Sam Thompson reveals ex Zara McDermott stole one of his favourite possessions as he goes official with new girlfriend

SAM Thompson has revealed his ex Zara McDermott swiped one of his most prized possessions after their split.

The Made In Chelsea star, 33, spilled the beans on the cheeky antics on his Staying Relevant podcast with best mate Pete Wicks, 37.

I’m a Celebrity star Sam and Strictly‘s Zara, 28, confirmed the end of their relationship in January after five years together.

During their latest podcast episode, TOWIE alum Pete quizzed the E4 show alum about what he would wear to a swanky showbiz fashion event.

Sam said: “Got to be the Crocs. Shock value.

“Get the jelly shoes on.”

Pete then continued: “You haven’t worn the Crocs for some time now because you…” before tailing off.

Sam then confessed: “Yeah Zara took them.”

Pete said: “Oh god.’

Sam then took the conversation in a different direction and said: “I need a new pair of Crocs.

“I actually don’t have any Crocs.”

Crocs are popular lightweight foam shoes which often have air holes on the front and a strap at the back.

Sam and Zara used to live together in west London prior to their split.

Sam’s confession comes just days after he went Instagram official with new love, Talitha Balinska.

The Sun revealed in October that he was dating the house music DJ after splitting with Zara after five years together.

The pair first met last year on a photoshoot for Sam’s sunglasses brand Dinelli Eyewear.

Following his break-up from Zara, Sam and Talitha went on several dates.

Speaking to Pete later on in the podcast he said: ‘I’ve got a girlfriend. I’ve got a girlfriend!”

Explaining how they went out for dinner, Sam then revealed the moment he asked Talitha to be official and said: “Yeah, I just, I just said, ‘Look, I really like you. I mean, I really, really like you and you make me feel really… comfortable.’”

Continuing, the star said: “Yeah, I just said: ‘You know, I wouldn’t be dating someone this amount of time if I didn’t think it had legs to last. So will you be my girlfriend?’ And she said ‘yes’. And so I said, ‘great’”.
