The defending champions have had a torrid season so far, but have experienced somewhat of a resurgence in recent weeks.
Arne Slot’s side are missing several key names already for various different reasons, and their record £125million signing’s start to his Liverpool career took another twist at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the weekend.
Regardless, the Reds are unbeaten this month, responding well to their 3-0 and 4-1 home defeats by both Nottingham Forest and PSV Eindhoven respectively at the end of November.
They have beaten West Ham, drawn with Sunderland and Leeds, and defeated Inter Milan and Brighton before their win at Spurs last time out.
Wolves, meanwhile, look like they are doomed to relegation.
Rob Edwards’ men were unfortunate to leave the Emirates Stadium with a 2-1 defeat after a last-gasp Arsenal winner two weeks ago, and they were defeated 2-0 by Brentford on their return to Molineux.
They now face the daunting task of visiting Anfield still in search of their first win of the campaign.

There is a bit of an injury crisis happening at Anfield right now, and that was worsened when Isak’s leg break was confirmed earlier this week.
It compounds Slot’s other issues in his forward line, including Mohamed Salah’s absence due to AFCON.
Dominik Szoboszlai, who has filled in for the Egyptian off the right recently, is suspended, while Cody Gakpo is “50-50” having sat out the last couple of games with a knock.
Conor Bradley faces a late fitness test, while Florian Wirtz is fit to play, according to Slot.
Joe Gomez and Wataru Endo are longer-term absentees alongside Giovanni Leoni.
As for the visitors, they are missing a whole host of names.
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde and Marshall Munetsi are perhaps their biggest misses, while Rodrigo Gomes and Toti will also not make the trip to Merseyside.
Emmanuel Agbadou is at AFCON, while Yerson Mosquera is suspended.
Left-back Hugo Bueno faces a late fitness test on a groin injury.
Liverpool vs Wolves prediction
This should be pretty easy to call, regardless of Liverpool’s injuries.
The Reds are in form, Wolves are not. Hugo Ekitike has proved that he can shoulder the goalscoring burden, and now, he doesn’t have Isak competing for his position.
With Chelsea playing Aston Villa on the same day, this could be a real opportunity for the Reds to crash the top four.
