Tyson Fury makes huge U-turn over Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul with controversial verdict
TYSON FURY has made a huge U-turn over his controversial verdict of Anthony Joshua’s fight with Jake Paul.
The two go face-to-face in a £100million Netflix bout in Miami in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Fury, 37, had predicted AJ to come up short against the YouTuber-turned-boxer.
He posted on social media claiming that Paul would win by knockout.
He said: “I don’t know about [it being a] tune-up, I think Jake Paul knocks him out.
“I think that AJ is a spent force, and I think Jake Paul is on the rise.
“I like his new heavyweight look. He is a bit chubby, a bit bulky, he is getting there.”
However, the Wythenshawe warrior has now changed his tune and no longer thinks the bout will be cut short.
Fury is backing the two fighters to go the distance and for the result to be decided on points.
He revealed his new prediction on OOOsch TV: “I think it will go the distance.

“I think it will be a move around and a points job, absolutely.”
Fury seemed to suggest that AJ would “carry” Paul to the end of the eight rounds and avoid any major injury in the ring.
However, AJ has insisted that he will not hold back against the social media star.
He told TMZ: “I haven’t seen that part but no, there is no clause.
“I heard he fought Mike Tyson in 140z gloves and that he was going to fight Gervonta Davis in 12oz gloves and then he chose to fight me in 10oz gloves.
“He wants to hurt me, I think he wants to take me out

“I understand people’s concerns but they have to start believing in Jake.
“They don’t believe because they can’t get their head around how he beat those guys.
“How did he beat Anderson Silva, how did he beat Nate Diaz, how did he beat Mike Tyson?
“I’m telling you there is no stipulation in the contract where I have to take it easy.”

A true Christmas miracle!
The world will stand still THIS FRIDAY as the face of British boxing, Anthony Joshua, is all set to go up against social media sensation Jake Paul.
AJ steps in on a month’s notice after Paul’s ‘David vs Goliath’ Gervonta Davis clash was axed due to Tank’s civil suit case.
And Joshua will be desperate not to suffer the same fate as legends Mike Tyson and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, who both lost to YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul.
Particularly as a handsome figure was negotiated to get this Judgement Day deal over the line due to AJ’s DAZN contract.
