Nicolas Kuhn’s injury that kept him out of Celtic’s win over Dundee United is “not too serious” but he and Daizen Maeda will miss Saturday’s trip to Ross County.
Kuhn, 25, was set to feature in Wednesday’s 2-0 win at Celtic Park but was withdrawn with a thigh injury shortly before kick-off.
Maeda, 27, did play and scored the opener but picked up a strain. Between the two wingers, they have scored 30 goals this season.
“Daizen has obviously played a lot of football and just felt something that we didn’t want to aggravate,” said manager Brendan Rodgers.
“He’s gone for a scan so it’s not too serious but it just rules him out of this game.
“And likewise with Nicolas, he felt something just in the warm-up, had the scan, nothing too serious, but just too much of a risk and he won’t be able to go this weekend.
“Luis Palma sadly had a bereavement overnight so he won’t travel with the squad. James Forrest is still out.”
Both Maeda and Kuhn could feature away to Dundee on Tuesday.
