Ruby Wax has fumed at her early exit from I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and claimed that she has been ‘ripped from the womb’ after losing the public vote

Ruby Wax has fumed at her early exit from I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! The actress, 72, was amongst the favourites to win the ITV survival series but was evicted from the Australian jungle on Tuesday night in a shock twist.

The Absolutely Fabulous star did not hold back on her feelings after losing the public vote, and appeared via video link on ITV’s This Morning where she spoke candidly of her feelings over her early exit to hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.

She said: “I’m totally devastated, I’ve been ripped from my family, ripped from the womb, I am so upset, I can’t even tell you. I belong in that jungle, I wanna go to my people.”

The former talk show host lived in less-than-luxury conditions with rapper Aitch, Emmerdale legend Lisa Riley and Twitch streamer Ginge amongst others, but despite getting to know her campmates over the past few weeks, she can still not tell who will be crowned King or Queen of the jungle.

She said: “I don’t know, I can’t say because everybody came with a different talent. Whoever the audience thinks their King or Queen is, I have no idea. I like them all.”

Ruby’s exit came after model Kelly Brook, sports presenter Alex Scott, comedian Eddie Kadi and reality star Vogue Williams also left the jungle.

She said: “I totally forgot the outside world, we were very bonded.” She added: “They were friendly and I am sad I have lost them….I was their Queen, how could I be abducted.”

She said her “charm” was the way she could be naughty in camp. She added: “I can’t believe I have been voted out.” She was also left shocked after learning the truth about the milkbottles saying: “They’re funny but they will have to be punished.”

But fans were left furious by her exit. One said: “What! She was the most entertaining person in the jungle.” Another said: “She was an icon and deserved much better.”

One said: “How has she gone and Martin Kemp stayed.” It all came just hours after Aitch’s beloved sister flew to Australia for an emotional reunion. The rapper’s family has arrived Down Under in the last 24 hours in a boost to the star, whose manager was the only person supporting him so far in person.

And Gracie was seen on Tuesday at the celebrity hotel as ITV filmed the arrival of Kelly Brook after she became the fourth person to be evicted from the jungle. She was filmed chatting to Kelly, who told her: “I have heard so much about you…can I have a hug.”

She added: “We heard your song last night. It was wonderful. Your brother misses you so much. I bet you can’t wait to see him.” Aitch has a close bond with his two twin sisters, Gracie and Hattie, who at 16 are ten years younger than him, and Gracie, who has Down’s Syndrome, in particular, has played a big part in his life.
