Why Lisa Riley is exempt from I’m A Celeb’s hardest trial
I’m A Celebrity kicks off for its 25th season this Sunday, November 16, as stars including Lisa Riley, Martin Kemp, Kelly Brook, and Jack Osbourne all head to the jungle.
Ant and Dec will once again welcome famous faces Down Under as they all spend three weeks living in the jungle and facing Bushtucker Trials.
The Bushtucker Trials are one of I’m A Celebrity’s most popular segments, as the stars face terrifying tasks and eating challenges.
Although most of the celebrities will be able to take part in every Trial, soap star Lisa Riley will be exempt from one of the toughest tests.
Why Lisa Riley is exempt from eating Bushtucker Trials
Lisa, who is best known for playing Mandy Dingle in Emmerdale, is a vegetarian, meaning she is exempt from all eating trials on I’m A Celebrity.
The Bushtucker eating trials see stars eat an array of grotesque items that often leave the celebrities in disgust and despair.
Lisa is not the first vegetarian star to be exempt from the I’m A Celebrity trials, with Coronation Street’s Beverley Callard, presenter Fleur East and The Vamps singer James McVey all previously exempt.
During meal times, stars will be provided with both vegetarian and vegan options will be available for the campmates.
I’m A Celebrity to make major rule change to trial voting
ITV’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! is shaking up its rules in a bid to shake up the show.
It’s reported that a new rule change will prevent celebrities from completing more than 2 Buchtucker trials in a row.

The change follows years of fans complaining that it is often one celebrity chosen by the public to take on the trials.
Previously, Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullogh was voted to do seven Bushtucker Trials in a row.
I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! starts on Sunday (November 16) at 9pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player.
