Jinger Duggar is opening up about the difficult emotional toll her brother Joseph Duggar’s recent legal troubles have taken on her mental health. 

The former reality star addressed her followers on social media to explain why she has seemed distanced lately following the serious criminal charges brought against her sibling. 

This comes after Joseph Duggar was arrested and charged with multiple sex-related crimes involving a minor. 

Jinger recently utilized an Instagram “Ask Me Anything” session to provide an honest update on her life following the arrest of her brother, Joseph. A concerned follower noticed that Jinger appeared disconnected during her recent podcast episodes and reached out to offer support. 

In a vulnerable response accompanied by a photo of a cross, the 32-year-old admitted that she has been navigating a “heavy season that reopened old wounds.” Jinger confessed that while she has considered discussing these matters on her podcast, the subject is incredibly painful and difficult to process publicly.

This emotional admission comes just a month after 31-year-old Joseph was arrested and hit with severe charges, including the lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim under the age of 12. Joseph and his wife, Kendra, were also arrested in Arkansas and are facing multiple counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and false imprisonment. 

Amid these disturbing developments, Jinger told her fans that she has been leaning heavily on her local community and spending quality time with her own children.

She noted that while she has stepped back from social media to cope with the “heavy season,” she is relying on her faith and sees brighter days on the horizon.

Jinger Duggar Previously Spoke Up About Her Brother’s Arrest

While Jinger is currently focused on finding a path toward healing, she and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, previously took a more direct approach to addressing the situation on their podcast. 

In an episode titled “Addressing My Brother’s Arrest,” the couple spent several minutes processing the shock of Joseph and Kendra’s legal troubles. Jinger admitted that the week had been incredibly taxing, as the nature of the allegations brought back the trauma of her family’s dark history. 

According to The Blast, she noted that while her family had faced similar heartbreak in the past, no amount of prior experience could truly prepare someone for such devastating news.

The scandal involving Joseph also forced Jinger to reflect on the actions of her older brother, Josh, who was also accused of molesting minors years ago. Although she avoided using Josh’s name during the podcast, she spoke clearly about a sibling whose “unthinkable choices” had previously left a lasting impact on the entire family.

While Jinger has been open about the internal struggle this scandal has caused, she has also had to defend her continued presence on social media. Some followers questioned how she could continue posting casual content so soon after such serious allegations against her brother came to light. 

Jinger responded by clarifying that her social media activity is tied to professional obligations rather than a lack of concern, per The Blast.

She explained on her Instagram Stories that she has specific influencer brand deals and contracts that were scheduled well in advance, and she feels a responsibility to honor those agreements.

Shortly after Jinger opened up about balancing her social media obligations amid the family scandal, her older sister, Jana, broke her silence regarding their brother’s legal situation. 

The Blast reported that Jana used Instagram Stories to address the shocking news for the first time since the arrests were made public. She expressed deep heartbreak over the allegations, describing the entire ordeal as a situation that has left the family devastated. 

Jana made it clear that the news caught them completely by surprise, stating that the family had no idea about the claims before they were reported in the media. In her statement, she also condemned her brother’s alleged crimes and described it as a “grievous and unacceptable wrong.”

What Legal Experts Have To Say About Joseph Duggar’s Admissions

Amid Duggar family members’ reactions, Joseph’s alleged crimes have put him in an increasingly difficult legal position.

According to The Blast, legal experts are warning that the 31-year-old may have significantly compromised his defense through statements made before his arrest. 

Investigators revealed that Joseph allegedly admitted to the misconduct during multiple conversations, including a confrontation with the young victim’s father.

Former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani noted that these admissions are “highly relevant and damaging” because they provide clear evidence of intent. Rahmani explained that while defense lawyers might try to argue the comments are too vague to be used in court, those efforts are unlikely to succeed.

Summer House’s Mia Calabrese handled a nip slip in the best way.

Mia, 34, laughed off the wardrobe malfunction after Kyle Cooke posted a photo of the season 10 cast at Carl Radke’s Soft Bar launch party via Instagram on Wednesday, April 29. In the latest episode of Summer House, which aired on Tuesday, April 28, the whole cast supported Carl, 41, at the opening day of his alcohol-free bar, Soft Bar.

Kyle’s post comes amid the drama surrounding his estranged wife, Amanda Batula, and costar West Wilson, who revealed in March that they are dating after previously shutting down speculation about their relationship status. Fans — and other Bravo stars — were especially shocked due to Amanda’s close friendship with Ciara Miller, who is West’s ex.

In his caption, Kyle confirmed that he still follows the whole cast after Ciara, 30, unfollowed Amanda, 34, and West, 31. (Amanda and West are also not following Ciara.)

“Yes I still follow and am tagging everyone,” Kyle captioned the group photo. “That’s just my style — to each their own — so please don’t come at me in the comments.”

Superheroes are usually dismissed as being for kids, but that’s never been true. Some of the wildest, craziest scenes ever captured on film happened in extremely graphic, over-the-top superhero movies that would traumatize your average 9-year-old into a lifetime of therapy.

This list is going to celebrate it all. I’m ranking the fifteen most graphic, extreme, gory, totally over-the-top superhero movies of all time.

15. Watchmen

Zach Snyder’s Watchmen is one of the most stylish superhero movies of all time, and it was one of the first to earn an R-rating and break out into the mainstream. There’s sex and violence throughout, but one scene stands out: the prison break. 

Inmates are beaten bloody, set on fire, and then there’s the poor bastard who had his arms cut off with a buzzsaw. There are gallons of blood. You can clearly see the muscle layers in his arms, and no one around him is fazed by this moment of ultraviolence. 

It’s not nearly as bloody, but Nite Owl and Silk Specter going up against muggers in the back alley is just as brutal. We get to hear limbs snap and bend in ways that the human body was never made to move. Then there’s Dr. Manhattan reducing a man to a pile of goo. 

And yet, Watchmen isn’t nearly as gory and bloody as it could be. Had the film adapted “The Tales of the Black Freighter” story from the comic, the ship of corpses would have easily made it one of the most extreme movies of all time. It’ll have to settle for one of the best-looking instead. 

14. Brightburn

What if Superman was evil has become a cliche at this point, but producer James Gunn added a new twist by asking: What if Superboy was evil? 

Brightburn twists the origin of Superman and becomes pure horror. It’s not as gory or bloody as other extreme superhero movies, but when the super-powered 12-year-old Brandon turns his powers against mere humans, the results are sudden, swift, and violent. 

Bullied by kids at school, mocked by his crush, Brandon learns from the alien craft that brought him to Earth that he’s supposed to “take the world,” and nothing will stand in his way. Not his uncle, killed when his truck is dropped from the sky, not his adoptive father, killed by heat vision, and not even his adoptive mother, dropped from the stratosphere. 

It’s not the quantity of Brightburn’s violence, it’s the quality. It never goes quite far enough into the idea of an evil Superman, but it does just enough to satisfy jaded comic book fans. 

13. Darkman

Before Taken, before Batman Begins, Liam Neeson was Darkman, horror director Sam Raimi’s original superhero. Disfigured in a lab accident after being set on fire and dunked in a vat, melting his skin, Dr. Peyton Westlake uses his synthetic skin to become the hero, Darkman. Well, hero might be stretching it; he’s out for revenge. 

That includes playing Whack-A-Mole with one of the criminals who destroyed his lab. You don’t need to see the truck running over his skull.  You can hear the gruesome, squishy sound effect, and your mind fills in the blanks. 

Balancing horror with dark comedy and the standard superhero tropes we all know and love, Darkman isn’t as gory as you might remember, but then again, Darkman himself is terrifying once the bandages come off. The melted skin looks better than the same effect used 20 years later to turn Josh Brolin into Jonah Hex. He doesn’t look like a superhero, he doesn’t act like a superhero, he’s Darkman. 

Two Darkman sequels were made, replacing Liam Neeson with Arnold Vosloo, or as you know him, Imhotep from The Mummy. Without Neeson or Raimi, they lacked the charm, crazy special effects, and violence of the original.

12. Blade II

How do you follow up the film that redefined superhero movies? By going bigger. More vampires, more explosions, more blood, and a lot more body horror. Blade II ups the stakes, get it, stakes? 

By introducing The Reapers, mutated vampires that hunt in packs. Stronger, more durable, and more vicious than the usual Eurotrash vampires, Reapers make Blade break a sweat. Wesley Snipes is still the coolest guy in the room, but this time, he has to work. 

A Reaper’s neck is snapped 90 degrees, and we get to watch as it knits bones back together and keeps attacking. Another is pinned to the wall with a sword, so it bisects itself to get free. 

There are few things in any movie more satisfying than an unstoppable force meeting an extremely violent object. Blade II lacks a scene as iconic as the original’s bloodrave, but put together, the two make a perfect 1-2 punch of extremely violent and gory superhero action. 

There’s a third movie in the trilogy, but we don’t talk about the vampire pomeranian.

11. Kick-Ass

Kick-Ass is violent, funny, gory, vulgar, and yet it’s toned down from the comic book series. The R-rated hit turned Aaron-Taylor Johnson and Chloe Grace-Moretz into stars, forever changed how we look at McLovin, and showed mainstream audiences, still riding the high from Iron Man, that not every comic is for kids. 

Hit Girl, the pint-sized vigilante, is what makes Kick-Ass different from every other movie about someone with no powers but a penchant for violence. Watching her shoot mobsters in the face, impale their cheeks with a grappling hook, and break multiple limbs never gets old. Nicolas Cage gets to join in the fun as Big Daddy, or, What if Batman were a suburban dad? And he replaced the “no kill” rule with “don’t leave any witnesses.” 

Kick-Ass has no powers. He can take a beating, but he has no idea what he’s doing, making all of his fights brutal, knockdown, drag-out affairs. Other superheroes get to look cool during a fight, but not Kick-Ass; he finishes every fight as beaten and broken as his opponents. 

Director Matthew Vaughn doesn’t believe in doing anything halfway. Every single fight is filled with spurts of blood. It adds to the charm of watching mooks get shot and stabbed for two hours. Though we do have to admit, the jetpack is a little stupid. 

10. Punisher: War Zone

The Thomas Jane Punisher has some great moments of violence that fit the character, but real fans know Ray Stevenson’s Frank Castle from the 2008 Punisher: War Zone is more brutal. 

Over-the-top in the best way possible, the film is a Punisher comic book come to life. Blowing a man’s face off with a shotgun, while holding a kid, spinning under a chandelier to take out a room of mobsters, this is not a movie that you can take seriously. 

The film’s villain, Jigsaw, comes off as a Joker knock-off, but the pencil trick this time is the Punisher fixing his own nose with one. It’s gross. It’s awesome. 

In a different universe, we’d get multiple darker and grittier sequels featuring Stevenson’s Punisher. Instead, he voiced the Punisher in the Super Hero Squad Show. That version of the Punisher never used a grenade to take out a group of waiting gangsters in one bloody explosion. 

Punisher: War Zone hit theaters a few months after Iron Man. It flopped at the box office and was too much for the mainstream audience to handle. Uncompromising, violent, and bloody, this is the side of superheroes that’s never been for kids.

9. Joker

No one thought Joker was going to work. A movie about Batman’s greatest villain, without Batman? How would that work? Joker had the last laugh, grossing a billion dollars at the box office and becoming one of the most successful R-rated movies of all time. It did so by showing restraint. 

Joker lets the violence simmer under the surface. You know it’s there, you can feel it building as Arthur’s life slowly unravels, and there’s nothing that can be done to stop it. The final release of violence is a relief. You get to feel the same rush of emotion Arthur does when he gets swept up into a mob unleashing total anarchy through Gotham. 

A single well-placed bullet gets a bigger reaction than hundreds of shots, in say, The Expendables. 

It’s the difference between meaningless violence and violence that forces you to feel. It’s impossible to watch Joker and not have questions about what the hell you just watched. It’s just a shame we never got a sequel. 

8. Super

More extreme than Kick-Ass, James Gunn’s insane movie, Super, is so violent that it can be hard to watch more than once. 

Religious cook Frank Darbo, played by The Office’s Rainn Wilson, believes God has called him to become a hero. Calling himself The Crimosn Bolt, Frank sets off to battle the local drug kingpin, Kevin Bacon, with nothing but rage and a pipe wrench. The extreme violence starts out being played for laughs, Frank literally drops a brick on a drug dealer, to shooting a man after his limbs have been blown off. 

Joining in the chaos is his neighbor, as Boltie, a complete psychopath, sort of trying to do the right thing. Together, they brutally beat muggers, drug dealers, and the guy who maybe keyed Boltie’s friend’s car. You wouldn’t think so, but the last one is the most gruesome, beaten with a porcelain statue, lying on the ground with shards of glass sticking out of his face that James Gunn makes sure to show in extreme detail. 

Super is one of the most violent and bloody superhero movies ever made. Gunn knows exactly when to focus on a bashed-in skull or a missing limb, and his wicked sense of dark humor runs throughout. If you have a dark sense of humor, Super is going to be your new favorite movie.

7. Dredd

After the disappointing Sylvester Stallone Judge Dredd of the 90s, 2012’s Dredd starring Karl Urban finally gave fans what they wanted. Dredd killing criminal scum for 90 minutes. 

While wearing the helmet. Together with his partner Anderson, Dredd spends the entire movie battling for every inch up the 200-story slum tower that Crime Boss Ma-Ma uses as her headquarters. That’s it. That’s the movie. It’s perfect. 

Dredd and Anderson kill 64 criminals on their way to the top floor. In their wake is a trail of bloody bodies with gaping bullet holes, severe blunt force trauma, and a few mild stabbings. 

It’s hard to pick out the best fight, but the best death is easy. It’s the last one. Dredd throws Ma-Ma off the top floor of the tower, and the slow-motion shot of blood leaking out of her head after it makes impact is poetic violence at its finest.  

Dredd isn’t only one of the most extreme superhero movies, it’s one of the most extreme American action movies, period. There’s minimal dialogue and all action. You can’t call yourself an action fan without having seen Dredd. 

6. Logan

It took decades, but Marvel fans finally got their R-rated Wolverine movie with Logan. Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine has lost a step, there’s grey in the beard, and the healing factor isn’t what it once was, but now, when he slices soldiers with his claws, we get to see blood. This is the Wolverine that’s the best there is at what he does, and what he does isn’t very nice. 

Deadpool & Wolverine is bloodier. Wolverine has a higher body count, but it feels like a cartoon. Logan is gritty, it’s darker, and it makes the berserker rage far more satisfying. 

Dafne Keen’s X-23 fits right in. I can only imagine the shock a non-comic reader had when she popped her claws and took down Reavers twice her size. We can forgive Logan for not being the Old Man Logan adaptation we all wanted, because there’s nothing like watching two Wolverines slice limbs, rip off faces, and stab so hard that blood explodes out the back. 

Logan is the perfect example of how to end a superhero story. It’s satisfying, it’s touching, it gave us the best version of Wolverine to date, and then, we got to say goodbye. Of course, death in superhero movies is nothing more than a mere inconvenience, but no matter what Marvel does with Wolverine and the X-Men, we’ll always have Logan.

5. Blade

Blade only needed 10 minutes to make superheroes cool again. The opening 10 minutes start with the vampire blood rave, complete with techno music you won’t be able to get out of your head for the rest of the day, and the first appearance of Wesley Snipes as Blade. 

Without saying a word, the Daywalker kills every vampire he can in the coolest way possible. He wasn’t trapped in a room with vampires; they were trapped with him. He even aura farmed while cornered.

You would think the rest of the movie can’t top the opening, and well, it doesn’t, but there are still gallons of blood, dozens more dead vampires, and plenty more of Wesley Snipes being the coolest motherf**ker on the planet. He doesn’t even have to hold his sword for it to mutilate a vampire. 

Blade II was the most heralded of the trilogy, but you can’t beat the original. It was Marvel’s first successful movie, proving superhero fans didn’t want The Phantom or The Shadow, they wanted superheroes who were cool. Blade cutting through vampires is cool. Blade shooting vampires is cool. Blade is cool. 

There’s only one Blade; there will only ever be one Blade. 

4. The Toxic Avenger 2023

No one thought remaking The Toxic Avenger was a good idea. The original is a masterpiece of schlock. How can anyone today come close to matching Lloyd Kaufman’s insane vision? The answer, of course, is Lloyd Kaufman, but the casting of Peter Dinklage, Tyrion Lannister himself, as the new Toxie was inspired. 

Who hasn’t wanted to see an Emmy-winning actor sing Motorhead’s Overkill and then brutally murder a band called The Killer Nutz? 

The Toxic Avenger can’t compare to the original movie, but with a budget higher than the rest of the franchise combined, a man getting his jaw removed by a mop has never looked this good. That’s one of the most basic kills. 

A man is murdered when his beard is ripped off and shoved down his throat. Another is slammed through a Cadillac. Not on a Cadillac. Through. 

In an era where movies are being toned down, it’s refreshing to see a balls-to-the-wall schlock fest get made. It pales compared to the 80s original, but it’s still the most brutal and extreme superhero movie of the decade. 

3. Guyver 2: Dark Hero

Bringing the anime and manga to life, Guyver 2: Dark Hero was made for under a million dollars, and most of the budget went to the gore-filled superhero combat. Guyvers are bioorganic-powered combat suits that bond with their host’s DNA. Think Venom if he were a Power Ranger and could eat his host. 

You can tell Guyver: Dark Hero is a low-budget film, but by the time our hero kills a lizard monster by stabbing it multiple times, cutting off its hands, and then exploding its eyeballs, you won’t care because it’s awesome. 

The bio-organic Guyver designs look like David Cronenberg designed a superhero. There are squishy, fleshy parts, lots of blood and guts whenever one is injured, and in the final fight, the villain’s Guyver armor is turned against him and starts to eat him alive. It’s brutal. It’s disgusting. It’s more creative than the majority of superhero movies in the 90s. 

The original Guyver, rated PG-13, doesn’t have a fraction of the violence of the R-rated sequel. For a generation raised on Power Rangers and Kamen Rider, the violence can be a bit shocking. One minute the Guyver is doing fancy somersaults, and the next he’s stabbing. Let’s see the Red Ranger do that. 

2. Citizen Toxie: Toxic Avenger 4

No one does extreme quite like the fine folks at Troma. The low-budget cult classic studio has put out the most violent, gross-out humor films for decades, but they outdid themselves with Citizen Toxie: Toxic Avenger 4.  

It has sex, violence, little old ladies getting run over by cars, explosions, a meat grinder, decapitations, extreme farting, and every bodily fluid you can think of. This is the pinnacle of sclock master Lloyd Kaufman’s long career, and it has to be seen to be believed. 

Citizen Toxie sends the Toxic Avenger to an alternate reality, where his friends are enemies, his enemies are allies, and he has to do battle with The Noxious Offender, his evil doppelganger. Honestly, the plot doesn’t matter; it’s a series of escalating gross-out fights and brutal murders, but thanks to the mad genius of Kaufman, it retains the same low-budget charm of the 1984 original. 

You’ll alternate between disgust, horror, and laughter, and that’s before you learn there’s an unrated director’s cut that’s even more extreme than the original film. 

Attempting to describe any of the original Toxic Avenger films is pointless. These movies have to be experienced to truly be appreciated. It’s one thing to hear someone say “and then the fetuses started fighting,” and it’s another to experience it for yourself. 

1. Turbo Kid

At this point, you’re either wondering, “What the hell is Turbo Kid?” or “Hell yeah! Turbo Kid!” 

Imagine Mad Max, with BMX bikes, and a suit that grants superpowers in the hands of a teenage boy. That’s Turbo Kid. It’s the Goonies with gore.

Inspired by the 1980s comic book hero, Turbo Rider, a teen heads out on a quest to rescue Apple, a girl who hasn’t had her spirit crushed by surviving in the apocalyptic wasteland. Using the real Turbo Rider’s armor, the Kid is able to disintegrate goons, or parts of goons, with a single shot. 



Zeus, the local warlord, rules over the wasteland, but it’s his henchman, Skeletron, who steals the show. He looks like a kid drew up a supervillain, and his wrist-mounted buzzsaw gun is as awesome as it sounds. Anyone will tell you, buzzsaws in movies are awesome. 

Also awesome? Turbo Kid’s gun. Turns out, being able to make people explode can solve a lot of life’s problems. And Turbo Kid makes a lot of people explode.  A lot. 



No, seriously, this movie has more exploding body parts than Scanners. It never gets old. There’s also a lot of blood. A whole lot. No movie has ever included raining blood with a heartfelt kiss quite like Turbo Kid.

The combination of violent, bloody deaths and an 80s teen adventure makes Turbo Kid the most extreme, graphic superhero movie you’ve never seen.

General Hospital has a leak including some details about Jack Brennan‘s (Chris McKenna) tragic fate, what’s coming for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), and another huge exit tied to a current front burner storyline.

Plus, a child we’ve not seen in years, supposedly returning as an adult. We’re going to talk about the latest rumor roundup that centers mostly on casting this go-round. We have a whole lot to cover, so let’s dive right in.

As I mentioned when I shared our last leaks, we got a couple of sources and sometimes they contradict each other. But if the tea is really hot and juicy, I go ahead and I share it. And as always, I want to clarify these are leaks. These are rumors. They are not official spoilers.

My source leaked who killed Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) weeks before Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was revealed. The other source has released some big stuff. So, their track record isn’t perfect, but it’s good enough that I want to share. I love juicy rumors. So, let’s spill that tea.

General Hospital LEAK: New Faces Coming To Port Charles

Let’s talk first about some new faces in Port Charles before we get into the death, the exit, and the recast news. So, we know that actor Jonathan Bennett is set to debut in May as Joe Fitzpatrick and our source says that he is sent to Port Charles by Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). Now, there was some chatter that Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean Parsons) might have been sent to town by Robert since they have Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) in common, but our source says that is not part of Ethan’s motive or his backstory.

We’ve also heard that when Robert Scorpio dies offscreen, which we know is coming, that things are going to get really chaotic for this new guy Joe and his secret agenda. We recently reported a leak from our other source that said Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) ends up in Shadybrook. And then our first source said they hadn’t heard it. But they admitted that it seems plausible based on other things they’ve heard. They also said that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is definitely back on his own two feet by the summer and facing off with wicked Willow, which also makes sense.

And although Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) is dating Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and keeps getting dropped into scenes with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), the source says General Hospital may pair Elizabeth with Drew again this summer after some big events may clear a path for them. I mean, back in the Billy Miller days, Liz was crazy for Drew. You know, at first she thought he was Jason, but she did really love him and then it didn’t work out.

GH Character Death Leak: Jack Brennan

All right, next let’s talk about the character death leak. So, we’ve had reports from both of our sources indicating anywhere from three to five exits are coming, including several deaths over the next few months, not simply people packing up to leave Port Charles. We’ve been hearing for months that he would be going and our source just reconfirmed that Jack Brennan is going to die.

And again, I say that it’s a rumor, but that is what they are saying. So, we had heard it a while back, but then they said that Finola Hughes pushing for an extended break and getting it bought Chris McKenna some more time in the role of Jack because they had to push the storyline climax on the WSB stuff down the road several months with Anna Devane gone.

So, Brennan is supposed to get a hero’s death and redemption on his way out. And this week, it looks like Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) may give Jack a heads up about Carly Spencer‘s (Laura Wright) affair. Surely Joss wouldn’t do anything to get her mom arrested, but we’ll see.

Non-Death Exit: Isaiah Gannon Leaves General Hospital

Now, let’s talk about a non-death exit. So, the General Hospital leaker said Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) may be out soon. That also seems somewhat plausible given that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) seems determined to try and run Isaiah out of Portia Robison’s (Brook Kerr) life.

A less plausible I feel like portion of the leak said that Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) or Portia might also be exiting. I mean, I guess I could see a scenario where Isaiah and Portia leave together to get away from Curtis and Jordan, but that seems like a long shot. And the leak also said that Isaiah wouldn’t leave at the same time that one of these other two might leave. So, we’ll see.

More New Character Talk for GH

Some new character talk. Rumor has it we might meet some of Ezra Boyle’s (Daniel Cosgrove) family. I’m sure he’s got an ex-wife, maybe some kids, but honestly, General Hospital has a cast of thousands, so the last thing we need is more randos, but I wouldn’t put it past the writers.

Also, the leaker said Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) may have a tie-in with Ethan. Now, this I really do believe. So, he was raised in Australia, and if you remember, that’s where Justine ran off to after she got that big payday from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Carly to set up Drew with the ketamine.

The source said Justine and Ethan may have a thing kind of like Rebecca Shaw (Natalia Livingston) and Ethan had back in the day. If you don’t remember Rebecca, she was Emily Quartermaine’s (also Natalia Livingston) secret twin and she was Ethan’s lover and they came to Port Charles and they were looking to scam some people.

Jacinda’s got a shady past, a link to Australia and I could see her and Ethan targeting people for money. And bless his heart, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) can’t keep a good woman. So, I wouldn’t be surprised if GH set him up for more heartache.

Mystery Kid Returning as Adult to General Hospital

Okay, two leaks left. The recast and the mystery kid. Let’s start with the kid. So, the source said that this fall, General Hospital is bringing back somebody we’ve not seen since they were a child. So, not a teen or a young adult. This would be somebody we haven’t seen since they were a literal child.

So, not somebody, for instance, like Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) or Kiki Jerome (Haley Erin), somebody’s child, but that went out as a young adult. No, they said it’s a kid who is now an adult that fans would be excited to see. So, I sat down and I was thinking, what kids are gone that left as kids and haven’t been back that fans might be excited about.

Brenda Barrett’s Son Returns to General Hospital

And one name popped into my head, and of course, it could be somebody else, but this name popped into my head. Aleksander Janáček, aka little Alec Barrett. Remember him? He was Brenda Barrett’s son. It was back in 2007.

She gave birth during a storyline where Dante was protecting Brenda and her son Alec was kidnapped at birth. And then he was swapped with another kid and then when he was four, Brenda finally got him back. Brenda and Alec moved to Rome with Jax in 2011. That was the last time we saw the kid.

So, at one point Brenda wanted Sonny to adopt Alec and they would raise him together. That didn’t pan out and we’ve not seen Vanessa Marcil as Brenda since I think like 2013. So, the leaker said this child storyline might replace the storyline they had planned for Maxie, which is going to bring us now to the recast discussion.

Maxie Jones Recast Discussion on GH

So, I had heard weeks ago that General Hospital was debating recasting the role because Kirsten Storms was unavailable and there weren’t really reasons given for it when I heard this initial leak, just that she was unavailable. This was before all the stuff that just came out.

So, the rumor said that the powers that be at General Hospital have been talking to Kirsten to see if she was open to basically giving them her blessing to do a recast on Maxie. It’s always better for PR reasons for an actor to say they left rather than, you know, them to be pushed out. And again, this was chatter from before TMZ published that horrible article.

General Hospital: Sad News about Kirsten Storms

The leaker said what’s going on now may be pushing them to think harder about what is next for Maxie. So, I don’t want to dig too deep into that. I truly hope that whatever is going on with Kirsten that it all works out well for her. And of course, you know, there are options to just leave this alone. You know, GH hasn’t mentioned where she is.

They could stage another coma to buy some time to see how things shake out in her life. They could do a temporary recast if they absolutely had to have Maxie around. They’ve done that before. But in the end, I hope that General Hospital shows her compassion. Kirsten said before that Frank Valentini had been gracious in giving her time off, so maybe they will continue to show her grace.

Guy Ritchie’s Netflix series The Gentlemen is everything his 2019 movie by the same name was not. It’s better in every way, and it performed better, too. And season 2 is now on the way.

When released in 2024, it lingered in the Netflix top ten charts for weeks. Though it topped out at number three in the U.S., The Gentlemen hit number one in several other countries, including Australia and the United Kingdom. 

Why The Gentlemen Is Better Than The Movie That Inspired It

The Gentlemen, stars Theo James as Edward “Eddie” Horniman (Freddy’s younger, calmer, and more trustworthy brother), Kaya Scodelario as Susie Glass (head of a crime family), Daniel Ings as Freddy Horniman (Eddie’s older, drug-addicted brother), and Joely Richardson as Lady Sabrina Horniman (Eddie and Freddy’s mother who tries to keep them out of trouble). 

Though it could be considered a spin-off or soft remake of the 2019 movie, The Gentlemen is more of a different story with some similarities to the film. The plot of the show centers around Theo James’ character, Eddie, and his older brother, Freddy. 

When their father dies, Freddy expects the estate to be left to him (he’s the firstborn son), but things don’t go quite as he expects. Eddie is named the new Duke of the estate instead, and the new steward quickly finds that there’s a lot more to his inheritance than money and Halstead Manor. 

The Gentlemen’s to-and-fro struggle between oppositional brothers is a recurring theme in Ritchie’s films/shows. The brothers’ inability to make it through a conversation without some level of vulgarity and aggression is entertaining. 

The first episode of the series does contain a drawn-out, immature spot where everyone says “cock” as many times as possible (reminiscent of the “meow” gag in Super Troopers), but once the genitalia jokes have passed, the show settles into a more rhythmic tone. 

However, part of the joy of engaging with Guy Ritchie’s work is watching his characters’ relentless journey to poke, pry, and criticize each other. In The Gentlemen, Eddie’s relationship with Susie is another point of engagement and interest for viewers. 

Susie is the daughter of a powerful crime family, who grows marijuana on the land of broke aristocrats and gives them a cut of the action to keep their estates intact. When Eddie’s father was still alive, he made a deal with Susie’s family (the Glass family) permitting them to use the Halstead land for their operation. 

Now, Eddie wants out of the business. The Gentlemen makes perfect use of the drive of the two leading characters being pushed in separate directions, all the while highlighting the entangled and undeniable chemistry between the pair. 

The dynamic between Freddy and Eddie also makes the show work well. Freddy might be the most annoying character Guy Ritchie has ever brought to screen, but Eddie’s cool demeanor nicely offsets his spastic nature. 

To top off the excitement, every episode of The Gentlemen includes a well-placed dialogue about what a “gentleman” does. If you want in on the buzz, you can watch the whole first season of the show streaming on Netflix.

The Gentlemen Season 2: What We Know So Far

The Gentlemen is officially coming back for season 2, and Netflix is already positioning it as one of the streamer’s bigger returning shows for 2026. Production on the new season reportedly wrapped ahead of schedule after filming began in 2025, with Theo James and Kaya Scodelario both returning alongside Guy Ritchie.

Right now, Netflix hasn’t announced an exact premiere date, but a fall 2026 launch is likely. Look for The Gentlemen’s new season to arrive on Netflix between September and November.

Bold and the Beautiful has Katie Logan (Heather Tom) wondering what to do next after Eric Forrester‘s (John McCook) collection was a big smash for Logan. But Katie is worried about being considered a one-hit wonder. Bottom line, she needs a new lead designer.

And as expected, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is trying to recruit Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) to come over to the company. And yes, that would give Katie a new line, and I’m sure Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) would go along.

But that still doesn’t fix the lead designer problem. So, we’re going to talk about whether Logan’s new lead designer could be a blast from Ridge Forrester‘s (Thorsten Kaye) sketchy past.

Katie Needs A New Lead Designer on Bold and the Beautiful

So, right now, Katie’s trying to figure out what is next for Logan. And that’s when Liam brought up wanting Hope to leave Forrester Creations because he said they undervalued and underappreciated her the same way they did to Katie and others. So, Liam seems to be envisioning his wife coming over to Logan to do a line simply called Hope. So, while she would probably have to leave without any of the designs that Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) have completed, I actually think that’s fine because they were not really Hope’s vision. That was something that was forced on her.

I think Liam, Katie, and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) could sell this to Hope and she would bring her brother, Deke, with her as her designer and he has a whole pile of designs sitting around. So, bringing over Hope and Deke would be great, you know, but he is a relative newbie as a designer. He does not have the experience to be Katie’s lead designer. So I suspect that Bold and the Beautiful is either going to bring in a new character or they might bring back somebody who was a designer in the past on Bold and the Beautiful. So, I want to talk about a few of the options.

Designer Option #1: Sally Spectra Back to Bold?

First of all, there’s Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). We got to consider her. I love Courtney Hope, but right now Sally is over in Genoa City. She’s running her own media company. She is newly pregnant and she just got engaged to Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

So, I doubt we are going to see Sally coming back on Bold and the Beautiful, although I do love the character. But there’s some other more feasible options. So, let’s talk about them. Be sure to stick around to the very end though because the last one we’re going to discuss is the nuclear option, the blast from Ridge’s scandalous past that Bill might use to blow up Ridge and punish Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) for hurting Katie.

B&B Designer Option #2: Clarke Garrison

So, another one to consider since Sally’s off the table would be Clarke Garrison (Daniel McVicar). He’s a veteran designer. He was over at Spectra Fashions. And he also worked at Forrester Creations. He later returned when Spectra Fashions became Jackie M. And if you were watching then, you may recall that Clarke was charming, a ladies man, and a schemer. He’s not been seen in years, so his return as Logan’s lead designer would definitely shake things up, but it wouldn’t be the most dramatic option.

Designer Option #4: Nicole Avant Returns to Bold and the Beautiful?

Another to consider is Nicole Avant (Reign Edwards). She is Maya Avant’s (Karla Mosley) younger sister. She came to Los Angeles looking to be a model. Nicole was also a little bit of a schemer and wound up as a junior designer at Forrester International, but that was years ago, so she’s had years of experience. So, she could pop back up and approach Katie about designing for Logan. That would shake things up for Zende, who is Nicole’s ex-husband. They divorced about six years ago. So, you know, she might come back to get some payback on Zende, but again, that seems like a long shot.

Bold Designer Option #5: Amber Moore

Another designer to consider is Amber Moore (Adrienne Frantz). She started on Bold and the Beautiful as a gold digger and another schemer. And if you remember back in the day, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) helped Amber get a job as a nanny for Eric and Brooke’s kids, Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) and Rick Forrester (Jacob Young).

And from there, Amber wound up romantically involved with Rick, who was years younger than her. Amber desperately wanted to be a fashion designer, and she wound up working at Forrester Creations and then later also went over to Spectra Fashions. She has been off of Bold and the Beautiful for many years.

The actress is still working as far as I know, and I’m sure Amber would make a big splash if she came back as Katie’s new designer, but I’m not sure how plausible that Amber is. Now, she would love to crush the Forresters, but the problem is Amber has a messy history with Bill and also Liam. And that’s why I think it is a long shot.

Designer Option #6: Jack Marone

Another to consider that would be a hard hit at the Forresters is if Katie hired Jack who is Nick’s son with Brooke. Now, if you remember, Taylor carried and gave birth to Jack, but didn’t mean to have Brooke and Nick’s son. So, there was an accidental embryo swap back in the day. Taylor was married to Nick, desperately wanted to have his baby, did in vitro, but wound up with Brooke’s egg. It was some kind of laboratory error.

So, when Nick was back last year, he and Brooke mentioned that their son Jack is in Paris and is working in fashion. I’m sure that Nick is salty that Brooke went back to Ridge and remarried him. So, I could see Nick encouraging his son Jack to go work at Logan with his aunt Katie to annoy both Ridge and Brooke. I think that is plausible, especially with Jack’s sister Hope likely going over to Logan as well, but I don’t think it would be the soapiest option.

The Nuclear Option – #7: Morgan DeWitt

Let’s talk about something that would be nuclear. A blast from Ridge’s past that would be a really dramatic twist if they brought her in as Katie’s lead designer. Let’s talk about Morgan DeWitt (Sarah Buxton). Back in the day, she came to Forrester Creations as a model. She had a fling with Ridge and got pregnant, but his mom Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) pressured her into an abortion. And after Ridge’s mom basically forced her to terminate the pregnancy, Morgan just went nuts. She hated Stephanie and she remained obsessed with Ridge.

So, Morgan came back to B&B in 2000 when Brooke hired Morgan to design for Forrester Creations. At the time, Ridge was married to Taylor, and Morgan came back on the scene still fully fixated on him. She played nice with Taylor while plotting to get pregnant by Ridge to replace the baby that his mom made her terminate. So, Morgan did actually get Ridge into bed, and she did get pregnant, but she miscarried. And Morgan went even crazier. She kidnapped Taylor at one point. And she kidnapped Steffy Forrester back when she was a kid. She tried to drown Ridge’s mom, Stephanie, and in the end, Morgan was arrested and sent to a mental institute.

Bold and the Beautiful: Bill Blows Up Ridge’s Life

Now, I doubt that Katie would actively recruit Morgan to bring in as her lead designer. All that being said, Bill def might do it. You know, they say there’s a thin line between genius and madness. So, could be that Morgan is still fully psycho but also an amazing designer, you know, and I think Bill would love to bring back a nightmare like her from Ridge’s past. All the things that Brooke and Ridge are saying that Katie, you know, stole Eric’s designs, all that kind of stuff.

And just the way that Bill feels like they mistreated his wife, you know, bringing in Morgan to Logan would be like setting off a nuclear bomb that would blow up Ridge and Brooke because I’m sure that Morgan would come in just as fixated on Ridge. And Sarah Buxton, who played Morgan, is still a working actress. So, I think this one’s definitely plausible. She’s a she-villain who in the scale of ranking bad girls isn’t quite as bad as Sheila, but she’s pretty darn close.
