Australian house prices have declined for the first time in 22 months in December, as higher interest rates and worsening affordability constraints weaken buyer demand. Ray White Chief Economist Nerida Conisbee tells “Bloomberg: The Asia Trade” that Australia’s housing market may continue to cool this year, but three factors should prevent any more significant drop in house prices.
