The main event will see PWS Heavyweight champion BT Gunn take on challenger ‘The Natural’ Craig Anthony

Santa Claus will take a break from preparing presents to take care of business in the wrestling ring at a fantastic festive showcase this Friday night.

Some of Scotland’s biggest grappling names – including stars who recently took part in tryouts for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) – will also be on the bill at Pro Wrestling Scotland’s (PWS) stacked card at the Knights of St Columba in Moodiesburn on December 12.

PWS started up just before the COVID pandemic began and has gone from strength to strength, with this Friday’s show marking second consecutive Christmas showdowns in Moodiesburn.

Ryan Gordon, originally from Airdrie and now living in Coatbridge, performs for PWS as manager RPG – and is determined to enjoy greater success against Santa Claus in the squared circle than he did last year.

Ryan told Lanarkshire Live: “This year, we are inviting back Santa to meet all the kids once again.

“Last year my intention as RPG was to steal the presents intended for the children, and put Santa in his place.

“Unfortunately, Santa got the upper hand on me and hit me with a big red right hand.

“But I have been working hard in the gym training since last December, waiting for this chance to get my revenge on Santa.

“Last year it was just business…. this time it’s personal!”

Ryan added: “We also have some of the biggest names in Scotland appearing on this show and it promises to be one of our biggest events to date.

This Friday’s show will be fun for all the family

“Our main event will feature our PWS Heavyweight champion, and my client, BT Gunn, taking on a strong challenger in The Natural Craig Anthony.

“We will also have Daz Black defending his PWS Openweight Championship
