We stan Harper’s Bazaar France hard here at theFashionSpot. Can you blame us? Under the tutelage of Olivier Lalanne, the editor’s choice of cover subjects has become second to none. Over the past twelve months, Lalanne has welcomed everyone from Gigi Hadid and Kate Moss to Naomi Campbell and Layla Etengan onto the magazine’s front covers. He opts to round out the year by welcoming Laetitia Casta back as a Harper’s Bazaar France cover star. Photographed by Juergen Teller, the French model, actress, and fashion darling is captured at home on French Bazaar‘s double offering for December 2024/January 2025. In the cover photograph, Laetitia gazes down Teller’s lens, dressed by stylist Elodie David-Touboul in a black Christian Dior dress from the Cruise 2025 collection.

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“What in the world,” exclaimed matheus_s the moment the cover struck.

“Both of her covers for Harper’s Bazaar France has been dreadful. She looked like a golem on her last one and now this pose. My god… HELP!” added blueorchid.

“Why would anyone look at this dreadful image and think it’s the perfect option for a cover? I just don’t understand how a team of supposed professionals comes up with sh*t like this,” avonlea002 noted.

The Model Gene also was not impressed. “I never want to see another cover by Juergen Teller again. Please make it stop,” they pleaded.

“I can’t believe I like garden furniture more than Laetitia Casta on a magazine cover,” Srdjan laughed.

“Not the garden and garden furniture taking more of the spotlight than Laetitia! Juergen needs to retire. Like, you did your time sweetie; you can go rest now,” voiced jeremydante.
