Mormon Wives’ Marciano Breaks Silence After Jessi Confesses to Affair
Marciano Brunette sent a subtle message after Jessi Ngatikaura confirmed their affair on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
The Vanderpump Villa star, 31, recorded a TikTok that was shared by the official Cameo account on Saturday, November 15, where he lip-synched to Love Island USA star Huda Mustafa refusing to discuss her love life.
“I can’t speak about my relationships outside the villa,” she said during the show’s reunion in August. “Legal reasons. I’m not allowed to speak.”
Marciano did address his past romantic entanglements when he appeared on season 3 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, which premiered Thursday, November 13. He maintained that he had an affair with Jessi, 33, which she confirmed early on in the season.
“I wouldn’t say I was in love with him. It only lasted about two weeks so it was quick. But I will say I confided in him a lot,” Jessi exclusively told Us Weekly ahead of the season 3 premiere. “The dynamic with [my husband] Jordan that I had had in my marriage, I hadn’t really talked to anyone about it. My family and friends had been aware because they’d seen things but I tried to be like, ‘Everything’s fine.’”
Jessi recalled sharing her marriage struggles with Marciano while navigating a separation from Jordan.
“I did feel a connection to him in that sense because he was there for me and he made me feel special,” she said. “Jordan would put me down a lot. Marciano told me how pretty and cool and fun I was. I felt like there was a connection there because he was giving me something I was lacking. But I wouldn’t say I was in love with him.”
After a two-week emotional affair, Jessi came clean to Jordan about Marciano.
“Jordan found out when he went through my phone and put an end to it. But it was a blessing in disguise because it needed to end,” she told Us. “I did not want to carry this on for months or years. I didn’t know how to get out of it.”
Jessi blamed Marciano for outing their relationship in the season 2 finale.
“He was hurt that I ended what we had and so it was his way of getting revenge — or just maybe telling my story to make himself feel better. But I definitely know that Demi [Engemann] was a part of it as well,” Jessi claimed. “She was coaching him. They were talking a lot, and she was a big part of him exaggerating my story and talking about it in the first place.”
Jessi claimed she hadn’t spoken to Marciano “in over six months” and has “blocked him” on every platform to prevent contact. Marciano, for his part, also alleged on screen that he shared a kiss with Demi Engemann, which she has denied for months.
“He’s trying to protect him. He’s in the wrong, and I think he’s scared. It’s fair to say that [the] majority of people that will come forward and are trying to speak out on things or diminish my experience or come out, it’s the protest too much oftentimes,” Demi, 30, told Us in May. “It’s not always the case — but especially with people who weren’t involved in the situation that are going to come forward and have so much to say about it or opinions on the matter. To me, it’s a clear sign of damage control.”
She continued: “I’m just trying to stay in my lane as much as I can. I am trying to control what I can control, lean on my husband, lean on my family and then handle it professionally and handle it the best way that I possibly can. Given the fact that I was a victim in this situation, that’s how I’ve decided to handle it. There’s no right or wrong way to handle this type of situation, but I am doing the best I can. Luckily, I have the support of my husband and the truth on my side.”
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is currently streaming on Hulu.
