Simmons’ Hollywood Hills residence is officially seeking a new owner with a significantly reduced price tag.

The property first hit the market in June for an asking price of $7 million. It has since been reduced to $5,889,999, a major drop of over a million dollars, per TMZ.

The sprawling 4-bedroom, 5-bathroom home, where the beloved “Sweatin’ to the Oldies” star passed away last year, comes with over 4,000 square feet of living space and also boasts a rare circular swimming pool and a dedicated pool house.

It also comes with a 4-room, 2-level primary suite complete with a dressing room and a well-equipped gym. There’s also a secondary guest suite and a small enclave upstairs for some alone time.

Simmons passed away in July last year at the age of 76, after reportedly falling in his bathroom.

At the time, law enforcement officials said that they responded to a call from his housekeeper at around 10 am that day before pronouncing him dead. No suspicions were raised as to the cause of his death.

The workout enthusiast was born in New Orleans before attending Florida State University, where he earned a degree in art. He then moved to L.A. in the 70s and remained active until his death.

Simmons was so interested in keeping people fit that he opened several gyms for customers who were ready.

He also released several DVD messages like “Sweatin’ to the Oldies,” “Party off the Pounds,” “Blast Off,” “Pump and Sweat,” “Tonin’ Uptown,” “Tonin’ Downtown,” and many more.

Meanwhile, Simmons’ housekeeper, Teresa Reveles, believed that he died from a heart attack.

In a conversation with People Magazine, she explained how his hands were balled into a fist when she found him unresponsive.

“When I saw him, he looked peaceful … That’s why I know it was a heart attack. I had a heart attack a few years ago, and my hands did the same,” Reveles noted.

Reveles was essentially part of Simmons’ life as she began working for him in 1986 through an agency.

She said, “I showed up in here, and Richard says to me, ‘Where are your clothes? Where is your big suitcase?’ I said, ‘I just bring the little suitcase because I only try this for two weeks. If you don’t like me or you don’t like my cooking, then I can’t work.’”
