Molly-Mae took to her YouTube channel as she revealed her Christmas Day plans
Former Love Island star Molly Mae-Hague has issued a Christmas update for fans as she’s set to spend the festive season with Tommy Fury’s family after rekindling their romance earlier this year.
Although they didn’t win the show, they soon became the “it couple” and regularly shared glimpses into their personal lives, which saw them get engaged and have their only daughter, Bambi.
Last year, the couple publicly announced their split shortly followed by Molly’s Amazon Prime series, Behind It All, which was originally meant to be a documentary leading up to their wedding day.
At the time, Molly took to her Instagram and shared: “Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.
“I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.
“I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it’s right to share this with you all. Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time, I’ll be back when it feels right. Molly-Mae x (sic)”.
However, shortly after the Prime documentary was released, Tommy and Molly were seen hanging out once again and have seemingly reconciled after their breakup.
The TV star uploads regular vlogs on her YouTube channel, and opened up about her and Bambi’s Christmas plans this year, with her and Tommy hosting the Fury family. She said: “It’s actually hilarious we’re hosting Christmas Day because I couldn’t be any less organised for that.
“But do you know what? Tommy’s family are so chilled, and I’m just so chilled that I don’t really think anyone really cares. I don’t think they’re really expecting much to be honest. I think we’re just all going to be together.
“We’re going to have Christmas dinner. I think I’m cooking half, and Tommy’s Mum is cooking half, and she’s cooking the meat and the potatoes and I think I’m doing the veg. But I also need to get prepped for that.”
Molly has recently opened up about parental struggles, and admitted: “We’ve really come out of it now and it’s mental how quick I know I’m talking about it all the time but I hope this helps any other toddler parent to know they’re not alone in the wild rollercoaster where every day just changes so much.
“Half the week you’ll be ‘I’ve made a breakthrough, she’s listening… she’s being so lovely, I’m loving this’ and then you’ll be like ‘I don’t know how to handle this, this is horrendous, she’s not listening, she hates me’.”
She continued: “I just feel guilty because now I’ve got to go to work and Tommy is at home with her. I just know they’re probably not going to have a very nice day because she’s just, the listening ears are firmly switched off, to the point she doesn’t wanna hear anything we’re saying.”
