Manchester United are reportedly willing to sell Marcus Rashford amid growing concerns over his lifestyle away from football and his substantial £325,000-per-week wages.
The England international’s future at Old Trafford has become increasingly uncertain under Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s new regime.
Senior figures at the club are particularly worried about the 27-year-old academy graduate’s focus on football, believing he faces multiple distractions that are negatively impacting his performances.
Despite scoring three goals in four Premier League matches under new manager Ruben Amorim, United are now open to fielding offers for their long-serving forward.
Marcus Rashford could be sold in January by United to balance the books

The forward’s off-field conduct has been under scrutiny following a recent disciplinary incident in Belfast, where he was dropped from United’s FA Cup match against Newport County after being spotted on a night out.
This resulted in a two-week wage fine and wasn’t his first disciplinary issue under former manager Erik ten Hag.
Manchester United’s willingness to sell Rashford is partly driven by significant financial pressures, with the club having accumulated losses before tax of £312.9million across the past three seasons.
The Old Trafford club has spent £600million in the transfer market since summer 2022, pushing them close to the Premier League’s spending regulations.
Rashford’s potential transfer fee would represent pure profit on United’s books, while removing his substantial wages would provide more financial flexibility.

Ruben Amorim has been told he will not be able to spend lavishly in January

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has emphasised the importance of adhering to the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability rules since his arrival, making a significant sale increasingly attractive.
Under new manager Ruben Amorim, Rashford’s future remains uncertain despite recent improved form.
Amorim has publicly addressed the situation, stating: “We’ll try to find the right solution for him but he has to be Marcus, first of all, to try to return to that moment.”

The manager has also acknowledged tactical challenges, noting: “That position [against Ipswich] is not the best one for him.
“Especially in a game like that, he was fighting with two giants.”
Paris Saint-Germain continues to be linked with the forward, while a move to Saudi Arabia represents another potential destination.
Any departure would need to align with Amorim’s plans, who is reportedly working with a tighter budget than his predecessor.
