Bruno Fernandes ‘Absolutely Furious’ at FT After Man Utd vs Bournemouth
Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes was spotted after the full-time whistle, acting ‘absolutely furious’ following their draw against Bournemouth.
The Red Devils were involved in an absolute thriller at Old Trafford, in a game that looked like both sides were going to take the three points at different stages. United opened the scoring early in the game, before Bournemouth hit back thanks to Antoine Semenyo. Casemiro scored late in the first half, meaning Ruben Amorim’s side went into the break 2-1 up.
After half-time, the Cherries struck twice early on to flip the game on its head, but United did the same as Fernandes and Matheus Cunha scored late on. Just moments later, Bournemouth equalised to make it 4-4, with both sides undoubtedly disappointed with the result.
Bruno Fernandes Spotted ‘Absolutely Furious’ After Man Utd Draw
Journalist Steven Railston spotted Fernandes after the final whistle, with many United supporters already leaving the stadium, and the Portuguese midfielder was visibly angry as some of his team-mates tried to approach him.
Fernandes’ reaction speaks volumes about how he must feel about this current United side. The attacking players certainly did enough to win the game, with Fernandes at the heart of that, but defensively, United were all over the place, and that’s been a huge problem this season.

Amorim Has to Solve Defensive Issues
There are only so many games that Fernandes can carry United from an attacking perspective. The former Sporting CP midfielder has the right to be furious after scoring, creating five chances, and producing an assist. If United are able to score four times on their own turf, then there’s absolutely no way they shouldn’t be winning the game.
United’s last clean sheet was over two months ago, and their attacking options certainly weren’t to blame against Bournemouth. There’s no doubt the likes of Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko, and Matheus Cunha can do more, but Amorim has to sort it out at the back to build the foundations for United to build and progress.
