Saudi Arabia’s non-oil exports hit record $82bn in first half of 2025
Saudi Arabia’s non-oil exports reached SR307bn ($81.9bn) in the first half of 2025, marking the highest semi-annual growth on record, according to the Kingdom’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources.
Bandar Alkhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Export Development Authority, confirmed the milestone during a dialogue session held as part of the Made in Saudi Expo 2025.
Speaking during the session with Syrian Minister of Economy and Industry Dr. Mohammad Nidal Al-Shaar, Alkhorayef said Saudi Vision 2030 has played a central role in driving record performance and sustained growth in non-oil exports over recent years.

Alkhorayef also highlighted opportunities for cooperation between KSA and Syria, particularly in the development of industrial cities.
He said this could enable Syria to benefit from the Kingdom’s experience in export development and local content support, contributing to Syria’s broader economic growth.
The minister emphasised the efficiency, skill and craftsmanship demonstrated by Syrian investors operating within the Kingdom’s industrial sector, and expressed hope that industry would become a key pillar of Syria’s future economic advancement.
Addressing bilateral trade, Alkhorayef noted that non-oil exports to Syria reached SR1.2bn ($320m) in the first nine months of 2025, underlining the strengthening trade relationship between the two countries.
