What about clothes for summer heat and humidity? And what about something that is priced reasonably for someone who is not wealthy? And…why is it that women older than 50 are supposed to wear, basically, colorless clothes? Seems they are already invisible enough!

That is not her in all the pictures. For instance, at :50, that model on the left in the acid lime green billowy pants is not her. Also, an excellent older woman dresser, but not Linda. A rather different, less classical style, but wonderful.

She really looks like an old grandma, especially in some clothes. And some clothes look old and winkled and not really elegant. And pajama pants and socks with sandals?! But some looks are really good. The most important part is that she feels free to wear what she wants. It is all about inspiration. Everybody should find their own style.

This stuff is great unless you live where it's summer 10 months out of the year. And that's getting to be in more places than the South. I don't own any wool garments, or scarves, or hats, and hardly any long sleeves. I have a two or three jackets and a couple of sweatshirts for "cold" and rainy weather. I've worn my boots once in the past two years. And people who are tall and thin look great in anything – but that ain't the majority of older women.

Love it! I am 76 and love to look fashionably chic. I love scarves and shawls that are colorful. I dont wear pants but I love flowing skirts and dresses that are below the knee. I dont shy away from colors but prefer more subtle colors. I love her look. Who says we cant be fashionable in our older years.

YOU GOTTA BE NEAR OR AT YOUR CORRECT NODY WEIGHT!
Yep, when you are overweight you look dumpy and the curves go in the wrong direction.
That being said, this woman is very close to her correct weight. The reason why most items of dress look good on her.

although i love how she looks at her age, i am not particularly a fan of the parisian style, which is less feminine, less expressive/authentic and is mostly designed for a specific body type, which is obviously not feminine. Parisian style prefers androgine women, women with small breasts and a boyish body shape, and skinny, almost bonny. Since i have a more feminine body type with curves in all the right places (even though i am thin) and i love women who are embracing their feminine shape, these parisian clothes would not look good on me at all. My beautiful hourglass shape would be grossly hidden underneath these boyish clothes.

Age has nothing to do with it. Anyone who is tall and slim can wear whatever they like and look good. She could wear an old sack and still look chic. Most of us have to work harder at it.
