The 2026 Ferrari Luce “Tailor Made,” identified as “Chassis 0,” is the first production chassis from the Italian luxury automaker’s new electric vehicle program, according to RM Sotheby’s.

The one-of-a-kind Ferrari was sold during RM Sotheby’s Monterey auction, with all proceeds benefiting educational initiatives through the Ferrari Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity. The buyer’s premium was waived for the sale.
The Luce marks a major milestone for Ferrari as the company enters the fully electric vehicle market. Ferrari has described the model as the first fully electric car in the Prancing Horse’s history.

The $40 million example was configured through Ferrari’s Tailor Made personalization program and features several details developed specifically for the vehicle.

Its exterior is finished in Madreperla Semi-Gloss paint, which Ferrari says produces iridescent reflections that shift from green to violet depending on the angle and intensity of the light.

Inside, the Luce features Perla-colored Le Mans metallic leather made from specially selected Swiss hides, along with Grigio Corvara secondary elements instead of traditional black trim.
Ferrari also equipped the car with dedicated wheels, bespoke brake calipers and special Ferrari badging set against an optical white background. A plaque identifies the vehicle as “Chassis 0,” distinguishing it as the first production chassis in the Luce program.

The winning bidder will not take immediate possession. Following the auction, the car is expected to return to Ferrari’s headquarters in Maranello, Italy, with final delivery currently scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
The vehicle was built to U.S. specifications. If it was purchased by a buyer outside the U.S., that buyer will be responsible for export, import and federalization requirements, according to the auction listing.

As we just wake over the trading that you’ve seen in the latest period in the second quarter, the line here was trading has accelerated in the United States. You just want to unpick that for us. How has trading been across the portfolio?

Yes. Karen, it’s good to be with you. Look, as you mentioned, we had a very good first half of the year. Our RevPAR was up 4%. We had 10% growth in EBIT, 13% growth in earnings per share, and we confirmed our outlook for the year. We feel good about the rest of the year and really beyond. The United States was a standout, not just because of the World Cup, but actually because of the underlying fundamentals of the economy. Your callers earlier were talking about strong investment in infrastructure and AI and data centers, that’s hundreds of billions of dollars, but it’s really broader than that. It’s manufacturing, it’s energy, it’s pharma. It’s all the reshoring that’s coming into the country. So we think it’s pretty broad-based. You still have pretty high employment levels, wage growth, GDP growing at 2%. Consumers are still spending, especially on experiences, and that’s the industry we’re really in. So we feel good

The Welsh Government has launched its latest intake of apprentices.
The chosen 35 apprenticeships will be deployed across the administration ranging from transport and tourism to energy and education.

The Welsh Government, which employs around 5,700 civil servants has delivered its apprenticeship scheme for a number of years, providing development opportunities across the organisation. In the most recent recruitment campaign, around 70 individuals were appointed through the scheme.
The new apprenticeship roles are now open to application with vacancies will remain open throughout September.
Sam Faulkner, former apprentice and current apprenticeships and early talent manager at Welsh Government said:“An apprenticeship opened the door for me. Now I get to hold it open for others. I started my career as an apprentice, looking for an opportunity – what I found was confidence and the chance to make a difference. Someone believed in my potential, and now I have the privilege of doing the same for others.

Golf influencer and social media personality Paige Spiranac offered a rare, candid look into her personal dating history during a recent YouTube video, revealing that she has dated far fewer people than many might assume given her massive online following, while also disclosing a pair of celebrity crushes she developed during her junior golf days.
Spiranac made the comments in a video titled “Confession time,” part of her HOT BIRDS series, which she filmed while playing a solo round of golf on a course in Florida. The format allowed her to address personal questions directly to camera between shots, a style she has used previously to discuss topics she said most people would not typically ask her about in public.
“No, I actually haven’t dated anyone famous before,” Spiranac said in the video, directly addressing persistent rumors and speculation that have circulated about her romantic life given her frequent public collaborations with professional athletes and other high-profile figures. She went on to describe her broader dating history as relatively limited. “I actually haven’t dated that many people in general,” she said. “I was homeschooled from fourth grade all the way until college with a very sheltered life.”
Spiranac elaborated further on how her upbringing shaped perceptions of her personality, noting that people often draw a direct connection between her homeschooling background and aspects of how she comes across publicly. “When I tell people I was homeschooled, they go, ‘Ah, that makes sense,’” she said.

Also had a crush on Xander,” she said.
Spiranac’s connection to Schauffele extends beyond a passing junior golf crush; the two both attended San Diego State University, with Spiranac transferring in after spending her freshman year at the University of Arizona. Schauffele met his now-wife, Maya, while attending SDSU during roughly the same period Spiranac was also enrolled there. In a separate previous interview on “The SPINvitational,” Spiranac had addressed the situation more directly, acknowledging that her interest in Schauffele had not been reciprocated. “I did go to school at SDSU with Xander Schauffele. And another fun fact is I had a crush on him, and he wanted nothing to do with me,” she said at the time, adding that Schauffele’s relationship with his future wife had unfolded during that same period at the university. “He met his wife Maya at SDSU, so it was meant to be. Didn’t work out for me in that way.”
When asked more broadly about what she looks for in a potential partner, Spiranac offered a lighthearted explanation tied directly to her background in the sport. “I don’t really have a type,” she said. “But my type is someone who can hit a golf ball really well.” She elaborated further on that preference in a separate interview, describing an attraction specifically tied to technical skill on the course. “There’s just something to it that just works for me,” she said.
