Ulta Beauty Boosts Fiscal-Year Guidance as Third-Quarter Sales Climb

Ulta Beauty ULTA 12.65%increase; green up pointing triangle bumped up its fiscal-year guidance after sales climbed in its latest quarter, boosted by growth across all categories and channels.

The cosmetics and fragrances retailer said it saw particular strength in its ecommerce segment, with same-store sales growth in the mid-teens. The company’s online business has benefited from a new replenish-and-save feature and Venmo payment capabilities, as well as faster delivery times as the company expands its ship-from-store program, Chief Executive Kecia Steelman said during a call with analysts.
