Cable stolen from M62 overhead power lines near Selby

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information after the theft of cable close to Whitley, near Selby, last weekend.

It happened from around 8.45pm onwards on Saturday, November 22.

“Cable from overhead lines near the M62 was stolen. An investigation has been launched and it remains ongoing,” said a spokesperson for the force.
