American Eagle Boosts Guidance on Strong Start to Holiday Season

American Eagle raised its same-store sales guidance for the current quarter and full year as it sees a strong start to the holiday shopping season.

“We are seeing a clear acceleration from the third quarter, including a record Thanksgiving weekend with strong performance across brands and channels,” Chief Executive Jay Schottenstein said during a call with analysts.
