Emmerdale’s Ray Walters and Celia Daniels have been wreaking havoc across the village

Emmerdale fans have predicted Ray Walters and Celia Daniels’ deaths after “spotting” a murder weapon.

Fans of the ITV soap will recall that drug dealer Ray (Joe Absolom) first turned up in the village earlier this year when Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) got in touch with him about buying Lewis Barton’s (Bradley Riches) cannabis crop.

It subsequently emerged that Ray had been working with teenager Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle), after getting him to break into Butler’s Farm to survey the property.

April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) has now been drawn into Ray and his wicked mother Celia’s (Jaye Griffiths) scheme, as she attempts to clear her boyfriend’s mounting debt.

That’s not all, as it was also confirmed that Ray and Celia have been holding Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) prisoner on their farm, reports the Daily Star.

The soap aired a troubling twist in the modern slavery storyline this week after Bear had arranged to escape with his fellow captives, Mick (Leon Harrop) and Simo (Steven Gidwaney).

As Mick and Simo were preparing to depart, they were shocked to discover an enraged Ray, who had learnt of their scheme.

“I can’t believe you’d try and do this to us. After everything we have done for you,” Ray said. The villain subsequently disclosed that it was Bear who had informed him.

Now, numerous Emmerdale fans are convinced they’ve figured out who might take Ray and Celia down, with many suspecting that newcomer Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill) could “murder” them.

Kev was first introduced as Robert Sugden’s (Ryan Hawley) secret prison husband back in September. The former prisoner struggled to adjust to village life, and quickly found himself reverting to his old ways.

Kev notably robbed a shop in Hotten, stealing large amounts of cash, jewellery and a samurai sword. On Thursday (November 27), an angry Kev briefly held Robert, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) and Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) hostage at The Mill, before departing the village.

However, numerous fans believe he could return to bring down Ray and Celia, with one person writing on a Facebook fan page: “I would love it to be Kev who takes down Celia and Ray.”

Another added: “Yeah, I think he’ll be back and could kill them with his samurai sword,” while a third said: “Yes, me too! I defo see murder on the cards.”

A fourth fan echoed the sentiment, saying: “My thoughts exactly – and uses the samurai sword!”

Meanwhile, another viewer theorised: “Maybe as he’s walking out of the village, Ray or Celia will pick him up and take him to the farm where Bear is.”
