Crystal Palace Eyeing Move to Sign Bodo/Glimt Star Jens Petter Hauge in January

Crystal Palace are keeping close tabs on Manchester City starlet Oscar Bobb ahead of the January transfer window, according to reports.

The Selhurst Park side, along with Premier League rivals Fulham and La Liga outfit Sevilla, are reportedly keen on signing the 22-year-old winger next month.

Bobb could be allowed to leave Man City in January should Pep Guardiola’s side complete the signing of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth.

As GIVEMESPORT revealed previously, Semenyo is favouring a move to the Etihad Stadium despite interest from other Premier League clubs and is available for a £65m release clause.

According to talkSPORT, Bobb could be allowed to leave City either permanently or on loan next month amid interest from Premier League and La Liga clubs.

Palace reportedly view the Norway international as a cheaper alternative to their top target, Tottenham Hotspur forward Brennan Johnson, whose £50m price tag may prove difficult to meet.

Oliver Glasner is seeking to add more attacking firepower to Palace’s squad next month, having struggled for productivity since Eberechi Eze’s departure to Arsenal this summer.

Bobb, who joined Man City from Norwegian side Valerenga in July 2019, has made 47 appearances under Guardiola to date, scoring three goals and providing four assists.

The ‘incredible’ 22-year-old has been fielded 15 times across all competitions this season, making nine starts and registering one goal involvement, which came in the season-opening 4-0 win over Wolves.

According to GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Fabrizio Romano, the Austrian tactician is likely to leave Palace at the end of the season, when his current deal is set to expire.

Glasner took over at Palace in February 2024, replacing Roy Hodgson, and won two trophies this year, the FA Cup and the Community Shield.

Palace are sitting ninth in the Premier League after 17 games this season, three points off Chelsea in fourth.
