    Thank you so much for this, Nicole 🙏. I have never done Pilates before – I admit to having somewhat negative perceptions of it, as being “the trendy workout that all the celebs do”! Nevertheless I happened upon your channel, as I was looking for some kind of yoga instruction that would suit me. Seeing that you seem to mainly teach Pilates, I found this beginners video and decided to give it a go. Following a break up with my partner and difficulties with my teenage daughter, my mental health has plummeted over the last couple of years or so. Knowing that physical and mental health are closely integrated, but finding it hard to find the motivation to do regular exercise, I decided a few days ago to buy myself a yoga mat from Amazon, thinking if I had one on display in my living room it would incentivise me! So I found your channel and I’ve just tried this video for the first time. Being a beginner, I was wary of it being a full 30 minute workout, but although of course in places it was quite challenging, the time flew by. Your voice is so easy to listen to, you explain things clearly and un-patronisingly and the whole thing exudes an aura of calm; not least of all the music, your decor and your lovely smile 😊. Just doing this one first beginners workout has given me an energising boost, so I am sure I will be frequently returning to your channel. I have never actually added funds to a YouTuber’s account before, but I will now also go and figure out how to do this! Once again you have my thanks and appreciation… ❤

    it’s interesting how different this is from weight lifting! i love how it seems to get every little muscle and not just the main groups. also seriously feels like 10 mins

    I've just found this channel first time ever doing pilates that was hard lol I couldn't do the leg turning part it was to painful lol and I've put on quite a bit of weight so really hoping this will help ☺️I am struggling also following to correct positions and breathing and hard to know if I'm doing it right but will keep trying thank you for the video will keep trying ☺️

6x single leg deadlift / balance
15x jump squats
12x jump lunges

5 rounds
12x deadlift
9x hang power clean
6x shoulder to overhead

Make sure you warm up and cool down appropriately and scale movements as needed.
