serial killers, including Edmund Kemper, Jerry Brudos, and Richard Speck. However, the show thrives on much more than just shock value. It builds tension solely through intense conversations that force the audience to sit in discomfort. Despite its dark premise, it’s almost impossible to stop watching Mindhunter until the story is over.

‘Adolescence’ (2025)

Stephen Graham standing on a street with houses looking worried in Adolescence.

Image via Netflix

No one saw Adolescence coming, and maybe that’s why it hits so hard. The show is far from a coming-of-age story as the title suggests. Instead, it is a harsh look at how vulnerable children are in their formative years. The show begins with the police arresting 13-year-old Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper) for the murder of his classmate, Katie (Emilia Holliday). In the beginning, it’s almost impossible to believe that a boy as innocent-looking as Jamie could have done something so heinous. In fact, the entirety of the first episode follows the police as they question Jamie and his parents and take him through the procedural motions of the arrest.

However, the show’s most haunting moment comes near the end of “Episode 1,” when the officers reveal the footage where Jamie is seen committing the murder, and that changes everything. The following episodes center on Jamie’s school, his session with a forensic psychologist, and lastly, how his family copes with the reality of the situation. Adolescence doesn’t sugarcoat its emotions and can be extremely overwhelming at times. That’s exactly the point, though, because it doesn’t want to leave the audience with easy answers. The show’s single-take format makes everything feel all the more urgent and real, and contributes to why Adolescence stays with the audience long after the credits roll.

A Guide to Mick Fleetwood’s 4 Wives From 5 Marriages

Published

Mick Fleetwood is no stranger to love, having married four women in five weddings.

The Fleetwood Mac drummer and band cofounder famously romanced bandmate Stevie Nicks in 1977 between his two marriages to Jenny Boyd, with whom he shares two children. The musician later married Nicks’ close friend Sara Recor in 1988 following a 10-year relationship.

Fleetwood celebrated his fourth marriage with third wife Lynn Frankel in 1995. Once the couple, who share two daughters, split, the rocker moved on with Elizabeth Jordan. Fleetwood surprised fans in March 2026 when he revealed he and Jordan had gotten hitched that month.

Mick Fleetwood married model Jenny Boyd in 1970. The pair went on to welcome two daughters, Amy and Lucy, before divorcing in 1976. During their first marriage, Boyd had a two-week affair with Bob Weston, Fleetwood Mac’s guitarist, which resulted in him being fired.

Following a brief break, Fleetwood and Boyd rekindled their romance, tying the knot a second time in 1977 while Fleetwood Mac was on tour in Ireland. That same year, Fleetwood had an affair with Stevie Nicks amid their Rumours tour. Boyd and Fleetwood split for good in 1978 in the wake of the scandal.

Boyd later married English drummer Ian Wallace in 1984. The pair divorced in 1990. She wed architect David Levitt in 1997.

Boyd attended the University of California, Los Angeles in the 1980s, earning her PhD in psychology. She went on to become a manager of an addiction treatment clinic. She is now a published author, having written her autobiography Jennifer Juniper in 2020 and Icons of Rock: In Their Own Words, with interviews from her famous friends.

Jenny, however, wasn’t the only one in her family who married a famous musician. Her older sister, model Pattie Boyd, was Beatles legend George Harrison’s muse during their marriage from 1966 to 1977. Pattie was also married to Eric Clapton from 1979 to 1989.

Following his brief romance with bandmate Stevie Nicks, Mick Fleetwood fell for her friend Sara Recor, which reportedly fractured the women’s friendship. Recor was also married when she first met Fleetwood, but in 1978, she left her husband and moved in with the musician.

Nicks’ heartbreak over Recor hooking up with Fleetwood is said to be part of the inspiration behind Fleetwood Mac’s 1979 hit “Sara.”

Nearly a decade after the song was released, Recor and Fleetwood tied the knot in 1988 and Nicks was at the wedding. The pair, however, didn’t last and they divorced in 1995. Recor no longer lives in the public eye.

Frankel is a designer, she released a lamp collection in 2025, and professional photographer. According to her Instagram bio, she is also a “lover of Elephants” and “obsessed with ambient lighting.”

Over the next two years, the pair were spotted at several awards shows and attended red carpet events as a couple. News broke in March 2025 that they were engaged.

Fleetwood confirmed in March 2026 that he and Jordan quietly tied the knot. “The south Pacific does its magic!!! A honeymoon with my love Elizabeth,” he captioned a series of Instagram photos from their romantic celebration.
