Oscar Bobb could leave Manchester City
In the early stages of the saga, Manchester City’s move for Antoine Semenyo reportedly depended on potential outgoings. Now, they are believed to be on the verge of completing the deal, and according to Fabrizio Romano, it seems Oscar Bobb will be the sacrifice they make to accommodate for the Bournemouth winger.
A number of clubs have expressed an interest in the 22-year-old. Crystal Palace are interested, but at this point, Borussia Dortmund appear to be the favourites to land his signature, with a strong reputation of developing young English players – think Jadon Sancho, Jude Bellingham and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.
Bobb hasn’t had much of a chance to establish himself as a regular starter under Pep Guardiola since recovering from a leg fracture which hampered his 2024-25 campaign. This term, he has been left completely out of the squad for four Premier League matches, starting five and making four appearances off the bench. Though obviously talented, he is yet to score in any competition, with only one assist to his name.
🚨 Understand Oscar Bobb could leave Manchester City in January. If Semenyo deal is completed, Bobb will seriously consider his exit.
Several clubs already made approaches for Bobb, including Borussia Dortmund in the recent weeks. 🟡⚫️
