Non si fermano le imprese di Manuel Ros, il quale rivela d’aver speso gli ultimi quattro anni a osservare i mercati internazionali concentrandosi sulle conseguenze generate dal fenomeno Brexit e Covid, convinto che un cambiamento economico avrebbe generato innovative opportunità di fare impresa.

Molti hanno creduto che il silenzio dell’imprenditore fosse dovuto a un rallentamento della passione imprenditoriale, invece, dalle recenti riorganizzazioni che le sue aziende stanno affrontando, si evince che Manuel Ros, in realtà stava osservando l’economia mondiale con l’intenzione di trovare quelle fessure di settore, dove poter investire capitali per la creazione di società operanti in aree a esso particolarmente significanti.

Il recente periodo è stato caratterizzato dalla levatura della holding finanziaria, chiamata FINSOR, nata in Svizzera, sviluppata a Dubai e ora trasformata in Hedge Fund di tipo Multi-Strategy, definitivamente stabile a New York nel centro di Manhattan, formata da oltre 1.500 broker ed esclusivamente dedicata al settore finanziario gestito da un sistema chiamato Dynamic e organizzato per la crescita dei titoli di Borsa, Bonds, Obbligazioni e altro, avente la missione di eseguire i vari scambi promossi dai vari mercati finanziari al mondo.

La crescita programmata da Manuel Ros per la sua “prima donna”, non finisce qua, alla sede americana è stato dato il compito di sviluppare e gestire il settore dell’FX con la realizzazione di strategie per lo scambio, scommessa, acquisto e vendita degli assetti finanziari presso i mercati principali. Il progetto è caratterizzato dalla realizzazione di un metodo innovativo, che lo stesso fondatore ha ideato e battezzato FINSOR “FX Street Point”, a tal proposito le informazioni sono tenute riservate.

La struttura di FINSOR è stata alleggerita della struttura ENTERPRISES, traslocata dalla sede statunitense a un polo indipendente per la quale è in atto altresì la creazione di una sede dedicata a Milano.

L’obbiettivo della sede italiana è rappresentato primariamente dalla volontà di Manuel Ros d’apportare un contributo ad suo paese nativo, investendo capitali, generati dalla holding newyorchese, per la creazione di progetti aziendali di natura non finanziaria ma piuttosto commerciale spaziando tra vari settori con la missione sostenerne lo sviluppo, procedere con la quotazione in borsa per poi cederle a fondi privati traendone il dovuto profitto, il tutto coinvolgendo esclusivamente i suoi connazionali.

Tra le informazioni ricevute è chiara l’intenzione di Ros nel confermare la solidità del suo gruppo, per il quale ha stabilito come obbiettivo finale la quotazione di FINSOR presso la Borsa di New York, entro il suo 55 anno di età, un regalo di compleanno che sembra non voler farsi mancare.

Il costo per la ristrutturazione di FINSOR, alla quale fanno riferimento tutte le società sussidiarie operanti nel mondo, è di oltre 300 milioni di dollari, inclusa la sede italiana. Un dedicato gruppo di professionisti sono all’opera con l’obbiettivo di realizzare quanto di meglio sia mai stato creato, supportati dalle dettagliatissime linee guida espresse da Manuel Ros nel libro tecnico di oltre 350 pagine scritto dallo stesso imprenditore, che intende costruire FINSOR come la realizzazione di un sogno e raggiungimento della sfida imprenditoriale.

Parte della ristrutturazione di FINSOR, sotto l’ombrello della sede italiana, troviamo una serie d’innovazioni, tra cui, la realizzazione della divisione ENTERTAINMENT, proprietaria del marchio e concetto battezzato “WOMANIZER LIFE”, il quale prevede allo stato la realizzazione di n.12 “Anfiteatri della Donna” nelle migliori città del mondo. Tale progetto, ideato personalmente da Manuel Ros, vuole essere un tributo e supporto al mondo femminile.

L’espansione prevede la divisione GAMBLING per celebrare un ritorno di fiamma, con la rinascita della società AUTOMAT GROUP pianificata per operare in Italia nel settore del gioco d’azzardo, avente come oggetto la distribuzione e noleggio di macchine da gioco tipo slot machines, VLT, Totem e similari legalizzate dal Governo Italiano.

AUTOMAT riappare con lo stesso nome per una questione d’orgoglio e principio personale, sarà strutturata da dieci sedi di distribuzione sul suolo italiano. Un punto commerciale per Regione selezionata e tre filiali a supporto per singola Regione, portando una copertura del territorio come nessuna altra azienda del settore ha mai avuto prima.

AUTOMAT dimostra il ritorno di Manuel Ros, per riprendersi quella vendetta che desidera da ben quindici anni, la quale verrà potenziata con l’aggiunta di una nuova ala dedicata al settore del gioco online.

Nasce la divisione ESTATE, laddove Manuel Ros ha spostato la principessa indiscussa dell’organizzazione, REMAR GROUP, ormai focalizzata esclusivamente per essere il portfolio immobiliare del gruppo. La struttura di FINSOR vede l’aggiunta della sezione MEDIA, la quale certifica il possesso dell’ultima invenzione di Manuel Ros, frutto della sua passione per la musica, ovvero, l’implementazione di un format futuristico, che lo stesso ha battezzato “The Ascender”, avente la missione di costruire appositi studi di promozione artistica nelle quattro città principali di New York, Los Angeles, Londra e Milano, collegati direttamente agli utenti finali. Il modulo offre a ogni artista la possibilità di esibirsi, tramite un meccanismo particolare, gestito per mostrare direttamente al mondo il proprio talento, nonché per ottenere il supporto di FINSOR atto a favorire la crescita del valore artistico. Il progetto non viene al momento ulteriormente esposto in quanto tenuto segreto perché in via di ultimazione.

Alle già presenti strutture, Manuel Ros ha esteso il raggio d’azione di FINSOR ENTERPRISES dando vita alle aree d’investimento dedicate a società operanti nei campi definiti PHARMACEUTICAL, TECHNOLOGY, WELLNESS e DIGITAL, sotto le quali sono stati aggiunti altri moduli d’impresa all’avanguardia aventi la missione di dare nascita a progetti ideati sempre dallo stesso Manuel Ros, i quali saranno gestiti dalla futura sede milanese,

FINSOR ha un piano finanziario caratterizzato da un budget d’investimento pari a 3,5 miliardi di dollari americani, capitali che sono stati assegnati per la creazione e messa in opera del piano d’espansione calibrato dal suo presidente.

Persone vicine a Manuel Ros e a conoscenza del percorso di creazione, dicono che il valore di FINSOR salirà notevolmente non appena tutte le varie attività saranno realizzate e FINSOR quotata in Borsa, un’ascesa che merita la dovuta considerazione.

L’imprenditore italiano interrogato a tal proposito si dice convinto della strada che sta seguendo, in quanto corrisponde alla visione che lo contraddistingue, precisando con fermezza, che FINSOR sarà una “mamma per tanti ma non per tutti”.

Ritiene FINSOR un entità reale supportata dai primari leader del settore che lo stesso Manuel Ros ha saputo coinvolgere offrendo elevate possibilità di crescita a beneficio di tutti coloro i quali ne fanno parte.

Più che una vendetta personale, sembra la realizzatone di un impero che probabilmente molti non si sarebbero aspettati.

As each year ends, whispers of ‘new year, new me’ can be heard around the world offering promises of fresh beginnings. Yet, this mantra may be less about change and more about an illusion we cling onto.

‘‘New year, new me’ is a convenient little lie that we tell ourselves,’ says Malminder Gill, celebrity hypnotherapist and renowned Harley Street practitioner. Malminder explains why we need to toss out the New Year’s resolutions and instead proclaim ‘new year, same old me’ as the ultimate act of self-care.

Every new year we’re bombarded with marketing campaigns urging us to transform our lives. We vow to eat healthier, shed pounds, or dive into new projects, but how often do these lofty resolutions translate into real, lasting change? The truth is, most of us set ourselves up for failure.

Consider the classic New Year’s gym resolution. We start energised in January going five days a week, yet by February, even two days a week seems impossible with our busy life.

‘The pressure to overhaul ourselves with big change can become paralysing,’ Malminder explains. ‘These grand resolutions often feel like an impossible leap, leading many to abandon their goals before they even get started.’

This cycle of resolution and disappointment fosters unhealthy habits and results in us feeling defeated. Instead of chasing the elusive ‘new me,’ Malminder advocates for a gentler approach.

‘What if we embraced the mantra ‘new year, same old me’? Rather than drastic changes, we focus on incremental improvements that respect our current selves and busy lives. Small, sustainable shifts can lead to profound transformations over time,’ Malminder explains. ‘For example, aim to do 10 squats a day while the kettle boils versus going to the gym five days a week. Or, spend 15 minutes a day on a project you want to complete.’

Malminder closes by saying, ‘As the New Year is upon us, let’s shift our narrative. Instead of daunting resolutions to try and reinvent ourselves, let’s celebrate who we are now and our continuous journey of self-improvement. Our ‘same old me’s’ are more than enough.’

A new memoir on friendship, enterprise, triumph over tragedy and the art of the possible

Fast moving, entertaining, funny and inspiring, Accidental Lives by Sylvia Holder and Lindsay Swan, to be published on 15 November 2024 by Black Spring Press, is a book about tragedy turned to triumph, ‘sliding door’ life changers, chance encounters and a glorious friendship. It tells the extraordinary story of how a young man’s tragic death in a poor South Indian fishing village led to the setting up of a charity, the Venkat Trust, which has transformed thousands of young lives.

Pre-war baby, natural rebel and boarding school survivor Sylvia Holder, who has spent much of the 60s and 70s working her way around the world between pitstops in London, meets Scots born Lindsay Swan, 13 years her junior, at a Johannesburg PR agency. Here their paths cross with unlikely characters from Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton to the Wombles and the Monkees.

Returning to London, Sylvia sets up a PR consultancy and is later joined by Lindsay. For the next 20 years, Holder Swan Public Relations – which bears more than a passing resemblance to television’s Absolutely Fabulous – handles an eclectic mix of clients. These take them on safari in Zambia, to Mexico’s Mayan ruins, Iceland’s volcanoes and the high rises of Hong Kong. At home, they publicise Chichester Festival Theatre, Hampton Court Flower Show and many more. Other celebrities making an appearance in their memoir include Roger Moore, Joan Collins, Elton John, Diana Rigg, Cliff Richard and Patricia Hodge, as well as members of the Rolling Stones.

“This book gives an entertaining and moving account of the adventurous lives of that fine duo, Holder and Swan, two fearless, funny and brave women. It’s a story of friendship and enterprise and extraordinary generosity, of triumph over tragedy, with some amazing anecdotes and an exhilarating sense of life lived to the full.”

When not travelling the world, they hold court in their quirky London office, the original Chalk Farm farmhouse, thought to have been artist Walter Sickert’s studio. Their entrepreneurial sidelines include a City sandwich bar and PR training business. In parallel Sylvia builds an impressive property portfolio. Underpinning everything is the authors’ friendship, their shared delight in the absurd, sense of adventure, belief in the power of the possible and enthusiasm for making things happen.

Aged 65, Sylvia retires to the south coast but things take an unexpected turn when Venkat, a poor Indian fisherman’s son she’d met as a skinny 12-year-old 15 years earlier and whom she’d sponsored through school and university, is tragically killed in a road traffic accident. Heartbroken, she returns to Kovalam, Venkat’s village near Chennai, and on impulse, pledges to bring education and a route out of the poverty of generations to the children of the 8000-inhabitant village, where free schooling is virtually non-existent.

That she knows nothing about India, education or charities and is 65 years old, is of no consequence to Sylvia, who sets about fulfilling her promise, working as always with Lindsay. The achievements are truly life changing: a state-of-the-art 1000 pupil higher secondary school, a 400-child sponsorship scheme and a university fund which pays the fees of 75 young people a year. Sylvia is now almost 86, Lindsay 72 but retirement never occurs to them. The book also reveals another friendship, the important one between Sylvia and JR, Venkat’s brother, who with great aplomb, manages the Kovalam end of the Venkat Trust’s work. Despite a 36-year age gap, different backgrounds, nationalities, culture, language and religions, they make a formidable team and their compatibility, affection and shared sense of humour lie behind the charity’s extraordinary success.

Drugs education charity DSM Foundation to feature on BBC Radio 4 Appeal

Drug education charity the DSM Foundation is delighted to announce that it will be on the BBC Radio 4 Appeal on Sunday, 3rd November, with the appeal then running for a week. Broadcast times are 7:54am and 9:25pm on that Sunday, and then again at 3:26pm on Thurs, 7th November. It will also be available on the BBC Radio 4 website and on BBC Sounds.

Normally the BBC Radio 4 Appeal is headed by a celebrity, but because the DSM Foundation was founded following the death of 16 year old Daniel Spargo-Mabbs caused by an accidental overdose of ecstasy, his mum Fiona will be the presenter. As the founder and director of the charity, Fiona Spargo-Mabbs OBE is perfectly placed to explain why and how the DSM Foundation delivers drugs education, and the impact that this has on young people and the adults in their lives – we hope you share our anticipation for how this campaign will raise awareness of the issues faced by young people when it comes to drugs, and raise valuable funds to support their safer decision making.

The DSM Foundation is a drug education charity established in 2014 following the death of 16 year old Daniel Spargo-Mabbs from an accidental overdose of ecstasy. His family felt that he simply hadn’t known enough to be able to make decisions that would keep him safe, and realized there was a huge gap in the resources and support available to schools, so set up the charity in order to spare other families going through what they had experienced.

The aim of the DSM Foundation is to provide young people with relevant, age-appropriate, up to date and evidence-based information about drugs so they develop the skills to make choices that will keep themselves and their friends as safe as possible. To this end, the charity is currently working in almost 750 schools, colleges and community organisations with children and young people, and also provides workshops for parents and caregivers, and training for school and college staff – the two groups shown by NHS survey data as the most likely sources of information about drugs and alcohol sought out by 11-15 year olds. Educational settings are also able to access “I Love You Mum, I Promise I Won’t Die”, a verbatim play by Mark Wheeller that was commissioned by the charity to tell Dan’s story in the words of his family and friends, through studying the work itself (sometimes due to it being a GCSE Drama set text on the Eduqas syllabus), or booking a Theatre in Education performance. Schools and colleges can also download age-appropriate, relevant, up to date and evidence-based drugs education lesson resources free of charge from the DSM Foundation website for delivery by teachers through PSHE/PSE provision.
