Can these be hooked to Sunnyboy Storage which takes in 320~451 VDC from a BYD H-10.2 battery. These can be put in series to get to a 300VDC mark. The startup voltage for the Sunny Boy Storage is 100V DC and max 10a current but it is rated to accept input range of 100 V – 550 V DC.

If them bus bars are big enough and they have a good BMS setup then putting the nagative and positive on opposite ends didn't realy do much. Reson why is the entire bus bar would be equaly charged across the entire bar.

Will thanx for your great training. I bought and installed 2nd eg4 life power. Thus morning I turned on signature solars 48 v charger to recharge them but for 3 hours red light flashes. Was all full charged yesterday and OK. Any ideas?

At first, I did not like Will's style, and not the content. Will's clear and neat wires. However, when Will demonstated used hospital batteries with 92% of their capacity left, I really took notice, as I realised the true value of buying used batteries and his tests for battery capacity.

You've got some great videos!
But I'd like you and everyone to know, I just paid $16,123.21 to SIGNATURE SOLAR 903-4412090 TX on 07/10/23 for EG4-LL Lithium Batteries Kit (V2) | 30.72kWh with 6 Server Rack Batteries with Pre-Assembled Enclosed Rack with Door & Wheels and the EG4 18KPV Hybrid Inverter. The next day, 07/11/23, I drove to Texas from Florida to save on shipping to pick these up after they notified me it would be ready for pickup. When I got there, after making an appointment to pick them up an having to be there within a 15-minute time period or they canceled your appointment, they notified me they did not have the rack because they were having trouble with the maker and the welding. They are selling batteries and the rack, without the rack!!! This does no good because you can't install the batteries without the rack. I'm waiting for the rack and my warranties are running out. They told me they would send me the rack, but they have no idea when. You can't build a system without the rack!!! But they are selling them and not telling you they don't have the racks because they charge $10,119.00 for the set. If you look on their website, you'll see some items listed as "Out of Stock", but not the racks because this too much money to lose. BUYER BEWARE!

I'm about to install these batteries in a garage that is not climate controlled in texas that get ove 100 degrees on the regular. The manual says they are good up to 90. Will this be a problem?

My home uses about 90 kwh monthly. . no need for such a massive battery Bank system here thankfully ..so yeah this was not helpful video for me

Are Bus Bar diagonal configuration a myth? Can you actually measure a voltage differential gradance in a Bus bar?

Originally i was considering to go with the buy and use method but looking closer I get more bang for my bucks to build one. Way way more bang for the bucks!
300AH 16S 51.2V with rack, bms and active balancing for up to $1500. Seriously diy is a way to go. Ready to use is 100ah that is 5120Wh up to $1500 VS 300AH that is 15,360 Wh for about the same cost. 3 times the power for about the same cost so it is a no brainer the DIY method is the better option.
Now i have not mentioned for the DIY method i could pick and choose for the bestter bms and balancer (active balancer with 2a or more) which means it is even better for certain with the DIY. There is NONE of the ready to go server rack that has active balancing of 2A or more for that price and God knows what kind of bms they put in there.
Who says that ready to go type is better does not know what they are talking about!!!!!!
Now my diy method requires understanding of what are buying and know how to search proficiently online and of course some electronic and mechanical knowledges to assemble one. The majority of the public 99% is NOT in the 1% as mine so they go for the easier one.
I find assemble battery pack is fun and very easy but then I am NO newbie in this as i have been doing this since 2017. Majority of consumer is NOT so that explains the popularity of the plug and play power pack.

Anyone here buy free nights and weekends from a utility company, charge them at night and use them all day? Theoretically you could have no electric bill will no solar panels installed?

That is amazing.
I built a backup system in the late 90s using 24 AGM batteries to get the same capacity. This was a literal ton of batteries and took up much more space than that rack.

DO you use any communications to the charger/discharger/inverter or do you just charge and discharge with the rated voltages and let the BMS in each battery handle the rest ?

Your videos are amazing! You've mentioned several times about avoiding a ground loop regarding the sub panels which makes complete sense, however, what about grounding the server rack to earth ground? The manual recommends this but I'm questioning this requirement? To clarify, I'm speaking of the grounding lug on the rack, not the negative bus bar!

7+ months after receiving a bad 24v battery Signature finally confirmed they received the 24v low voltage since day 1 battery but they don’t know when a replacement will be available.
What a nightmare to TRY to deal with them!!

We bought 2 48v EG4 batteries and an inverter about 30 days ago. So far one of the batteries has failed and a week later the inverter failed. The company is very slow to respond and refund. Lots of hoops to jump through and they don't have product on hand to replace the batteries. So frustrated. Can a different inverter be used with the remaining EG4 battery? So disappointed in this company.

Will I love you videos and have learned so much from you. I am preparing to begin assembling my system and looking at your diagram on your wiring here for 2 racks of batteries I'm curious why one set for Battery #1 uses 4/0 copper cable and Battery #2 uses 2/0 copper cable? I have two racks (6 each) of the LiFePOWER 4 batteries for my system, two 6500ex inverters along with the new Eg4 Chargeverter. The 48 solar panels arrive tomorrow. I hope for your reply.

hi, I am buying an indoor wall mounted EG4. I have Schneider Inverter xw6048 with latest firmware. In addition I have insight facility. I am told by Schneider that XW6048 does not have the control board required to allow closed-loop battery comms. Is that true? Any workaround for BMS to communicate with the Inverter? Basically to give status of SOC.
