On January 22, Oscar nominee Ariana Grande donned a beautiful Celine dress to attend a lunch reception in London. She attended the event with her co-star, Cynthia Erivo. The singer looked like a present herself as she sported a nude piece with a giant bow at the front. For the luncheon, she went with a strapless dress, which allowed her to flaunt some of her arm and upper back tattoos that usually stay hidden.

Oscar nominee Ariana Grande is truly a gift who keeps giving to the fashion community as she recently stunned in a gorgeous Celine dress in London. For a recent lunch reception, she opted for a piece that took much inspiration from gift wrapping. While the minidress might look plain at first glance, it comes with a massive bow detailing at the front, which is then topped with some smaller bows.

The strapless dress had a simple A-line silhouette. However, the bodice is adorned with what appears to be one-half of a giant bow. The dress was nothing short of a bow party as the design made use of more bows to form a belt that helped cinch in the waist ever so slightly. Grande paired it with sheer black tights that contrasted the dress’ nude shade beautifully. She completed the look with a pair of black pointed-toe heels that further elevated the chic fit.

For her hairstyle, the singer sported one that she has been going for often as of late. She tied her light hair back into a sleek ponytail, sweeping her baby bangs to the side. She added some shimmer to the look with her white shimmery eyeshadow. However, she kept her lip makeup quite minimal, simply opting for a tinted lip gloss. She also added a healthy dose of blush to bring back some color to her cheeks. Lastly, according to her stylist Mimi Cuttrell’s recent Instagram post, Grande accessorized with a pair of pearl stud earrings from Irene Neuwirth that added to the elegance of the overall look.

Mango Coconut Passion Mocktail

This Mango Coconut Passion Mocktail is like tropical sunshine in a glass! It’s a welcome sip of tropical flavors as we experience arctic temperatures, here in the South. The cilantro and jalapeño give it a nice herby bite, but they are optional if you prefer to leave them out.

• 1 cup mango juice
• 1 cup passion fruit juice
• 1 cup coconut water
• 3-4 sprigs of cilantro plus more for garnish
• 3-4 jalapeño slices optional

Thai Basil Beef Rolls

I am a big lover of Southeast Asian cuisines and these Thai Basil Beef Rolls are perfect! All of my favorite flavors and textures are there; the savory spiced beef with the cool crunch of cucumbers and the refreshing flavors of basil and cilantro is a heavenly combination. I think they would make a great addition to an appetizer spread…maybe for the Super Bowl? You can certainly use smaller tortillas and fill them a little less to get smaller, tightly rolled taquito-like beef rolls to serve a crowd.  

• 1 ½ pounds ground beef or chicken or pork
• black pepper
• 4 cloves garlic chopped
• 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
• 1-3 teaspoons Chinese 5-spice
• 1/3 cup tamari or soy sauce
• 1/4 cup Thai chili sauce
• 1/4 cup chopped green onions
• 4 Persian cucumbers chopped
• 2 cups cilantro chopped
• 1/2 cup Thai basil chopped
• 1/3 cup chopped roasted peanuts
• 8-10 flour tortillas warmed
• chili garlic sauce for serving
• toasted sesame oil for serving

• In a large skillet, cook the beef with black pepper over medium heat, breaking up the meat as it cooks until browned, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic, ginger, and Chinese 5-spice, and cook another minute. Add the tamari and sweet Thai chili sauce. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until the sauce coats the beef, 3-5 minutes. Stir in 2 tablespoons of chopped green onions. remove from the heat.

• Place one tortilla at a time in the microwave for 15 seconds. Spoon the beef down the center, then top with cucumber, cilantro, basil, green onion, and peanuts. Fold the tortilla over the filling. Then fold the sides and ends of the tortillas over the filling and roll forward. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

• Serve warm with extra soy, chili garlic sauce, and toasted sesame oil for dipping. To make this a dinner, serve with rice on the side.

Merino wool is a top choice for warmth, moisture-wicking, and breathability (make sure it’s the soft version and not scratchy). Your base layer is ideal for layering under your clothes and will keep you dry and extra warm during outdoor activities. Cashmere (pictured above) is another amazing option—it can be three times warmer than wool! Make sure to choose a top that you’re comfortable wearing on its own in case you need to remove your extra layers throughout the day!

#3 | Layering Pieces – Sweaters and Jackets

Layering is key in the winter, and having a few sweaters and a couple of jackets will allow you to adjust your outfit depending on the temperature. When choosing your sweaters, make sure they are warm and light enough to layer under your jackets and blazers. You can also wear them on their own if the temps are a little warmer. A cozy jacket and a tailored, flattering blazer are great, versatile pieces to pack as well. Simply choose the type of jacket that feels aligned with your style and planned activities. We recommend one lightweight blazer, and a more elegant wrap or duster coat. If it’s going to be really cold, a packable puffer is another must-have on your trip.

When temperatures drop, fleece lined leggings are an absolute lifesaver. These (or your base layer bottoms) can be worn under your jeans to provide extra warmth on the coldest of days. You’ll want at least 1-2 other pairs of shoes on your trip, so we recommend a dressier boot as well as a stylish sneaker. Wear your bulkiest shoe on travel day to allow for more space in your suitcase!

A warm, cozy pair of gloves or mittens is a must-have for any cold-weather destination. Look for gloves made from leather, merino wool or cashmere with tech-friendly features that allows you to use your phone. A winter scarf is the perfect accessory to complement your cold-weather wardrobe. Choose one made from wool or cashmere for the ultimate warmth and comfort. IF it looks like rain on your trip, swap your wool/cashmere coat for a waterproof trench coat. It’s an elegant way to stay dry during those rainy, winter days. The trench coat is light enough to layer over sweaters and can easily be dressed up or down, making it perfect for both sightseeing and casual dinners out. If you’re planning on hitting the slopes, you’ll need to pack your winter sports gear, including a durable, insulated ski jacket and water-resistant ski pants, as well as ski goggles, a helmet and gloves/mittens. If it’s going to be below 20 degrees though, opt for separates to ensure you are warm enough for a day on the slopes. If you plan on taking your own skis – your packing list will be a bit different and won’t quite fit into a carry-on only 😉. Next on our list of winter travel essentials, is great skincare to keep your skin hydrated. Award-winning musician Adekunle Gold is set to co-produce “The Odyssey,” a documentary exploring the 100-year history of Yoruba music. In collaboration with White House Productions, the project will delve into the evolution of diverse Yoruba music genres, including Were, Sakara, Apala, Juju, AfroJuju, and Fuji. Featuring interviews with Nigeria’s revered music historians, artists, producers, and journalists, “The Odyssey” promises an authentic and vibrant narrative that highlights the cultural significance and global influence of Yoruba music.

The documentary’s production team includes notable figures such as Executive Producer Bobo Omotayo, director Abba Makama, and producers Tosin Ashafa and Papa Omotayo. South African actress Thuso Mbedu has been announced as part of the lead cast for Paramount Pictures’ adaptation of Tomi Adeyemi’s bestselling novel “Children of Blood and Bone.” The fantasy epic, set to debut in cinemas on January 15, 2027, also stars Amandla Stenberg, Damson Idris, and Tosin Cole. Mbedu will portray Zelie, a determined young woman from a magical African kingdom who embarks on a dangerous journey to restore the magic stolen from her people by a tyrannical ruler, King Saran. The story follows Zelie and her brother Tzain (Cole) as they team up with the king’s children, Princess Amari (Stenberg) and Prince Inan (Idris), to challenge his oppressive regime.

Mbedu expressed her excitement on Instagram, sharing photos in character and a heartfelt reflection on her journey to landing the role.
