Sheriff’s Department Searching For Nancy Guthrie Starring In Reality Show
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department—the same department searching for missing Nancy Guthrie—is also starring in a new reality show about law enforcement.
Nancy Guthrie has been missing since the late-night hours of January 31, 2026, and while investigators have vetted tips, alleged ransom letters, and DNA evidence, no suspects have been named, and no arrests have been made.

According to TMZ, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department is the focus of a new reality series on A&E titled “Desert Law.”
The network sent an A&E production crew to Arizona last summer, during which they filmed the first season.
“Desert Law” follows several of the department’s deputies; however, Sheriff Chris Nanos is not involved.
The first season of the thrilling law enforcement reality series is airing now, with three additional episodes left.

Sources close to the production of “Desert Law” revealed that the team has not deployed cameras to capture any aspect of the Nancy Guthrie investigation.
Insiders also shared that they’re still waiting to learn whether the network will have the show return for a second season.

What Happened To Nancy Guthrie?
As shared above, Nancy Guthrie has been the subject of national news since she was reported missing on February 1, 2026.
A day later, Sheriff Nanos confirmed that Nancy’s Arizona home was a “crime” scene, and pleaded with her potential abductors to return her, stating that if she wasn’t properly cared for, she could die.
On February 3, Nanos told the media that he and his team believed Nancy had been forcibly taken from her home, but he couldn’t say where she might have been.
Over the next several days, Nancy’s children, including “TODAY” anchor Savannah Guthrie, shared emotional videos with the public and with their mother’s possible captors, begging for her safe return.

In one video, Savannah even offered to pay the hefty fee demanded in an ominous ransom note delivered to various media outlets, including TMZ and a local Arizona ABC affiliate.
On February 12, horrifying footage of a man, about 5’9″ to 5’10”, standing at Nancy’s doorbell and tampering with her doorbell camera, was shared online, sending a wave of concern through the public and Tucson community members.

Sheriff Shares Grim Update Regarding The Search For 84-Year-Old Nancy
According to a previous report from The Blast, Sheriff Nanos shared a grim update with the public on February 13, 2026, admitting that locating Nancy could be more difficult than some realize.
“Maybe it’s an hour from now,” he said. “Maybe it’s weeks or months or years from now. But we won’t quit. We’re going to find Nancy. We’re going to find this guy.”
Although investigators have received tips and leads that appeared to point them in the right direction, Arizona law enforcement officers have reached repeated dead ends, something Nanos described as “exhausting.”
“This has to be it, the evidence, everything’s there,” Nanos said. “Then you talk to people, you learn, you do your search, and you think, ‘Maybe not.’”
Police Could Run Into More Walls In The Future
Chief Law Enforcement and Intelligence Analyst John Miller shared a similar message, according to The Blast.
The legal expert explained that “dead ends” are normal in cases such as this, especially because law enforcement officers are moving quickly to follow up on all leads.
“I want to point out we may see a couple more of these as this goes on,” he said.
But that doesn’t mean they want the public to sit idly by. In fact, a former Galveston County police captain stated that working alongside the community has been “the most powerful tool” he’s encountered in law enforcement.
A retired FBI agent echoed that sentiment and encouraged tipsters to share as many details as possible, stating that the analysts are “looking for these ones with specific details to put to the top of the list.”

Savannah posted another emotional message on Instagram, addressing her mother’s suspected kidnappers directly.
“It’s been two weeks since our mom was taken and I just wanted to come on and say that we still have hope and we still believe,” she said. “And it is never to late to do the right thing. We are here. We believe. And we believe in the essential goodness of every human being. It’s never too late.”

While I wouldn’t describe Urchin as fun to watch, it’s always interesting, especially when it depicts Mike’s rising and falling fortunes. The movie’s climax verges on the surreal, leaving it up to you to interpret what happens to Mike. Urchin is Dickinson’s debut as a director, and it’s good enough for you to want him to make another movie sooner rather than later.
‘The Astronaut’ (2025)
Sam Walker (Kate Mara) is an astronaut who just survived a traumatic incident aboard a space station. Now back on Earth, she’s quarantined at a small cottage where she is secretly spied on by the government. After several strange incidents occur, Sam believes a strange creature is on the premises. If she’s right, what is it and does it have anything to do with what happened to her in outer space? And if not, is she slowly going insane by being isolated from her friends and family?
The Astronaut is an under-the-radar sci-fi thriller that starts with an intriguing premise and just gets stranger from there. The movie skillfully introduced several red herrings to keep you guessing where it’s going without being too cheap or manipulative. The film’s last act goes full sci-fi, with Sam uncovering a shocking secret that causes her to re-examine her entire life. What that secret is is best left for you to discover, but trust me — you won’t be disappointed.

‘Sister Act’ (1992)
Reno lounge singer Deloris (Whoopi Goldberg) has had it with her boyfriend, Vince (Harvey Keitel). He never treated her right, but this time, he’s crossed a line — he’s killed someone! They’ll protect her, but she has to disguise herself as a nun at a run-down church in San Francisco. One of 1992’s biggest hits, Sister Act is a quintessential ‘90s comedy with a never-better Goldberg and a stellar cast full of veteran character actors living it up — and telling a dirty joke or two. The movie takes a classic “fish-out-of-water” concept and breathes new life into it, with frequently hilarious results. It’s a hoot to see Deloris try to fit in with the other nuns, who aren’t as strict and boring as she first believes them to be. Dead at 53 After ALS Battle

Eric Dane has died at the age of 53, following a battle with ALS, TMZ has learned.
The family says in a statement to TMZ … “With heavy hearts, we share that Eric Dane passed on Thursday afternoon following a courageous battle with ALS. He spent his final days surrounded by dear friends, his devoted wife, and his two beautiful daughters, Billie and Georgia, who were the center of his world. Throughout his journey with ALS, Eric became a passionate advocate for awareness and research, determined to make a difference for others facing the same fight. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always. Eric adored his fans and is forever grateful for the outpouring of love and support he’s received. The family has asked for privacy as they navigate this impossible time.”
The “Grey’s Anatomy” star announced he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, commonly referred to as ALS, back in April 2025.
He explained it had been an exhausting road just to get accurate answers. He bounced from one specialist to another, test after test … until a neurologist finally dropped the bomb: ALS.
Over the months, he chronicled his battle with the progressive neurodegenerative disease … revealing how he was down to just one functioning arm and was running out of body strength.
Commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, ALS is a nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the spinal cord and brain … it gets worse over time and causes loss of muscle control, according to the Mayo Clinic. There is no known cure for ALS.
Eric persevered with work … even filming the third season of the HBO series, “Euphoria.”

Recently, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos announced that his department was clearing all immediate family members of the Guthrie family from its investigation as suspects.
Both Kelly and Cuomo have responded to the news of Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance on their respective platforms. During an episode of “The Megyn Kelly Show,” the conservative podcaster refused to hold back as she responded to Cuomo, whom Kelly believed targeted her show during a NewsNation segment.

“Here’s ‘Fredo’ Cuomo on his little-known show on NewsNation, which has less viewers than I have fingers,” she said. “Let me tell you what Fredo is really upset about. Fredo No-Rato, that’s his real problem. Nobody watches his show on NewsNation… Nobody watches his failed podcast either. Nobody watched his SiriusXM radio show. Nobody watched him on CNN.”

Kelly Unleashes Claim Against Chris Cuomo Amid Nancy Guthrie Investigation
Kelly didn’t stop there. She accused Cuomo of getting upset when his competitors outperform him. “… like our show, which is always one of the top three conservative podcasts in the nation,” she said. “It’s currently number one on Apple. Fredo doesn’t like that. Because, as I say, Fredo No-Rato. So he gets upset, and he gets jealous.”
Elaborating further, Kelly asserted that Cuomo “can’t take criticism” and suggested the journalist exhibits poor behavior whenever she calls out his ratings or his claims regarding his podcast’s reach.

Kelly Claims Cuomo Once Tried To Get Her To Stop Speaking About Him
Elsewhere during her rant about Cuomo, Kelly hurled another allegation against Cuomo, the former anchor of “Good Morning America.”
Kelly alleged that her legal team once fielded a phone call from Cuomo, who reportedly “begged” her lawyer to convince her to stop mentioning him.
According to Kelly, “He didn’t want me to attack him, because it hurt his little feelings.”

One user slammed the media pundit for making “everything personal,” while another said Cuomo likely “gets more audience than you.”
Another social media user posted, “It’s all about ratings for you. I get that’s a metric of success, but my god. This is no way to live.”

What’s Happening With Nancy Guthrie?
According to several reports from The Blast, the search for Nancy Guthrie—mother of “TODAY” host Savannah Guthrie—remains active as the investigation approaches its fourth week.
Nancy first made headlines on February 1, 2026, when concerned community members reported to Arizona law enforcement officers that she hadn’t been seen since the night before.
A day later, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos confirmed that Nancy was forcibly taken from her home and that her Tucson residence had become an official crime scene.
Tips have poured in, according to authorities, and some DNA has been sent off to out-of-state laboratories to see if it can point the investigators in the right direction.
As of now, however, no suspects have been named.

Three days ago, Savannah shared a saddening video on Instagram, sharing that her family still had “hope” that they’d be reunited with their elderly mother.
She also attempted to share an encouraging message to Nancy’s potential captors, saying, “We are here. We believe. And we believe in the essential goodness of every human being. It’s never too late.”
