Over COVID I built out an AMD Ryzen 9 5950x with 128GB ram, a PowerColor RX 6700 XT Red Devil and enough fast NMVe storage to rival the NSA… LOL on the bare metal I run win 11 Pro (for gaming) and Hyper-V which has my work system as a VM… seamless transition from guest to host and both access some common storage… this looks sweet, don't get me wrong but with virtualization nowadays, this is overkill 🙂 & I Love It!

OMG not Alex spending ages trying to get the really hard front IO plugged in wondering why this was the first standard ATX motherboard ever to have front IO on the back corner of the board and then forcing it in. Then when it didn't stay in there, opposed to checking and making sure it was right he just hot glued it in lmao ….That is pretty good 🤣👍🤦🏻♂

I'd use USB hub with an input switch which would switch all the peripherals from one PC to another. Much cleaner look with just one set of peripherals and you switch between the two in a matter of seconds 🤷🏻♂️

I like it, but I would have liked to have seen the hardware be more of a 2 in 1
So having the two computers but then externally they be switchable, so you have one huge monitor, one keyboard, one mouse and you can flip between the two systems.

that way you have 2 computers but ultimately it comes across as being a single computer
then also using something like the G9 you could still have both systems running at once and still be usable

I like the desk idea and though my working needs can be supplied by my PC, I would use the second space to run the water cooking safely and away from the expensive components.

couple of years back when desks that you could move up and down were more expensive than they are today, 2 grand for a glorified case and okay desk were just about 1k off the usual ones. if they make this more affordable or others try and work with the concept I would probably think about getting this!
