Pearl Doherty: Concerns for welfare of missing Co Down mother and her four children

The 27-year-old and her family have not been seen since November 22

Police in Co Down have tonight issued an appeal amid growing concern for a young mum and her four children.

Pearl Doherty, 27, was last seen in the Ballynahinch area at around 2pm on Saturday November 22. her four children range in age from nine to just one.

In a social media post on Facebook tonight, Monday December 22, Police Newry, Mourne and Down said: “Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Pearl Doherty aged 27 years and her four children. John aged nine years, Elizabeth aged eight years, Rocky aged five years, and Charles aged one year.

“Pearl and the children were last seen in the Ballynahinch area at approximately 2pm on Saturday 22nd November 2025.

“We are asking anyone with information on Pearl and her children’s whereabouts to contact police in Downpatrick quoting reference number 1381 from 25/11/25.”
