Review of a IBM System x3650 M2 rack Server - 032

IBM System X 3650 M2 is a very good server, the only real problem is that it came right after, and would replace the x3650. which was an extreme super awesome server.

I absolutely love IBM System X 3650 Series of servers.
The x3650 M2 had so many new features when it was released,
in March 2009, that you can still, find cool things this server can do, but you still have not put them into use yet.

My PlayHouse is a channel where i will show, what i am working on. I have this house, it is 168 Square Meters / 1808.3ft² and it is full, of half-finished projects.

I love working with heating, insulation, green power, alternative energy, solar, wind and more. It all costs, but I’m trying to get the most out of my money, and my time. .

Not sure if you answered this before, but what is the maximum single drive capacity for this server? Am I limited to the 300GB per drive? Or can I use multiple 2TB drives or higher?

Hi, can you tell me if I would need anything if I would want to attach SATA Drives instead of SAS Drives? A special backplane? Or just remove the SAS backplane and connect the cables directly?

Hi, what is the main difference between the m2 and m3? i see they both use similar cpus and also ddr3 ram.

I recently got my hands on an IBM x3550 m2 motherboard and am hoping to build a new system from it. Since I have multiple atx psus sitting around, I was wondering if you might know of a way to run it with 1 or 2.

@My Playhouse – did you ever find out what that black plastic piece is for (at the 19:27 mark)?

  15. @maciphony

    October 27, 2024 at 11:48 am

@ 15:15 : that is the backplane-connector if you want to use e.g  JBOD on legacy-mode instead of the MR10i .this is nice for Unix operating systems using the ZFS filesystem. AFTER firmware-upgrade( musthave!) you can boot JBOD in legacy mode  from this connector without configuring a Raid-controller. So this connector is a really a feature .

Dell Blade IO Manager Demo

This video gives a detailed demo of the management interface for the FN IO Module (component of the FX2) and the PowerEdge MIO Aggregator.

The Blade IO Manager simplifies management through an intuitive GUI interface. Users can manage switch functions such as port assignment to a VLAN, VLAN tagging, and port configuration without the complexity of a CLI.

The Blade IO Manager includes monitoring indicators, providing critical summaries such as product properties, average bandwidth, and alerts. It also includes summaries for stacking, VLT, port configuration, and active VLANs. .

Thank you for watching I LOVE YOU

What is Roblox? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 13 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX — interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything — be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yet-to-be-dreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“Robux”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.
