Valerie Bertinelli had an unexpectedly unfiltered moment on live television after accidentally dropping not one, but two explicit words during an appearance on “Today with Jenna & Sheinelle.” The actress appeared on the show on Thursday to promote her upcoming “Love, Again,” but the conversation quickly went off-script thanks to a pair of accidental slip-ups that left both Valerie Bertinelli and the hosts stunned.

The first moment happened while Bertinelli was discussing her emotionally heavy role in “Love, Again,” where she plays a caregiver supporting her husband through Alzheimer’s.

“She’s just trying to hold it together. I just identified with her wholeheartedly,” Bertinelli explained. “Where I’m one of those people where no matter what I’m going through, I will put that happy face on so I don’t bring my sh-t to other, sorry. Bring my stuff to other people.”

The actress immediately realized what she had said and quickly apologized to co-hosts Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones. “I’m so terrible. I’m so sorry,” she said.

Bertinelli Dropped Curses Again Minutes Later

But the live TV chaos didn’t stop there. Later in the interview, Bertinelli began discussing dating and independence when she accidentally let another curse word fly. “I am so independent and I can do anything I want, so leave me the f-ck alone,” she declared. “Oops, that’s a second one!”

Bush Hager quickly pointed out as Bertinelli appeared shocked by herself. “Geez Louise! I’ll never be invited back again,” the actress joked afterward. “I’m sorry! God, what is wrong with me?”

She then blamed the mishaps on getting older. “You know what, it’s the 66-year-old disease where you just don’t care what comes out of your mouth,” she explained, before once again apologizing to viewers.

The appearance came as Bertinelli gears up for the premiere of “Love, Again,” which debuts May 9. The film explores themes of grief, resilience, caregiving, and rediscovering love later in life. Ahead of the movie’s release, Bertinelli also shared a heartfelt Instagram post revealing how deeply the project affected her while filming.

“This is the first time I have not regretted an all-nighter and instead welcomed it and everything that went into it,” she wrote. “The gorgeous sunrise and the bird song was the gift at the end of a challenging, yet productive, 14 hour day.” She also praised writer Nancy Silvers for creating what she called a “raw, beautiful and heartbreaking” script.

“I have such exquisite love in my life. I have my animals. I have my girlfriends. I have my son and his beautiful wife. I have my brothers. I have my family. I have beautiful love in my life,” she shared. “But there’s something about intimate love, and I write about it in my book,” she continued, referencing her memoir “Getting Naked: The Quiet Work of Becoming Perfectly Imperfect.” “There’s something about an intimate love with a partner, and I haven’t had a partner in over a decade at least.”

During a recent conversation with PEOPLE, Bertinelli admitted the end of both marriages left her struggling with feelings of failure. “Two divorces behind me, I felt like a failure,” she shared. “I didn’t know what love actually meant, really, real true (love).”

While reflecting on her marriage to Van Halen, Bertinelli revealed he came the closest to giving her that feeling. “Ed and I had it for glimpses, but I really never really experienced it for any length of time. Directed by Simon McQuoid from a screenplay by Greg Russo and Dave Callaham, Mortal Kombat follows a mixed martial arts fighter named Cole Young. Dealing with a failed career, he is unaware of his hidden lineage or why he is being hunted by an assassin known as Sub-Zero. Concerned for his family’s safety, he seeks out Sonya Blade.

After speaking with a Special Forces Major named Jax, who bears the same dragon marking Cole had since birth. His journey leads him to the temple of Elder God Lord Raiden. To stand with Earth’s protectors against the Outworld enemies, Cole trains with Liu Kang, Kung Lao, and Kano as they prepare for battle.

After an intense battle, Shang Tsung vows to return with an army for the next fight. As a result, Raiden declares his intention to train new warriors for the next tournament, tasking his current champions with their recruitment. Cole leaves for Los Angeles to find Hollywood martial arts movie star Johnny Cage, setting up the story for the Mortal Kombat sequel.

The site’s general consensus says the film is mainly for fans of the source material, but is flawed. Audiences polled by CinemaScore gave the movie a B+ average on a scale from A to F.

New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and NFL reporter Dianna Russini were reportedly nervous to be seen together amid their years-long relationship. 

Vrabel, 50, and Russini, 43, were “cautious” about pictures being taken during their private boat trip together in June 2021, according to TMZ Sports, who posted video of the excursion on Thursday, May 7.

The boating trip happened in Putnam County, Tennessee, during the 2021 NFL offseason, when Vrabel was head coach of the Tennessee Titans. 

Vrabel has been married to his wife, Jen, since 1999 and the couple share two sons: Tyler, 25, and Carter, 24. 

Russini and Goldschmidt welcomed their first son, Michael, in August 2021, and their second son, Joey, in October 2022. 

Us Weekly has reached out to Vrabel and Russini for comment. 

Vrabel and Russini’s relationship has been a viral sensation since last month, when Page Six published photos of them together at a luxury resort in Arizona. The pictures showed the two linking hands, sharing a hot tub and sunbathing together by the pool.

Before the start of the NFL Draft last month, Vrabel announced he was briefly stepping away from the team to attend counseling.

“I promised my family, this organization and this team that I was going to give them the best version of me that I can possibly give them. In order to do so, I have committed to seeking counseling, starting this weekend,” Vrabel said in a statement to ESPN on April 22. “This is something that I have given a lot of thought to and is something I would advise a player to do if I was counseling them.”

He continued, “I have always wanted to lead by example, and I believe this is what I have to do to be the best husband, father and coach that I possibly can be. This is not an easy thing for me to admit, but it is one that I know will make me a better person. I appreciate the support that everyone has given me and promise a stronger resolve as a result.”

Some Marvel characters arrive, save the day, and then get neatly folded into the next crossover. Others leave behind a much stranger question mark. This one has not been seen in the MCU since her Disney+ debut, but the conversation around her has never exactly gone quiet. Between the fan backlash, the defenders, the meta finale, the budget chatter, and the lingering possibility of a future crossover, it has always felt like a return was possible, even if nobody seemed entirely sure what shape it would take.

Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black, Perry Mason) has now weighed in on a potential return as Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk, and her answer makes it clear that she would not want the character simply dropped into a random Marvel crossover without the right creative voice behind it. Speaking on The Playlist’s Bingeworthy podcast while promoting her new Apple TV series Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, Maslany joked about the reaction to her coming back before explaining what would make a return feel right.

“I don’t know. I think people would be so mad at me being on their screens again,” Maslany said. “What I think is so special about the character is Jessica Gao’s writing and the tone that she brought to the show. I think if She-Hulk were to be in an ensemble, that tone has to be honored.”

Maslany expanded on that idea, saying any future MCU appearance would need someone who really understands Jennifer Walters’ voice, especially if Marvel wants to move her into a bigger ensemble setting. Marvel TV boss Brad Winderbaum recently pushed back against the idea that the show was a failure, saying it was one of Marvel’s best-performing Disney+ series and reached a broader general audience despite the negative online response. He also said he would “love to make more,” though Marvel has not officially announced a second season.

“Yeah. I mean, I don’t know,” Maslany said. “I think it would take somebody like Jessica Gao to weave her into that world because she knows that character so deeply and loves her and gets her tone, but there is something about She-Hulk being the star of her own show that makes sense. Do you know what I mean? Because of the direct address, she is our narrator. So, I think it would be a real cool challenge to see her in some other context, but I do think like the sort of joy of She-Hulk is in the singularness of it.”

General Hospital just saw Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) make a real doozy of a mistake when she got distracted and didn’t give Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) the injection that keeps him paralyzed and locked in. Unless she notices and circles back around to give him the shot, this could change everything.

So, we’re going to talk about how Nina getting distracted could give Drew the advantage he needs over Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) to regain his freedom. Nina’s little oopsie could cost Willow everything.

Nina Gets Distracted While Babysitting Drew

All right. So, this week we saw Nina over at Willow and Drew’s place. She’s over there all the time. Because again, Willow asked Nina to babysit Drew while she takes care of some congressional work. And Willow told Nina about her deal with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) to get more funding for the WSB.

General Hospital: Willow Fills Nina in on her Evil Plan

Willow said that she was doing that in exchange for Jack getting her leverage to use against Drew so he can’t retaliate against her for the shooting or paralyzing him. And Willow told Nina that if Jack doesn’t do what she wants that she promised she would make sure to cut funding to the WSB. Now Nina thinks this is a bad idea and she’s playing with fire, but of course Willow doesn’t.

So, she’s got calls to make so that she can abuse her congressional power for her own benefit, you know, like Drew used to do. And Willow asks Nina to babysit Drew and move him into the bedroom to keep Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) away from Drew. And then Nina asked Willow, shouldn’t she just fire Kai.

Because he knows Willow shot Drew? This was not a great conversation to have in front of Willow’s locked-in hubby. Because Drew just got critical info he didn’t have before because now he knows that Kai knows the truth about Willow shooting him. So he’s the perfect person to try and communicate with.

Willow’s Watching Kai Like a Hawk

So Willow then told Nina that she wants to keep Kai close to keep an eye on him, a keep your enemies close thing. And Nina compared those tactics to mob boss Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), which is kind of interesting. So Kai showed up to drop something off. He asked to see Drew, but Willow lied and said Drew was taking a nap. And then before Willow bailed on her mom, she told Nina, “Be sure to give Drew his next paralytic injection.”

So once they were alone, Nina got the shot ready and apologized to Drew for drugging him, but said, you know, she has to support Willow. That’s when things started going off the rails. Because Nina got distracted by a phone call and she put the syringe down and it was Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) calling to say he had a job for her.

Nina’s Mistake Could Blow Up Willow’s Plan

Now, I’m sure this is something to do with trying to find out what happened to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), you know, so that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) doesn’t go berserk with worry. Because they both suspect that Jack might have been involved. So, Nina made a huge mistake by not giving Drew his shot.

And since Valentin is likely going to urge Nina to do what he wants ASAP, I don’t think that she will remember to give Drew the shot, you know, we’ll see. But if she doesn’t, this mistake of Nina’s could blow up Willow’s plan, blow up her whole life, honestly, because missing his scheduled injection could help Drew function just enough to get a message to somebody.

So, while I doubt Nina forgetting the shot will be a miracle cure, it could be a game changer. I don’t expect Drew to just stand up and walk off if his shot is a couple of hours late, especially because he’s been drugged and locked in for several months. He shouldn’t be able to walk around or run off. But then again, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) woke up from what a multi-year coma and then just jogged out the door. So, there’s that to keep in mind.

Drew Will Try to Communicate with Kai

But I’m guessing it’ll be Kai that Drew tries to communicate with, seeing as Nina was just telling Willow to fire him. And Drew just found out that Kai knows that Willow is a would-be killer. And plus, Drew really likes Kai. He knows the young man is a good person. They got to be friends when he interned for Drew on General Hospital.

And while Kai’s opinion of Drew plummeted once he found out how awful he is, Kai is still worried about Drew because Willow’s his caregiver and he knows she tried to kill her husband. Plus, knowing that Kai would do the right thing, you know, I think Drew can see right away he’s the perfect person to try to communicate with. Elizabeth would have been a good person to figure it out medically, you know, what Willow is doing to Drew, but Willow seems to have convinced Liz to back off.

How Drew Might Be Saved by Kai on General Hospital

So, let’s talk about some ways that Drew might end up being saved by Kai very soon. First, if Drew can regain the ability to speak because it seems like that, you know, speaking would come first and maybe bodily movement later. Even if he could just whisper a few words to Kai, he might be able to alert him to what’s going on. You know, Drew could whisper, “Help me. Willow’s drugging me.”

I think that would be enough to let Kai know that Willow is again doing a very bad thing to her husband. You know, Drew might whisper, “Call 911.” And you know, Kai could call an ambulance. And since he knows Willow’s schedule, he might be able to get an ambulance or the cops there when Willow isn’t there because he knows her schedule since he works for her.

General Hospital: New Charges for Willow?

While Willow cannot, as we’ve talked about before, be arrested or charged for shooting Drew because that would be double jeopardy because she already had a trial for it. She could absolutely be charged with drugging Drew, with spousal abuse, I’m sure other charges, and that could definitely land Willow in prison and make sure she loses her kids.

Another option is that Kai might think enough is enough. And when he finds out what Willow is doing to Drew, he may just go to the cops himself and tell top cop Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) that he knows that Willow shot Drew. You know, Kai can go ahead and confess. Okay, look, I didn’t come clean before. But I was at Drew’s that night. I think he would leave, you know, his girlfriend out of it. Leave Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) out. And Kai could say that he heard Willow’s ringtone for Wiley when the shooter was in the house. And then Kai can also tell the cops about the drugs that Willow’s using on Drew now.

Kai Steps Up for Drew

And Kai might be willing to face whatever consequences there is for not coming forward before. I mean, they could charge him with obstruction of justice, but likely Kai wouldn’t face any charges at all because he’d be coming forward to save Drew from ongoing spousal abuse at the hands of his awful wife, Willow. I also think there’s a chance Drew could whisper to Kai that Willow drugged him and may tell Kai, “Go tell Elizabeth.” You know, since she already realized he was trying to tell her something. So, he might try a multi-pronged approach.

This Is Drew’s Big Chance to Get Help

However it goes down, this I think is Drew’s big chance to get help and get out of this locked in situation. And Kai seems like his best option. Of course, Drew also knows that Sidwell’s coming to kill him. He’s not planning on letting him come out of this locked in state. So, there’s a deeper urgency there. And Willow, of course, doesn’t know any of that. So, I think if Nina is the reason that Drew gets out of this, Willow might be enraged. You know, she may never forgive Nina, even though it’s an honest mistake.

With May sweeps ending May 20th, next week is the last full week of sweeps. I’ve been expecting Willow to be busted and diabolical Drew saved from her during sweeps. So, things are moving along right as I expected. And the thing is, what’s funny with this plot is most fans hate Willow. A lot of fans don’t like Drew any better. So, it’s almost hard to decide who to cheer for in this scenario. All I know is Cameron Mathison has done a great job of acting using nothing but his eyeballs. Not sure if the eyeball stuff would be good for an Emmy reel, but it is impressive work.

Months later, hackers released stolen data from the website Ashley Madison, which led to Josh admitting he was unfaithful to his wife after his account was exposed. The couple, who tied the knot in 2008, remained married and now share seven children.

Josh was arrested in 2021 and later convicted of receiving and possessing child sexual abuse materials. He is currently serving his 151-month sentence in federal prison.

A new development has emerged in the long-running case involving rapper YNW Melly. The Florida artist has once again been denied bond as he awaits retrial in his double murder case.

YNW Melly Denied Bond Again After Seven Years In Jail

On Wednesday, May 6, a Broward County judge denied YNW Melly’s latest bond request, according to NBC 6 South Florida. The rapper, whose real name is Jamell Demons, will remain in custody as he awaits his retrial, scheduled for January 2027.

Demons previously sought bond in 2023 and again in 2025 after the trial ended in a mistrial. Both requests were denied.

The rapper has been behind bars for more than seven years while awaiting a final verdict in the highly publicized case. He is accused of fatally shooting two of his friends, Christopher ‘Juvy’ Thomas Jr. and Anthony ‘Sakchaser’ Williams, in 2018.

His first trial concluded in July 2023 after jurors were unable to reach a unanimous verdict, prompting the judge to declare a mistrial. Prosecutors later confirmed they would move forward with a retrial. If convicted, Demons could face the death penalty.

Attorneys Address Jail Conditions Amid Bond Denial

Following the bond decision, Demons’ attorneys, Drew Findling and Carey Haughwout, released a lengthy statement criticizing the court’s ruling and the conditions their client has allegedly endured while incarcerated. The statement was shared Thursday on YNW Melly’s Instagram account.

“The Court, the State Attorney’s Office, and all who observed this bond hearing should have been deeply troubled by the clear evidence presented regarding the inhumane conditions Mr. Demons has endured for over seven years, with the last three in solitary confinement, while presumed innocent under our Constitution,” the statement read.

The attorneys continued by arguing that the court failed to acknowledge what they described as “shocking circumstances” surrounding Demons’ confinement.

“Mr. Demons remains an innocent man in the eyes of the law. The State failed to secure a conviction once, and we remain confident it will fail again,” the statement continued. “Unfortunately, it now appears that only a jury’s verdict compelling his release will bring an end to the years of unnecessary and unjust punishment he has already suffered.”

CrossFit coach Kerrie Olsen is on life support following an accident during a recent trip to Mexico.

Olsen was riding in a golf cart with her friend when it tipped, causing a traumatic brain injury.

“We were just driving around talking and laughing and just reminiscing,” Olsen’s best friend, Annie Stagg, told a local Utah outlet in May 2026 following the incident. “Next thing you know, we’re in hell.”

After several days in a Mexico hospital, it was confirmed that Olsen had been brought back home to the United States.

“The medevac and the full medical team got her here safely and kept her stable the entire flight,” an update on Olsen’s GoFundMe page read. “Her parents and her three kids met them in a private area at the airport, and they were able to spend a little bit of time with her before she was transported to the ICU.”

Olsen is “still on life support and fully sedated,” the update continued, asking friends and anyone supporting Olsen to allow her a “quiet, controlled environment to heal.”

The GoFundMe page for Olsen has a $500,000 goal, of which nearly $100,000 has been met.
