Liverpool might still have won every game in the Champions League this season – but their fans are not happy with one player.
Mohamed Salah scored the only goal of the game – netting from the penalty spot in the second half in controversial circumstances.
Former Manchester United player Donny van de Beek was adjudged to have fouled Luis Diaz in the box when he stepped on the back of his foot.
The referee was recommended to go and see the incident on the pitchside monitor by VAR, promptly changing his decision to a penalty – though it was a soft one.

Nevertheless, Salah made no mistake with a thumping drive – scoring his second goal in the Champions League this season.
But overall, it was a stifling night for the Reds, who were largely frustrated by Girona.
The Spaniards will be scorning their own profligacy after messing up a number of chances, with former Premier League duo Arnaut Danjuma and Daley Blind guilty of glaring misses.
On the other end of the pitch, Darwin Nunez led the line for Liverpool – though suffered a difficult night.
The Uruguay international struggled to hold the ball up and was well-martialed by Girona’s defence.

And when the striker did finally get a chance to open the scoring in the first half, he mishit his shot straight into ex-Tottenham star Paulo Gazzaniga’s arms.
Eventually, Reds boss Arne Slot hauled off the former Benfica star and brought on Cody Gakpo, much to the relief of the fans.
Liverpool fans have been very patient with Nunez, who now in his third season at Anfield and has yet to truly make the No. 9 position his own.
His no-show on Tuesday night was the 15th match of the season where he has failed to hit the back of the net.
