Crystal Palace into Champions League places as Guehi snatches late winner at Fulham

Good afternoon, and welcome to live coverage of Fulham vs Crystal Palace from the Premier League, as the visitors look to climb into the top four. Palace come into this London derby in sixth, but victory will see them go ahead of Everton and Chelsea and into the Champions League spots.

Oliver Glasner’s men suffered their first home defeat in the Premier League since February last weekend as they threw away a one-goal lead against Manchester United. But they returned to winning ways in the week with a 1-0 win at Burnley, thanks to Daniel Munoz’s header, and have now taken three victories from their last five league games.

The clean sheet at Turf Moor on Wednesday was Palace’s seventh in the league this season, highlighting their defensive solidity this term, with only league leaders Arsenal registering more clean sheets. Mikel Arteta’s men are also the only team to concede fewer goals than Palace this season, with the south London outfit letting in just 11 goals in their opening 14 games.

They face a Fulham attack brimming with confidence, though, having scored four goals in a Premier League match for the first time in 52 attempts on Tuesday. However, it remarkably still ended in defeat for Marco Silva’s men against Manchester City at Craven Cottage, with the visitors holding on to clinch a 5-4 victory, having led 5-1 shortly after half-time.
