Jennifer Lawrence has never been one to shy away from speaking her mind, and comments about Hollywood’s male actors have once again caught attention.
Without mentioning names, the actress once stated that some of her male colleagues get offended whenever she refuses to have sex with them on set.

In a previous interview with the Las Culturistas podcast, Lawrence opened up about filming intimate scenes with some of her male colleagues.
The actress has starred in several romantic films, including “Die My Love,” in which she appeared alongside “Batman” star Robert Pattinson.
She enjoyed that collaboration, as Pattinson behaved differently from some of the male stars she had met on set.

“A lot of male actors get offended if you don’t want to f-ck them,” the actress told her hosts while withholding names.
She added that when she openly refused some of the actors, they would “punish” her, though she did not explain what that entailed.

Fans began to speculate about what kind of punishment Lawrence must have meant in her revelation about her male colleagues.
“I imagine much the same way as always — pettiness and spite, ignoring and avoiding them and their professional input, patronizing them and badmouthing them to others on the project and to friends,” one person wrote.
“From someone who’s been on many sets, they avoid eye contact with you, then act very aggressive and condescending towards you when you have to interact with them. Everyone on set notices, but no one intervenes,” another individual commented.

Another netizen said they weren’t surprised by Lawrence’s admission, given how the entertainment industry allegedly operates.
“It’s not totally surprising that kindness and respect is a rarity in an industry dominated by nepotism, privileged people, uber-rich, the mollycoddled, the entitled, narcissists, egomaniacs, spoiled… etc,” they said.

One of the intimate scenes filmed during production was right at the beginning of shooting, with both Lawrence and Pattinson fully nude and physically wrestling with each other as required by the script.
She later revealed during the film’s screening that she had no issues with nudity and even turned down a request from one of the crew members to touch up some of the cellulite she had at the time.

“I don’t care about nudity. I’m not sensitive about it,” Lawrence said. “I think being pregnant took a lot of, like, vanity anxiety away. Before No Hard Feelings, I was dieting and not eating carbs and working out. I was pregnant [for Die My Love]. Like, what was I gonna do? Not eat?”
She added, “I was working 15 hours a day. I was just tired… I remember, like, them sending over a close-up of cellulite and being like, ‘Do you want us to touch this up?’ And I was like, ‘No. That’s an -ss.’”

In celebration of the 1986 animated adventure’s milestone anniversary this year, Hasbro has been going all out with a year-long “Apology Tour” in recognition of all the childhoods traumatized by the death of Optimus Prime and other fan favorites in the film. The festivities have ranged from concerts to new toys, merchandise, and more, but the main event is the return of The Transformers: The Movie to theaters in glorious 4K. Viewers will get to relive the scarring moments, the sweeping battle against the planet-devouring Unicron, and the memorable soundtrack on the big screen from September 17 through 21 courtesy of Fathom Entertainment. However, one piece of the celebration will arrive a bit later than expected.
Insight Editions and Titan Books have delayed the massive anniversary art book, The Transformers: The Movie: The Ultimate Visual History, from its original October 27 release date and will now be publishing it on November 24, a few days shy of Thanksgiving. The later date isn’t for nothing, though. It has grown in size, from 256 pages of illustrations and insight into the animated classic to 282. While there’s no indication of what those new contents will be, the recent death of the longtime voice of Optimus Prime, Peter Cullen, may have spurred the need for an expanded volume. Much of the book by author Chris Prince will be told through interviews with members of the creative team, taking readers on a journey through all parts of the creation, from the eye-popping visuals to the character and environment designs, the casting of legendary actors from Orson Welles to Leonard Nimoy, and the rocking soundtrack defined by Stan Bush and Kick Axe. Beyond the many designs illustrating this collector’s item, there will also be a section dedicated to the lasting impact of the movie on the wider Transformers franchise.

‘The Transformers: The Movie’ Will Be Paired With Peter Cullen’s Final Performance
After seeing The Transformers: The Movie in theaters again, The Ultimate Visual History looks to be a perfect celebration of its legacy on every level. Hasbro’s “Apology Tour” includes one other surprise, however. After the credits roll on the anniversary screenings, viewers will be treated to an entirely new Transformers short, Optimus Prime: Awakening, that will serve as one final adventure for the Autobots leader and a bookend to Cullen’s time as the voice of an animated hero. This is confirmed to be Cullen’s last original performance as Prime after over 40 years of using his booming, yet warm voice to exemplify the bot’s courage, wisdom, compassion, and strength.

Director Ridley Scott‘s long-awaited return to the sci-fi genre with The Dog Stars didn’t exactly go according to plan. The movie underperformed in its box-office debut and received mediocre reviews. It had been nearly a decade since Scott made a sci-fi movie; his previous release was Alien: Covenant, which fell short of box-office expectations as well and sent its iconic franchise into hibernation for several years. The Alien series was resurrected by Fede Álvarez‘s Alien: Romulus, which grossed $350 million worldwide and received an 80% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes. Scott wasn’t quite impressed, however. In a recent interview with AlloCiné, he described the movie as “okay” and expressed his intention to return to the series.
Director Neill Blomkamppreviously cited Scott’s intervention as the main reason why his long-gestating Alien project never took off. And Álvarez has already made it clear that he will not be returning to direct a sequel to Alien: Romulus. Scott plans to ignore the movie entirely, choosing instead to make a direct sequel to Alien: Covenant. That film, released in 2017, was a sequel to a divisive franchise-reviving hit directed by Scott. The movie in question was recently added to the Peacock library, giving audiences who haven’t yet seen it a chance to do so.

Ridley Scott’s Most Divisive Sci-Fi Movie Has a New Streaming Home
We’re talking, of course, about Prometheus. A prequel to Scott’s original Alien, the movie featured Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, Guy Pearce,Idris Elba, and Charlize Theron, among others. It grossed more than $400 million worldwide against a reported budget of $130 million and received positive reviews. Although it holds a “Certified Fresh” 76% score on the aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes,Prometheus‘ reputation is rather complicated. The late critic Roger Ebert, on the other hand, was an early champion. He awarded the movie a perfect four out of four stars, and described it as “a seamless blend of story, special effects and pitch-perfect casting.” Prometheus is now streaming on Peacock, while The Dog Stars plays in more than 3,300 theaters nationwide. All eyes are on Nintendo, and specifically, The Legend of Zelda, as the year enters its final stretch. While Grand Theft Auto VI is undoubtedly the blockbuster gaming release of the fall, set to land with a seismic impact on November 19, the company could still change the landscape of the season fairly notably depending on when it officially dates its Ocarina of Time remake. Tuesday, September 8, should finally answer when the much-anticipated game will arrive this year thanks to a special 40th anniversary Nintendo Direct celebrating a milestone year in Zelda’s history. However, even before the future of the fantasy adventure series is explored, one release is already dated to commemorate the special occasion.
Earlier this year, Nintendo unveiled The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom — Secrets of the Zonai, a new hardcover artbook full of illustrations, insights by the creative team, and Hyrule history from the surface to the sky islands and the titular Zonai themselves. Spanning 472 pages, the book primarily shows the perspective of the developers, with exclusive “behind-the-scenes sketches, notes, rough designs, concept art, and recollections” from throughout the process of bringing the game to life. However, over 80 pages are dedicated to expanding the lore of Tears of the Kingdom, specifically unfurling the past of the Zonai civilization leading up to the beginning of the Breath of the Wild sequel. The cherry on top of this collection is new interviews with producer Eiji Aonuma, director Hidemaro Fujibayashi, and art director Satoru Takizawa, going further in-depth on the creation.
The wait for Secrets of the Zonai won’t be much longer, as it’s locked in to hit store shelves on October 20. Pre-orders are already open for either the standard hardcover at $59.99 or the Hero Edition, which features a few extra goodies, including a green slipcase containing the book with a special green cover, an art print featuring Link with the sages, a cloth map of the depths, and a replica of the Secret Stone of Time. Picking up this version courtesy of Dark Horse Books will be costly, though, coming in at $119.99.

Between Secrets of the Zonai and the anniversary direct, Nintendo still has a lot left in store as The Legend of Zelda‘s 40th birthday year comes to a close. The upcoming presentation, however, should have a lot to say about where the franchise is going in the near future. Ocarina of Time will undoubtedly be a big part of their showcase, but it’s also likely to be where Nintendo provides a new look at the upcoming The Legend of Zelda movie from Wes Ball. Last month, the rest of the main cast was revealed, with Uli Latukefu joining Benjamin Evan Ainsworth and Bo Bragason as the evil warlock, Ganondorf, alongside Yvonne Strahovski, Dichen Lachman, and the late great Sam Neill in his final role. With the film due to be released on April 30 next year, a trailer isn’t out of the question. As the 30th season of The View approaches, cohost Ana Navarro is admitting she’s neglected her usual self-grooming habits.
“You all, The View begins September 8 and here’s the problem, I have done no self-grooming or self-care for almost a month and a half. So, I’m asking you for a little grace and time to get myself together, like, maybe give me a week after I go on live TV,” Navarro, 54, told fans in a Saturday, September 5, Instagram video before sharing nitty gritty details from her beauty to-do list.
“You see this? This is gray hair that I haven’t been able to color. You see these eyebrows? They are like the tails of squirrels, I have not had them plucked or waxed in over a month. You see these nails? There’s, like … a half inch growth going on here that I haven’t been able to take care of,” the political journalist and commentator hilariously revealed.
She continued, “Upper lip … Botox … lip filler … none of this is happening. This is how I’m going to go on TV [on] September 8. I am just forewarning you.”

A caption on the post further expanded Navarro’s list. “My feet are even worse. My Botox expired like a month ago. In other season 30 news, former host Rosie O’Donnell may return to screens as a guest throughout the series. O’Donnell, 64, claimed on the Monday, August 3, episode of “The Tangle” podcast that ABC are “bringing back all the hosts.”

She added, “And you know, I’m pretty proud of that show, what it’s become and how it really speaks to the people and to politics. [It] was not the case when I first joined.”
A return was later clarified by her rep who told Entertainment Weekly that a “formal ask” from the network has not been issued to O’Donnell.

The Creative Arts Emmy Awards were held on September 5 and 6, celebrating specialized performers and production professionals whose work helps bring TV productions to life.
On the second night of the prestigious event, late filmmaker and actor Rob Reiner was posthumously awarded for Outstanding Guest in a Comedy Series for “The Bear,” nearly nine months after his death on December 14, 2025. He was honored with a standing ovation from the audience.
Reiner bested nominees Michael J. Fox (Shrinking), Brett Goldstein (Shrinking), Hamish Linklater (Widow’s Bay), Christopher McDonald (Hacks), and Connor Storrie (Saturday Night Live).
Reiner’s win marks the first posthumous Emmy for an on-camera performance since Puerto Rican actor Raúl Juliá won in 1995 for the drama film “The Burning Season.”

Presenter Wendi McLendon-Covey accepted the award on the filmmaker’s behalf, saying, “We all wish he was here,” per Deadline.
The Filmmaker Broke His Father’s Emmy Record
The posthumous achievement marked Reiner’s third Emmy win. In 1974 and 1978, he won Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his portrayal of Michael “Mike” Stivic in the sitcom “All in the Family.”
Reiner now holds the Emmy record for the longest gap between acting wins, spanning 48 years. The record was previously held by his father, Carl Reiner.
Carl had a legendary television career, earning 18 Primetime Emmy Award nominations and winning 11 times in various categories, including acting, producing, and writing. Looking strictly at the acting category, the longest gap between his wins was 37 years, with Best Supporting Actor wins in 1958 for “Caesar’s Hour” and in 1995 for “Mad About You.”

Reiner and Jamie Lee Curtis were close friends. The actress’s husband, Christopher Guest, co-wrote and starred in the filmmaker’s 1984 movie, “This Is Spinal Tap.” Reiner and Curtis also starred as Jess’s divorced parents in “New Girl.”
In “The Bear,” Curtis played Donna, the volatile mother of the Berzatto siblings. When Reiner was approached to guest in the series, he wasn’t so sure about taking on the role. However, Curtis convinced him. “She said, ‘No, you’ve got to do it! It’s really fun’,” Reiner told PEOPLE.
Curtis was right, and the filmmaker ended up having fun on set. “It was so much fun to do. It’s fun to act, and I love it because there are no worries. You just show up and do your work,” he said, adding that he didn’t need to read the script before agreeing to be in the show.

‘The Bear’ Honored Rob Reiner With A Famous Line From His Movie
Rob Reiner’s character in “The Bear,” Albert Schnur, was introduced in Season 4 of the series. He was a restaurant and business consultant who worked closely with Ebra (Edwin Lee Gibson).
Reports suggest that Reiner was supposed to return for the show’s fifth season, but he died before filming began, and his character was only featured in off-screen calls with Ebra.
In the series finale, Ebra calls Albert to share exciting news about the franchise’s plan moving forward. Albert’s voice is not heard, but Ebra listens intently and, with a smile, says, “As you wish.”
The line is taken from Reiner’s 1987 movie, “The Princess Bride,” in which Westley repeatedly says “As you wish” to Buttercup. She later realizes that it’s his way of saying “I love you.”
Nick Reiner’s Trial Date Has Not Been Set

Reiner’s son, Nick, stands accused of murdering his parents, who died of multiple sharp-force injuries. On December 14, Rob and Michelle Reiner’s daughter, Romy, discovered them deceased in their LA home. Nick was arrested in connection with the case hours later.
Nick is charged with two counts of first-degree murder with special circumstances. Due to the “lying in wait” and “multiple murders,” he is eligible for the death penalty, though prosecutors have not announced whether they are seeking capital punishment.

He is being held without bond at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles while awaiting trial. Nick has pleaded not guilty and currently has an ongoing civil case to access his $1.5 million family trust.

Despite the tough round of questioning, the cast is able to have a little bit of fun. Raşit Kebabci’s partner, Mallorie DeGrange, tries to lighten the mood when she asks the ladies to play an innocent game.
