Woman in 20s found dead near Skipton Road in Harrogate

Police and paramedics were called to the address near Skipton Road in Harrogate at about 10.20am on Tuesday (December 23).

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said the force had carried out a “thorough investigation” and confirmed it is “not treating the woman’s death as suspicious”.

“A man in his 20s was arrested in connection with the woman’s death, but he has now been released with no further action following the necessary enquiries,” the police spokesperson said.

Police officers remained on the scene while the investigation was carried out.
