    Idk why people are so mad at modders i was modding too but i literally just had fun creating cars, driving around, etc not even griefing and even kicking annoying modders, but since i saved all my cars in the mod menu itself and it would take ages to grind for that kind of money and i dont wanna play on ps4 its kinda got boring playing the game the grind on ps4 was good and all but doing it a second time nah

    A week later, I can log into the game, I can play Online (PC here, so any Linux/Steam Deck player, sorry, still not good for you, guys), but apparently my in game friend list just disappeared, it's empty. I have no friends, my life is sad. XD Though the Social Club does say, they are all fine and safe and stuff. But yea, I can't join them and they can't join me.

    Imagine not having an anti-cheat for over a decade, then complaining about not having one all those years, only to finally get one, then constantly DDoS the servers because they added the anti-cheat. First off, nobody is realistically playing gta online daily on a steam deck. Second, why are you using Linux in 2024 almost 2025 instead of windows? Do you seriously think that'll keep you safe in todays day in age? You lost the cyber security fight just connecting to your WiFi..

    I wish Rockstar patch Battleye so that whenever you run into a hacker/modder and they crash your session or messes with you….. then Battleye records the session with the modder having fun with his sweet mod menu and get the modder banned instead of the player minding his own business. Rockstar, if you are watching this comment, you better program Battleye anti cheat to do this

Defining a Server
A server provides services to other computers on a network. A server can be an expensive Windows 2008 Server, or a simple Windows XP Home computer with a shared printer.
Operating System
Server Operating Systems are more stable and secure then Desktop operating Systems
Server Operating Systems and their Software are generally much more expensive then Desktop counterparts
Server Operating Systems are generally not as easy to administer as Desktop Operating Systems
Hardware
A Server can use ANY hardware to operate, but Server Hardware is made to be more reliable then desktop hardware.
Xeon Processors are standard processors used in servers
Redundant Power Supply allow one power Supply to Fail while the Server is Still Running
RAID — Allows for a Hard Drive to fail without crashing the Server
ECC RAM is RAM that does a self test. It is more stable then regular RAM, but much more expensive.
Types of Servers
Software features — multiple features can be on one box
Security and Authentication gives access to network resources
Print Servers share printers on a network
File Servers share files on a network
Web/ FTP Servers provide websites on a network
Mail Servers provide email routing for an organization
Database Servers store data for outside applications
Remote Access Servers allow Internet users to access the internal network. Usually a VPN connection.
Final Thoughts…
Buy what you need… Many people buy a $5000 server when all they need is a Dell bargain bin system. .
