The alleged attack took place over the weekend and offciers are appealing for witnesses to come forward
A man in his 40s has been arrested after the alleged sexual assault of two women last weekend.
The attack was reported in the The Square, Moy in Co Tyrone, on Sunday December 21 and PSNI Dungannon said on Christmas Eve they affected an arrest within minutes of the report being filed.
In a statement on Police Mid Ulster Facebook on December 24, the PSNI stated: “Police in Dungannon are investigating the sexual assault of two females in the Square, Moy, in the early hours of Sunday 21st December 2025 which resulted in a 44-year- old male being arrested within minutes of the report being received.
“We are appealing to anyone who was in the area of the Square close to the junction with Benburb Road between 0130-0215 and witnessed anything suspicious or concerning to contact police. We would also appeal to motorists who were in the area at the time to check their dashcam footage.
“Anyone with any information should contact police on 101 quoting reference 213 of 21/12/2025.”
