Eden in Wigan praised for its peaceful painting and cafe

You can tuck into an afternoon tea and combine your trip with a paint a pot session every day of the week.

Eden Tearoom and Galleries in Newburgh, Wigan, offers “a tearoom, art gallery with artisan retail shop, pottery workshop, and paint-a-pot studio”, according to its website.

TikTok user @lifeinlancashire shared her visit and said you can paint your own pots and even join some classes and courses if you wish.

She said: “The tearoom has a beautiful breakfast and brunch menu but they also do afternoon tea”.

After enjoying a breakfast at Eden’s she added that it’s a great spot to “take a breakfast date”.

For anyone wanting to eat before or after they paint pots, booking is essential, according to the website.

Each person will pay a non-refundable £2.50 service fee for painting and pots will be ready to collect after 7-10 days once they’ve been in the kiln.

Prices for pots start from £14 and go up to £45 and you can choose from party animals, mugs, plates, plant pots, pet bowls and more.
