Police have urged the public not to approach the man
The PSNI have released an image of a man suspected of stabbing two people at a property in Co Down on Christmas Eve.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Chippendale Avenue in Bangor at around 3:30pm on Wednesday after reports that a male had entered the property armed with a hammer and a knife and attacked them.
The Police have urged the public not to approach the man if they see him and to call the police immediately.
Chief Inspector Rocks said: “We are urging members of the public not to approach this man if they see him, but to create a safe distance and contact police immediately on 101, and quote reference number 914 of 24/12/25. “You can also submit a report or information online using the non-emergency reporting form via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org/. “Enquiries remain ongoing, and anyone who may have any information which could assist – including CCTV or other footage – is also asked to contact police.”
