Interactive Brokers joins ADX in latest push to expand global investor access

The move is aimed at expanding global investor access to ADX-listed securities and reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s position as a growing hub for cross-border investment.

Interactive Brokers now enables its international client base to trade directly in all securities listed on the ADX alongside more than 160 global markets. UAE-based investors will also be able to use the platform’s multi-currency account support, including the ability to hold UAE dirhams and conduct foreign exchange conversions for funding and trading.

ADX said the onboarding of Interactive Brokers supports its strategy to diversify investor channels, deepen liquidity and improve global accessibility to its expanding suite of investment products, which includes equities, ETFs, derivatives, fixed income and digital trading solutions.

The development follows recent ADX initiatives that have broadened retail and regional participation, including partnerships with digital investment platforms such as Thndr and eToro. The exchange has also strengthened market connectivity through partners such as the ICE Global Network, which has extended the reach of ADX market data internationally.
